Dogtopia of Bloor West Village

Inability to handle a dog properly.

Dropped off for boarding and first thing they did after I handed him over was improperly handle him causing him to bolt out both doors in the busy intersection.

Compensated half off for a stay sure, but called after I was worried for an update and nothing. The owner saved face by emailing bmme after. The second time we did boarding I wanted to pay for walks. They didn't do it as they don't have staff properly trained to do this his bathroom schedule was ruined and when I came back after his stay, he was sick. For weeks. It caused thousands of dollars of vet bills and food to get him back to normal and not a message since. The worst possible place to bring your dog. Avoid it.

Worst experience I've ever had.

Super pleased with the Meet & Greet my dog did with the company last week. The staff were very thorough in explaining everything to me, and I loved being able to check in on him with the webcams. As well, the report card they gave me at the end of the day to share how he did in doggy daycare was so adorable and really gave me peace of mind!

Dogtopia of Bloor West Village has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's more than just a daycare, it's a community that cares deeply for our four-legged family members. I highly recommend to any pet owner seeking a reliable, caring, and enriching environment for their dogs.

We go to Dogtopia for grooming. We have senior dog with some health issues and the groomer always tries her best to be patient and take extra care of him which means a lot to us.

Excellent customer experience, both for humans and dogs. From the professionalism and kindness provided by both Irene’s at the reception, to the safety and attention towards our dogs, it is a pleasure to interact with Dogtopia Bloor West. I intend to leave my dog with them on a regular basis, for many years to come.

The staff here are amazing and my pup loves going in, she doesn't even look back! I love that she can play with other similar sized dogs and get exercise especially when the weather is bad or I'm at work!

The person kayli was very good at their job and nice. I wouldve given 4 stars but the customer service was so amazing that I bumped it up

Always courteous, professional and friendly. One of the only places I’d ever trust to leave my beloved Diba at cause I can tell how much she loves the staff there just by the way she runs in every time I drop her off…. Keep up the great work

I am very pleased with the job Kay did in grooming my golden retriever. She listened to what I wanted done and an hour and a half later, my dog emerged happy and gorgeous.

First time here Tara the groomer was attentive, and informative listened to what I required done on my boy. He looks great. We certainly will be back. Thanks Tara. ️

Fantastic dog grooming place. My two Havanese got groomed by a very talented groomer. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely coming back!

Used their daycare and boarding services for several months on an almost daily basis and I was very happy with the staff who seemed to genuinely care about the dogs. Even in the worst of the winter storm they were open and able to provide daycare. I had no safety concerns and my dog seemed excited to spend her days there.

I was very impressed with Dogtopia after my first day leaving my puppy Skye in their care. Wonderful and helpful staff, clean and premium environment and as a newer dog parent, love having the ability to watch my puppy play during the day with the webcam. Skye had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back) I would 100% recommend this to others looking for dog daycare in the Bloor West/Kingsway area.

You can tell each dog's safety and happiness are the top priority. The staff is warm, friendly, and knowledgable. The facility is spic and span.

Willow enjoys her time playing with other beasties. Always comes home very sleepy after a long day of play. Also they were able to give her a little trim for her nails at the Spa Ooh la la

The staff at Dogtopia are incredibly accommodating and patient with my dog who has high anxiety. They have been incredible in ensuring that he has a positive experience while at daycamp and boarding!

I just saw their ad for DOG MASTER and they pay $15-$16 an hour. What a joke.

I think its laughable and certainly the old adage applies, you get what you pay for.

My puppy loved his first day! The staff are amazing and ensured he was safe and paid extra attention to him when he got anxious. Can't express how amazing it felt to be able to see my lil fur baby on the webcam playing around:) Signed him up for weekly daycare as I feel this will really help him.

Do not take your dog to this place. They do not take care of the dogs. Our dog is able to go on group dog walks, group plays, and to boarding where he plays and roams with other dogs 24/7 with no issue. When he goes there he is involved in fights and scuffles and sent to another room on his own. I do not recommend.

Taking my dog to Dogtopia Bloor West is one of the best decisions I've ever made. He loves it there! All the staff really care about the dogs and strive to make it a great experience for everyone. 10/10 recommend Dogtopia Bloor West

I love that everything is tech-enabled and seamless. I like the flexibility of a 12-hour drop off and pick up window. And, I love the setup and that dogs are free to roam and play all day.

Wonderful first experience with doggy daycare! The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The camera app is an amazing feature as I was able to see Kemba explore his new environment and interact with his new furry friends I love that they group the dogs according to their size. The facility is very clean and well maintained and all the dogs were having lots of fun Thank you for the very positive experience!

Very accomdiating with my work schedule. I needed to drop Ruby off earlier than opening hours and pick up later. I really appreciated how Staff was very accomdiating to let me drop off Ruby early on days they had boarding, they were very friendly and professional as well. Staff made my experience stress free and enjoyable. I also loved how easy the app was to navigate and having the option of the webcam to check on Ruby on my work break if I wanted to was really amazing. Overall such a stress free and enjoyable experience for me and Ruby. Ruby is always overly excited and happy to go (she is normally very calm and mellow) and looks excited and playful when I pick her up too which let's me know she had a fun, safe, enjoyable and positive experience there!:)

Welcoming and very detailed on explaining the protocols for safe dog play. Playroom very well controlled by the experienced coach who is always there to break up unwanted interactions. I feel confident that my dog can enjoy himself there while being safe and cared for.

After a much-needed haircut, Dogtopia was swift and prompt to take in our 25-pound terrier dog. On top of this, the team at Dogtopia displayed their service and skill level in their grooming capabilities. My dog has never looked better and appears to walk with a slight strut to his step:) Kudos, and thank you again.

When you have a rescue dog with a lot of anxiety and some weird quirks, you often find people just don’t understand your dog. That is not the case at dogtopia. They not only understand my dog, they appreciate her for all that she is and are committed to her happiness and well-being above all else. Having a place like this to drop your dog off and know they are safe and having fun while you are busy is a huge comfort. I recommend them to friends and neighbours often.

My dog has been going to this daycare for over a year and still gets really excited every time we pull up to the curb. He loves all the staff and spending the day playing with his friends. We've also had good experiences with their boarding and grooming services. He's learned to play so nicely with other dogs and his confidence has grown so much thanks to the team.

Brought in our puppy to clean some pine gum off his paws and they unfortunately were not able to remove it but did not let us know and still charged us. The nail trimming was perfect though and the staff were very friendly.

I am so happy I finally found a wonderful doggie daycare to meet the needs of my little guy, Pepper. The staff are attentive and caring and constantly supervise the puppies and dogs. I very pleased with cleaniness of the facility and the wonderful staff. He had a great time on his first visit and I look foward to taking him there soon. This place is great. We take our dog here once a month to get away from our building's fire alarm testing and our guy is super shy but the staff are really friendly and take great care of him. I love that they have cameras in their rooms so I can check to see how my dog is doing too.

Our pup loves to visit Dogtopia to hang out with both his furry and human friends, and for the occasional spa day. He loves visiting and is always excited when we roll up to drop him off!

My partner and I absolutely LOVE the staff and other dogs we have met at Dogtopia. Our puppy is excited to go every morning and exhausted when we pick him up. The webcams are awesome and it is so lovely to be able to check in on our little guy throughout the day. The staff are kind and patient and take the time to keep all the dogs safe and happy. We could not ask for better care when we are not around.

Best daycare in the area. After trying 4 other places we definitely recommend Dogtopia. Their care and attention is outstanding. Personnel are trained and they are all dog lovers. The place is spot less and they have now extra measures in place. Extremely safe. Our two dogs LOVE going there and we are extremely comfortable with the love and care and attention they receive

Love this place! I've been taking my small dog here for nail trims for about a year now. The staff is very friendly and gentle with my small dog. The quality of the nail trims is always consistently good and reasonably priced too. A very big thank you to all the staff!

Our Vizsla is always super excited in the morning when we drop him off for daycare, and exhausted when we bring him home after work - Tiring him out is not an easy thing to do.

Dogtopia is also the only place that has successfully managed to trim his nails as he can be quite stubborn.

We've already recommended Dogtopia to family and friends, and won't hesitate to continue doing so!
