We took Ollie for his first ever nail trim, I was too nervous as he is young and "wiggly" with black nails. I called in and was given an appointment same day!
Everyone at Doggie Detailing was so wonderful with him. They were completely finished within 10 minutes, AND they had managed to use the dremel. I was amazed! We will be returning for all of our grooming needs

We had our first experience with Doggy Detailing today, and I can’t say enough about how amazing they are!
They did an absolutely incredible job on our 1 year old sheepadoodle, who went in badly matted! We received a ton of information about grooming needs which we did not receive from our previous groomer. We will be keeping our dog on a regular schedule with them and can’t thank them enough for doing such a beautiful job on our doodle! We will be recommending them to anyone we meet with a dog (particularly a doodle)!

I highly recommend double checking prices before the cut. The business model seems to be focused on price gouging customers with extra fees.check your prices before, and confirm ahead of time. I was charged almost $200 for a 34lb mini doodle. So many extras, I left feeling like it wasn’t an honest exchange.

Good use of technology to confirm and manage booking. He was ready when promised and looked good.

Great customer service! They were all very friendly and welcoming. They were really good with our 7 month old puppy at his first appointment.

We bring our German shepherd Charlie here a couple of times during the winter when it's too cold outside for us to bathe and de-shed him ourselves. He always comes out smelling good, looking good and so soft. They are good with him even though he has bad anxiety when we leave him.

I brought our super nervous min-pin here for nail trims and she was always handled with the most gentle loving care. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Hoping to book a groom in the near future now that we have a dog with a longer coat!

My two Aussies have been coming here for years. They were always so well groomed and cared for.

One of my girls is a ball of anxiety and wiggled a LOT during the grooming. There has been minor incidents but I was very happy how they handled the situation. They were great at communicating early and explained the situation. The owner is a massive dog lover who is very sympathetic that has a good grasp of what her business is about.

We had some requests on how to groom the girls and every drop off “the usual” or “same as last time”? Was great to see they had a good system.

I would recommend them to any pup parent ️

In the past, I had very positive experiences at Doggie Detailing.
I have 2 two dogs and I would bring them there for their nails.
On my previous visit, l had brought my dog Ruby in for her nails. The groomer had mentioned to me that Ruby was a little spunky, and she asked if it was ok to put a muzzle on her. I was fine with that, and I explained that she is only a year old, she's still a puppy, we laughed and she agreed.
I paid my bill of $16.00.

My husband brought Ruby in for her nails today. They took her in right away, Her nails were done And my husband came home. I checked my email and noticed that we had been charged $28.00 for Ruby nails! My husband went back to ask why the increase and he felt that they were very abrupt and rude with him.
Sorry to say, we will be leaving Doggie Detailing! My family and friends will be leaving as well!

I love everything about Doggie Detailing and how well they treat our doggo and us as well. I am never disappointed with the level of service we receive and how adorable our mini Poo looks after every appointment. They take such good care of her and treat like one of their own. Not to mention the professionalism and their level of commitment to continue their education and enhancement of skills. Heather knows dogs. She is constantly improving her game and in doing so, she is making sure that herself and everyone of her team are first in their class when it comes to grooming skills and dog care knowledge. If you're new to Quinte West and you need a groomer for your pets, then look no further, they will take great care of your pets. Highly recommended.

I am blessed to get my standard poodle groomed at Doggie detailing! The owner and staff are all incredible. The first day that I entered the salon my puppy and I were met by the most beautiful groomed poodles I have ever seen in my life. It instantly makes you more comfortable when all the staff have fur babies at work with them! I knew then, that this was going to be the place that could take care of all his grooming needs. Although my little guy can be quite the handful (understatement) Fiona is a professional and shows way more patience than I ever could. The staff is friendly, the price is right and the store is impeccably clean and upscale. Do not hesitate to bring your pets here. Pierre always looks so perfect when he’s done his spa day.

100% recommend doggie detailing. Heather and her staff are professional, caring and incredibly helpful. I'm always pleased with how my boy looks when I pick him up especially as he can be a handful of a boy and is opinionated. I really appreciate that they are always willing to spread knowledge on how to help care for my dogs coat at home in-between visits.

5 stars! The staff are incredibly friendly, always go above and beyond with my dog who is Never afraid to go back, Nova loves going to the spa. They provide exceptional services at outstanding prices. I pay $40 less for a groom here than where we used to live with more services and more friendly staff. Thank yoi for taking such wonderful care of my big floof!

Useless. We have a nervous dog. Instead of accommodating us in any way, they immediately said they would no longer book our dog. The dog was nervous and barking but not agressive or sick. They repeatedly gave us the runaround when we tried to book and eventually told us they would never book our dog again. For the amount of money you pay here you would expect them to accomodate people as much as possible. We even have veterinarian prescribed anxiety kits for grooming which they said didn't matter. They did not suggest any other groomers or services, saying "take your dog to the vet". Not helpful. Do yourself a favor if you have a nervous or easily upset dog, skip this place completely.

They are the best! I have been taking my dog there for 10 yrs and she is always beautifully groomed. They are so kind, friendly and professional, great bunch of ladies.

I informed/warned the staff that due to bad previous experience my dog is nervous and unhappy at the groomers'. I have been told that it's fine and staff will handle it. I also been told if dog is difficult an extra charge will be added. As I never had that before I inquired about the charge and was told: if you know a place that don't charge it - go there! I put muzzle on my dog in order to prevent any incidents, which they tried taking off (?). Either way I was asked to pick up the dog 20 mins later as they could not handle him. Was still charged almost $90. I am sure they do a good job when the dog behaves and I am sure many dogs would, but I did not appreciated attitude and the charge.

I love these ladies. They respect that I don't want my dog in a cage and give the best cuts. You can't get better in this town.

Kelsey does a phenomenal job every time! Both my dogs were/are always complimented on their appearance and haircut when she grooms them. The dogs are extremely comfortable with her, and always excited to come to the salon. Thank you Kelsey for taking such great care of my pups!

I own a breed that needs constant grooming. A bouvier, he also has separation anxiety and doesn’t do well when I am not there. I was searching for a place that helps My dog be himself for a long time, cue doggy detailing. We’ve been to many groomers, but Kelsey is our absolute favourite. Or I should say my dogs favourite. They are all excellent at doggy detailing, but Kelsey is the one teddy has chosen over and over. She is so kind and always has feedback to help me, help him. She also gives him the best haircut I’ve found anywhere. Thank you Kelsey for helping us make it a lot easier on grooming days. The stress is non existent now when I know he’s in good hands.

I’ve been taking my yorkie to Kelsey at Doggie Detailing for almost 3 years, and she is absolutely amazing with him. I would not take him anywhere else. I recommend Kelsey to anyone who needs to get their dog groomed.

We can not say enough about Kelsey! Our Frank is a big boy (St. Bernard/Standard Poodle) and she takes the best care of him. He looks forward to his "spa" day with Kelsey and he looks fantastic each and every time:) Thanks Kelsey!

My dog has bad seasonal allergies. They miss took his itching for fleas and charged me 25 extra dollars for a flea bath he did not need.

He's currently on vanectyl for his allergies and is on advantage and has been on it for every summer month for his life.
If he had fleas, sure give him a flea bath and I don't mind the extra charge.

But the fact is I just spent 20 minutes with him 2 days before taking him to the groomer going through his coat making sure he didn't have fleas.

So I took him to the vet to get him on his allergy meds.
When we got to the vet it was determined he didn't have fleas and that it was just his normal allergies.

Now just 2 days later he now has fleas?
It doesn't add up.
Not very impressed with paying the $ 21 extra dollars.

The girls did a great job. My dog looks fabulous. I was concerned about how my dog would take to a professional grooming because he has an attitude at home regarding grooming but he loved the attention. He looks great. I recommend them highly.

I exchanged a reasonable amount of currency for my animal to be washed and for her sharp little nails to be cut to an acceptable length. Now when my animal is prancing over hard surfaces the tickety tickety tac noises are lessened and the animal is very silky when petted.

I am a repeat client because the staff are very friendly, extremely professional, and practice safety measures that I am completely comfortable with. Highly recommended.

I recently moved to the area and had to find a new dog groomer for my dog, Silas (mini poodle-mix). He was groomed today by Kim Mills and she did a wonderful job, and exactly what I asked! Will definitely be coming back!

My cats experience there was the worst ever. She has been tramitized. She came home with multiple nicks and bleeding. I won't ever bring her back there. Not a good place at all for cats.

I haave always had a great experience. I come out of there looking pretty and smelling great. I look much better when I come out. I love my groomer Kim Groves. She does a great job. My human always takes me there. I would like to thank Kim and all the ladies as they have always made me feel welcome. So I didn't realize this was my son Steven's post.

The whole team are welcoming and friendly to both me and my dog. I am most pleased that Doggie Detailing will always do a groom the way I want it done, and have the skills to do so, even if the style changes periodically. My experience with other groomers is they have done what they want in spite of what I've requested. Doggie Detailing also carries great products that I know I can trust to be safe and of the highest quality. In my books, this place is absolutely fantastic!

Our dog LOVES Kelsey B! We followed Kelsey from her other work place and we are do glad we did! The salon is clean, friendly and our dog loves it there. There’s online booking, so be sure to use it and also book ahead! And if you have to wait to get in, it’s totally worth it
