We ordered the Hot Pink Splash arrangement for my mother's birthday-absolutely beautiful arrangement! My mom loves them. I requested them to be delivered within a certain time frame and it was great they were able to accommodate that. I've ordered several times from DMP, they don't disappoint.

I cannot thank Shanti at DMP Flowers enough. I needed a rush over the weekend for 14 bouquets, which was for an important function. Shanti used her magic to create some of the most beautiful bouquet of flowers in a short span amount of time with limited budget. I received many compliments from the organizers for the flowers but of course all the compliments go to Shanti for her hard work. Thank you DMP Flowers I will be sure to come back.

I ordered the bouquet online for my girlfriends birthday and when I went into the store there were much fuller bouquets and lovelier bouquets for less money. I won’t order online again but will go into the store. Also staff were not friendly that day at pick up. Perhaps they were stressed as it was Easter. As a long time customer I have to honestly say It’s really hit or miss here later.

Giving a poor review because of the way The lady who answered the phone at 10 AM this morning treated me. She was not helpful at all and downright rude. I just wanted to try and get a time for delivery today and she was all for telling me that it was not possible and in a very condescending way. Ask what happens if I am not home and she said "perhaps" it will be delivered tomorrow. That finished the conversation for me. Have visited this establishment for over 20 years but this was my first phone order that I placed a few days ago. Where is "Tommy"? It was a nice place to visit when he ran the business.

For my Mother Brenda's funeral they were amazing, kind, thoughtful and the flowers were incredible, the store may not look up market from the outside, but they are, and they give you a great product at a reasonable price. They are also open Mondays

Ordered flowers 3 days in advance of my wife's birthday online. The day they were supposed to be delivered, on her birthday, they phoned her saying they had a delivery coming her way and asking if she would be home to accept it. Eliminating the surprise element of my gift. Go figure?

When ordering over the phone, I told them "why" I was sending flowers. They understood and put together an arrangement that reflected my feelings.
I cannot thank them enough.

If I could give 10 stars I would! The wonderful team at DMP flowers went over and above anything that could be expected for my dad’s funeral service. My mom had some specific ideas and DMP was able to create something even more beautiful than she imagined. The best thing my mom said was everything was so beautiful, she did not feel like she was in a funeral. We were both absolutely shocked at the arrangements. We have never seen anything like them.

Everything went smoothly, even in the middle of their incredibly successful Ukraine fundraiser. Seemed like a small team with big hearts.

We will continue to order our flowers from DMP. Seriously cannot thank you enough for making my mom’s wishes come true.

DMP helped me with the flowers for my late father's funeral. They were kind and professional in the call when we set up the flowers. They gave me excellent advice in deciding what flowers to have at the funeral home. When I arrived at the funeral home I was incredibly impressed with the beauty of the flowers and how well they executed my vision. The flowers they provided were far more than I expected for the budget we set. I could not have been happier with them. Great florist!

DMP was recommended to my family by the funeral home that we were using for my dad’s funeral. They did an absolutely phenomenal job on all the arrangements. The casket spray was not only beautiful but it was huge and had a multitude of different flowers. They also really came through on the unique arrangements that my sister and I requested that were in tall glass vases. And finally, they did a great job on the heart shaped arrangement that was from my son. I highly recommend them for any function and will definitely use them again for my floral needs in future. I love this place when shopping for plants, bouquets, and cards. Very unique items at a reasonable cost.

Over charged, my first and it ll be last visit to this shop, I bought hanging basket for shaded area and sticker on the basket $16.95 but I was charged $19.95+tax, lady said this basket was $29.99 before, I should have paid attention and check price sticker, if I remember all those pink flower baskets in shaded area has same sticker.

Won't go back for sure.

Great value and flowers always last longer then I expect. Prices are excellent, I used to go to van belle flowers, but dmp is cheaper and easier to park at - highly recommend

Ive been here before and had great service.

However today was different.

I came in to make a purchase and was treated as an burden.

The florist did her best to misunderstand what I wanted and was unwilling to make any accommodations or effort into fulfilling my order.

I understand that everyone has the prerogative to run a business how they want to but the florist not to help is a new one.

I have been here before and was accommodated getting a small bouquet of forty dollars, but when I needed more, the florist did not understand why anyone would want or need that many flowers.

She kept on saying she did not understand why i wanted to spend $400 in flowers but it came across as ´i dont want to help you because it would be too much work’

The clerk working the nursery was miserable too. I tried being friendly and tried bringing some light her face was turned down, even when i let her keep the change from my purchase (i found a flower i needed to have) not even a thank you.

To me its a shame because the products are good but the staff today treated me like I peed in their cornflakes. I am a sensitive person who doesn’t deserve this ire from strangers.

The service was excellent! The planter arrangement was outstanding! My 101 year old aunt was so pleased to receive it. Highly recommend this florist! Thank you so much!

I sent my friend flowers for International Nurses Day. Althought DMP didnt have the flowers for the arrangement I selected, they informed me and then when I agreed they put together a comparable arrangement and delivered it to my friend. I would recommended them to anyone living in the Whitby area.

It looked exactly like the picture on the website.

All flowers were wonderfully fresh and most were taken home as memorials by family mourners.

Been going here for years, ive spend a good amount of money here, but after this experience i had there. Will never go there again, the online description is so vague, and your paying for literally 5 flowers when the picture online shows a whole vase full of them, and to top it off, didnt even come with the vase! Like why show in the picture if its not going to come with it.not impressed or happy, thanks for ruining my valentines day gift.worst ever! I dont even want to give it to my girl, thanks

The flowers are absolutely beautiful! However, it was a Sunday morning when they were delivered and the driver literally yelled at me for not showing up at the door. Even though I had requested they leave the flowers outside to ensure a no contact delivery. I spoke very respectfully to him and did not appreciate how mean he was being. I find that exceptionally rude.

Friendly, efficient staff. My friend was thrilled with the gorgeous bouquet we sent to celebrate her engagement. Highly recommend!

I rarely ever write reviews unless a product / service is either outstanding or brutal, this one is definitely the former. My mom and I have been going here for years and without a doubt every time they are amazing - whether I go into the store or do delivery they're amazing. I even ordered the daily florist's pick when I was away in Europe for Mother's Day and they made me look like the best daughter with how beautiful the bouquet was. Amazing flowers and service.

It's worth coming by here in person to see their beautiful flowers and other plants for your home or for a gift. I have also ordered online for delivery and the process was smooth.

This is the BEST floral shop around so naturally I HAD to have them do the flowers for my wedding. The quality of there flowers in incredible. My wedding was over a week ago and they still look like there brand new. The staff there is beyond amazing, helpful, friendly. I shopped here before my wedding, and they will still be my number one floral shop after.

The staff at DMP Flowers and Gifts is great. I went in yesterday and spot ordered flowers as a thank you. They did not think it could get delivered to Oshawa as I was later than 2pm. BUT it did. The person who got the flowers was thrilled. And they looked beautiful, colourful and a perfect compliment to Thanksgiving. Thanks again. You guys never dissappoint

Ordered an arrangement from here shortly after learning that a family member's pet had passed. The flowers were delivered next day with not extra delivery fee. Ordered the standard Sweet notions. Would highly recommend.

I have sent flowers three times to people who live in whitby and the flowers are always GORGEOUS. I'm so impressed the beautiful quality and value. A lot of flower arrangements from other florists are a disappointing RIP-off but this place is amazing. I wish they were in Toronto too so I could use them for all my occasions to send flowers. Highly reccomend.

I ordered the Height of Elegance (Deluxe) bouquet for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loved them. She said that they looked even better than the picture on DMP’s website (showed her afterward).

The flowers were super easy to order and arrived at her workplace very quickly. The whole process was great, since the website was easy-to-use and navigate.

DMP’s customer service is also great! I made a typo in the message that I sent with the flowers, so I called them up and they fixed it while I was on the phone with them. I definitely recommend DMP Flowers and Gifts!

I had flowers done here in April of 2019 for my mother’s funeral. I know this review is a bit late but I just want to say how amazing they were in helping me with honoring my mother in her funeral flowers. I had been a florist for many years so I know what I wanted. I knew I would not have the time or energy to do them myself so when I went in and talked to the lady behind the counter she made me feel SO reassured (I wish I remembered her name, she was East Indian) that she would take my vision and do her best with it. She completely knocked it out of the park. She was so friendly, kind, understanding and was very gentle with my many requests. I can’t remember her name but Thank You so much for all your beautiful work for my mothers funeral. I would go back here in a heartbeat.
