DJ MasterMix

Entirely inadequate DJ service.

I attended a wedding a few weeks ago that hired DJ MasterMix and the DJ was utterly disgraceful. She was rude to not only the guests, but the BRIDE on her special day.

She looked miserable to be there, she did not bring the light package that was paid for, she played songs that the bride explicitly asked not to be played AND she didn't play songs on the bride's Playlist (which was only 5 songs).

Instead of being empathetic and acknowldging what took place, the owner was arguementive and displayed ZERO accountability. If you are looking to hire a DJ for a special event, I highly recommend you do not hire DJ MasterMix.

We had Michael as our DJ at our wedding this month and he did an excellent job! Michael was great at communicating with us leading up to our wedding day, and he brought great energy to the evening. He also played a mix of our favourite music and our guests had a great time. I would definitely recommend DJ MasterMix for any event.

DJ Mastermix was wonderful to work with in the planning of our wedding. In the lead up to our wedding we had calls with Michael to ensure we had picked all of the important songs on our big day and to help us iron out all the details. Both Michael and his team were wonderful to work with in the lead up to our wedding along with Grant (our day-of DJ) was amazing. On the day of our wedding, Grant made sure everything went off without a hitch and was great at communicating with us throughout the night about what people were requesting and how we felt about changing the initial direction of the music; by listening to his suggestions, we got more people on the dance floor and made sure everyone was having a great time. Would recommend DJ Mastermix to anyone looking for a DJ for their next event, they were great to work with.

We hired DJ mastermix for our smaller wedding and they did a fantastic job! They were very responsive and very thorough. Michael did a great job going over everything before the wedding. I would hire them again for any event they were a pleasure to work with.

DJ MasterMix was so easy to work with leading up to our big day and had amazing attention to detail. DJ Gabor is lovely and did a great job!

Michael from Dj Master Mix was an absolute life saver. His tips and tricks, and follow up emails throughout the course of our wedding planning were incredibly useful and really did help us in our planning! 6 days before our wedding there was a mix up with the dj a family member hired for us externally and Michael was there to save our day. He worked with his team to ensure everything was perfect, and we were taken care of. His customer service is unlike any other, and now we totally understand why our venue works with him. Dj Chavaughn with Dj Master Mix did a wonderful job with our ceremony and cocktail hour, you would’ve never guessed he only had 5 days to prep. I would highly recommend Dj Master Mix if you’re looking for support, to be taking care of, piece of mind, and of course, great music.

DJ Mastermix was amazing to work with! We just had our wedding last weekend (Oct 16th 2022)! He really helped us stay on track and get organized for our wedding day! DJ MasterMix is a fabulous vendor to work with if you are seeking a DJ for your big special day. We communicated with Michael during our planning process and he was extremely professional and detailed. We had Gabor as our DJ and he did not disappoint. Gabor followed instructions and played all of our must plays and dedications, did not play all of our do not plays, and then was able to fill in the blanks with music that served all of our guests. The dance floor was alive all night!
We also chose to add on their photo booth option, which is something you shouldn't skip. Frank monitored our booth for the 3 hours we had it open and he was awesome, he even made it into a couple photos at people's requests!

We used DJ MasterMix for our Muskoka wedding in June and they were absolutely amazing! The dance floor was packed until the very last bus came to pick up the guests. No one wanted to leave! DJ Will was so great to work with on our wedding day. He read the vibe of the crowd so well and played the right music at the right time. My guests raved about him!
Michael was also a pleasure to work with and confirm all plans with. We had to postpone our wedding a few times due to covid and Michael was so understanding and accommodating. It meant so much to us! The tools they had to plan everything from aisle songs to reception playlists were also so helpful and made sure nothing was missed. Definitely made the whole process so much easier for us brides.

We hired DJ MasterMix to DJ our wedding and they were amazing! Our first call was filled with a lot of information. It was a bonus they had worked at our venue before and provided a lot of insight that we ourselves did not know! The day of our wedding we had Chuck, who was absolutely lovely! He played amazing music that kept the dance floor filled. Chuck was very professional and on time! We would definitely recommend DJ MasterMix for your wedding!

Gabor was a wonderful DJ. He was incredible kind and considerate. The music was amazing ng and we were dancing all night long. Multiple of our friends who are getting married in upcoming months requested his info! 10/10!

DJ Michael and DJ Frank was part of our special day. The music during dinner and during the Filipino money dance was perfect - all of the songs reflected on what my husband and I requested. The photobooth was also a great hit! Everyone enjoyed it. However, my husband and I felt this was not reflected after dinner. My husband and I had spent quite a bit of time adding songs to the website and we felt many of the songs were not executed. We had added many soca songs, and only a handful were played. We also noticed Michael Buble was playing when we did not have any Michael Buble songs on our website. We even had to ask the DJ to switch up the genre of music. Overall, DJ Michael and DJ Frank were friendly, professional and accommodating.

Michael at DJ MasterMix was wonderful to work with. And his choice of DJ pairing was great. - DJ Deo went with the flow of events, and was able to alter what needed as the night went on.

We booked DJ MasterMix at the beginning of the pandemic and it was one of the few things I knew I didn't need to worry about from then on. Michael checked in on the wedding day, and was able to have a quick chat with us. It was everything we hoped for in a DJ service. Thank you

Michael & Leslie paid real attention to detail to make sure our wedding was successful, not just from the music side but in its entirety! DJ Leslie was really helpful in the evening and was super accommodating as we were having an outdoor wedding under the threat of rain - she was able to hold off setting up her equipment until the last minute so we were able to have the ceremony outside as we planned, which was great!

Michael and DJ Grant were terrific for our June 10 2022 wedding. Michael was very communicative and answered any preconceived questions I had going into our initial call before I could even ask them. The planning portion was simple and very easy to use and complete in a timely manner. DJ Grant was very professional in is manner as well as being dressed appropriately (peaky blinders vibe; we loved). Myself and my new husband have very different music tastes and DJ Grant was able to make very smooth transitions into different genres. DJ Grant checked on us throughout the evening and was very accommodating. We appreciate the work and effort that Michael and Grant provided for our special day.

Could not have had a better dj/emcee! Thank you for everything! So friendly, well organized for our wedding! I would highly recommend as he kept the night moving and everyone on the dancefloor, prices were unmatchable!

HIGHLY recommend DJ Mastermix for any of your DJ needs! Throughout my wedding planning process, DJ Mastermix was extremely helpful and organized. When it came to my wedding, the DJ that was assigned to my wedding was awesome! DJ Will came dressed appropriately, was friendly, outgoing, and had a great selection and variety of music ready to play. He also was very quick with requests which kept my guests happy. I will only recommend DJ Mastermix.
