Dogfather & Co. Rosedale

I have recommended Dog Father grooming to friends and family. They are a caring team and have two awesome locations in Toronto filled with goodies. I've been taking our poodles to Stephanie for years and my one dog in particular who is quite a handful does extremely well with her. I love that their staff always tries to accommodate with scheduling and is very patient and kind overall!

I never ever write reviews but for this I had to. I came in here weeks ago asking to book a full groom service. I even ask multiple questions about the full grooming service and they told me they could book me in. I come in 3 weeks after (booked off work for this) and they denied me claiming I only “booked a bath”. Really unprofessional workers and a waste of my time and now I have to wait to book elsewhere. Ps: they also don’t greet anyone who walks in, no emotion when they talk and just overall super unprofessional. Don’t waste your time coming here if you’re thinking of doing so. 0/10. Also super overpriced.

I bought a rainsuit for my dog from Dogfather and Co, and the zipper broke within three weeks of her wearing it. I took it back and their reaction was "well you should take it to a tailor", despite the fact that it was clearly a defective product. I asked whether they would replace it, and the salesperson shrugged, said she would ask her manager, and took my number - it's TWO MONTHS later and I've not heard back.

I had come in over the weekend was really looking forward to checking out this store with my puppy and i was greeted in such a horrible manner. The associate working was rude and obviously didn’t want me there so me and my friend left with our puppies and left empty handed. I wish I had a better experience.

Braindead and unhelpful salespeople. I came in with my Chihuahua yesterday to pick up a winter jacket for him because of the snow today. No one really helped us out and it was a very awkward exchange. Store was tiny and cramped as well. It felt like pulling teeth trying to explain to the salespeople that we needed a jacket for him and that we needed help. Would have been an easy sale for them if they just did the minimal effort. I ended up ordering a jacket for him online but have to wait for it to come in and now he's cold.

We came in to try out a snowsuit for a dog. The staff were really attentive and helped out the snowsuit on my dog and made sure it was a good fit. They took the time to show us the features of the outfit and showed us how to take the suit on and off as it’s a bit tricky. Highly recommended!
