My dog Melly absolutely loves every day at Dogtopia! The staff are so kind and welcoming, they have separate rooms for the small and big dogs which helps Melly feel more comfortable since she's small, and I love watching her play with her friends on the webcams! The staff really seem like they care about each individual dog, they always get excited to see her and she loves all of them. Overall an amazing daycare experience!

The folks at Dogtopia have been so fantastic with my pup! She has bad separation anxiety, and was terrified to stay somewhere without me. The first few weeks were rough for the both of us, but thankfully I was always able to keep an eye on her via the webcams. The staff did everything they could to keep her comfortable and relaxed, including moving her to a room with smaller dogs who she felt more confident around. She has now been attending daycare for almost a month, and it's been so great to see how her confidence has blossomed. She is so excited to spend time with her friends, running around the playroom and interacting with the staff. The employees are always great, supportive, and understanding, and recognized my pup by name in no time! Thank you for being trustworthy, kind, and caring!

We have experienced a great deal of disappointment with the service provided by Dogtopia. Our dog, Romeo, occasionally visits their facility, and on our most recent visit, he was injured once again. This marks the third unfortunate incident, with two occasions where his paw pad was injured, and another where his foot was heavily soiled. While we understand that accidents can occur, the repetition of these incidents is concerning.

Despite their claims of doing everything in their power, the responsibility seems to be shifted onto us. The recurrence of these distressing events suggests a lack of efficacy in their care procedures. It appears that the root cause may be an overload for the staff to adequately oversee the numerous dogs present. We entrust our pet's safety and well-being to their care, and unfortunately, this was not upheld. Due to these concerning incidents that we have experienced, we will not be bringing our dog to Dogtopia anymore.

My dog Moose has been to several different kennels and daycares in different provinces, and Dogtopia Kitchener is the best! The facilities are fun, safe and clean, and the webcams let me check in on Moose throughout the day wherever I am. Having daycare, overnight boarding and grooming services all available in one place is very convenient, and is less stressful on Moose since he has become familiar with Dogtopia (and knows he is going to have lots of fun while he is there). It bears mentioning that Dogtopia is the only daycare I have ever used that offers curb side pick up and drop off, which is great when your dog is 162 pounds like mine and gets excitable (especially at drop off in the morning). And that is a free service! Last but certainly not least, the staff at Dogtopia Kitchener truly make the place what it is; you can immediately tell they are “dog people” and genuinely enjoy spending their day with the dogs, almost as much as the dogs do. Give them a try - you will have a very happy (and tired) dog at the end of the day!

My dog loves going to Dogtopia in Kitchener. Don’t love that there’s no outdoor space but it’s convenient. Would love to take her there more often but it’s just become too pricey. Not sure if we’ll be back. Please offer the 10 pay pass option again.

I love the way they take care of all the dogs in their care. I love the fact that I can see my dog all day through their webcams. The staff is very helpful. I highly recommend their services.

Employee was caught on camera abusing dogs, dogtopia was sent the footage, but refuse to fire the employee "will be retrained and keeping the employee to small dogs". Dogtopia owner of this franchise instead got mad the employee was caught and posted online.

I hope this review will be read by the owner and get back to me on my email. My poor puppy of 4 months old sustained a serious fracture leg while under their supervision. He spent 2 days in the ICU along with a massive vet bill costing over $8000. He requires 2 surgeries each 3 weeks apart, no weight baring on his leg costing me to take off 8 weeks of work. It has been so upsetting especially when dogtopia doesn’t assume any accountability plus not responding back to my email.
I also looked back at my charges and they charged me 4 times, each $178 in the month of December when my puppy only went for 1 day on a Saturday for 6 hours for the entire month of December.
I’ve addressed this as well and no reimbursement for this matter.
The financial stress this company have left me in is unbelievable not even responding back to my email.
My puppy have only been to day care for not even a month under their watch and this happened, not to mention i counted 27 dogs there at that day at the time of his traumatic accident and recorded it.
If you want to have a massive bill that put you in debt and unpaid time off (I’m an ICU nurse and is in a high demand especially around this time of the year), then this is the place for your dog.
Be careful and do your research on where you put your love ones. I’m not a one to leave reviews especially negative reviews on anyone but if a facility that caused this much pain and stress that assume no accountability or respond to your email, then others need to be made away.
They also emphasize on how safety is their number one priority, the design of the room is not fit for little dogs and puppies and you will be ignored if an incident happens.

Update: as mentioned in my review, I have reached out to the owner and it is the owner that haven’t responded back and I’ve waited over a week.

My dog loves all your people and she's always so happy to arrive for a daycare day. It's nice to have the option for her to be indoors when it's hot and humid or cold and wet. Plus there's always fun events for her to participate in.

It has been a great experience so far. My girl gets lots of exercise and is tuckeredout after a day of playing! I especially appreciate that someone is with her at all times.

Dogtopia is an awesome doggy daycare. It's easy to book through the app, the staff are friendly, I love the option to watch my dog on the webcams, and my dog absolutely LOVES it! They treat the dogs well and put effort into making dogs feel comfortable there.

Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell they all genuinely care about both the puppies and the owners. I highly recommend Dogtopia of Kitchener to anyone looking for daycare for their dog!

Excellent doggie daycare. My fur baby is so happy when she goes to see her friends. I love the ability to check in on her now and then. Everyone is very knowledgeable about dog behaviours and intervene as needed. Very conveniently located and the hours are great. Highly recommend

Lola has been there for almost a year. We love it there and we know she is well taken care of. We have used all their services including boarding, spa and regular daycare. She is always excited to go. Highly recommend.

Loved the experience and so did my 4 month old pup. It's an INDOOR daycare so would be ideal for the winters. Everyone is very attentive and approachable. Very prompt in their responses to any queries whether in person or online. The registration process was smooth too.

Our dog, Freya, has been going regularly to daycare at Dogtopia for about 1.5 years now. The staff are kind and attentive to Freya, and she's always tired after a full day at daycare!

The daycare was great but they have so many money grabbing add ons that are “required” before boarding or daycare. They’re just trying to get the most money out of you that they can here.

It's a great place for my puppy to enjoy play with others in a safe environment. It was really fun being able to watch the puppy on camera all throughout the day. The staff was very knowledgeable and was great at keeping the dogs under control, preventing over excitement. The dogs are all very friendly and I had no reason to worry about my puppy getting hurt.

I bring my two dogs here, Sweetpea and Neptune, and they love it! They always come home happy and tired:) I get email reports on their day, photos, and one on one chats with the trainers. The best part is all the activities and theme days for the dogs, and being able to watch them live on camer.

If you are looking for a place to just have your dog run around and be bullied by other dogs with no actions taken this is the place to go. There is no structure, dogs are placed in a room to be free to do whatever and if that one person in that room watching the dogs sees an issue the dog gets put in a crate for a time out. Not recommended for a puppy or young dog trying to build confidence as the dog will get bullied by bigger older dogs with no actions taken, this will make your dog take it upon themselves to act out and protect themselves which will cost you a lot more money in the long run to correct. Look for a daycare with structure and not a free for all.

Everyone is so great and helpful! I like that they have different rooms depending on the size and activity level of your dog. Being able to check in and see your dog on the Webcam is really nice and reassuring. The trainers do a great job of monitoring the dogs and keeping them engaged in different games and activities. Loved the doggo bubble machine!

Korgi loves dogtopia. He went to puppy preschool here and we've seen such a positive change in him. He's gotten more confident, made new friends with other pups and staff at dogtopia, especially Mary. We also used their grooming service and Korgi came back looking fresh and handsome once again. Love that this place have webcams set up so that we can watch Korgi as well to feel at ease knowing that he is always being cared for when he's there.

This place is a bust. They make it seem all nice and amazing and say the dogs best day of there life.my 7 month old puppy has been going there for a couple days now and she was a very social playful puppy that loves to make friends. At dogtopia she is like a whole different puppy.doesn’t play at all for the 5 hours she is there and now this experience has made her scared of dogs at the dog park which she was never scared of before. I watch her on their webcam and i am constantly seeing dogs getting humphed for several minutes until a worker realizes it is happening. I also have never seen them give any water to any of the dogs there. I see mine and including others panting a lot and needing water, especially the ones that are very active in there. This was a waste of money and broke my heart to just see my social puppy not have fun at all when she was there.

I've been taking my dog here for a month now and so far so good. They are a little expensive ($45 per day with a 10 day pass) but I feel comfortable leaving my dog with them.

Our puppy LOVES going to dogtopia. We love watching him on the Webcam throughout the day, and he comes home happy and sleepy. Totally recommend for any dog owner.perfect for those working from home with a new pup or high energy doggo!

The staff here were so amazing. My dog can be very shy and they were so kind and patient. I highly recommend this place.

My pup has been coming to Dogtopia for about 3-months now. I work from home and he's still under 1 year so the break once or twice a week is super helpful. He absolutely loves it, I see the coaches interacting with the dogs and managing the rooms all day and have no concerns about my pups safety. I considered more "structured" daycares in the area but my pup seems very suited to all-day play and we consistently train at home and in his classes, so I see no need at all for those more exclusive, expensive daycares.

Maya loves the playful atmosphere she has calmed down and seems to know when we are going the best place ever.

The staff is amazing! They are so kind and happy to help! My dogs are always treated well, and I love that I can check in on the doggy cams!

We can’t leave our 11mth old husky home alone due to her anxiety so Dogtopia has been a real life saver when we need to go out unexpectedly, or want to take the kids out for the day.

Our dog really loved their first day there. The staff were very kind and supportive, as well as knowledgeable. I love that I can use the app to arrange appointments and to use the web cam. We are going to continue using Dogtopia as our doggy day care.

My dogs just went for their introductory/temperament test, and I was beyond impressed. They took the time to explain what they looked for in my dogs' temperament and how they were doing. I even got a call midday to update me on their day as well as a picture. We have moved around a lot, and so we have tried several different boarding/doggy daycare facilities. This has been the absolute best place we've ever been to. I could tell the staff had received extensive training and knew what they were doing. It's always hard for me to leave my dogs, especially someplace new, but I felt very comfortable leaving them at Dogtopia knowing they would be well cared for.

My dog loves it at Dogtopia, and I am confident that they will take great care of him every time I drop him off. The webcams are really fun to check in on throughout the day to see my little pup having a blast.

When we went for meet and greet they were awesome. Took COVID guidelines very seriously, they were awesome with my dogs, they answered all the questions I had and they were quite knowledgeable and understanding! Very friendly staff!

Absolutely amazed by the care and quality they took for my pup, shes a senior and I recently took over her care so grooming is not her strong suit! But they were able to calm her and gain her trust enough for them to do an amazing job grooming her. I will be back and be recommending them to everyone I know with a pup!

Extremely friendly staff with attention to detail. Overly accommodating with the pick up time given a hectic schedule. I love how they took time to ensure that our grooming processes at home are conducted in the best way for our puppy. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable! I always feel comfortable leaving my puppy with the Dogtopia staff and know that he will be well taken care of.

My Corgi loved it, watching him play with his new furfriends and having the time of his life on the webcam made me so happy. The webcam is the best feature, so you can check in on your pupper! The staff is great, professional, friendly and they care for all the dogs there. They ensure all the dogs are safe and they will intervene when necessary if there is a conflict with any of the pooches. They also discipline the dogs with positive reinforcement if they misbehave. The facility is clean and well kept. I highly recommend this place. Glenn will be back there again after the positive experience he had.

All the staff are so pleasant and professional. They treat all the pets and "pet parents" as vip spa clients. The facility is bright and clean, and all the pups have an amazing time playing and jumping up on the safe equipment. Being able to watch this on the web cam's takes away any worry about how my boy is doing throughout the day. Worth every penny! Dogtopia earns its name. I highly recommend.

The staff at Dogtopia Kitchener are absolutely amazing, whether caring for your dog or communicating with you, the pet parent. You can tell they all love their jobs and they love your pet too. It fantastic being able to check in on your pet via the webcams in the facility.

He has so much fun here and I love how you can check in on them throughout the day using the webcam. It makes me so happy to see him having a great time and making other doggie friends.

Our dog loves his days at Dogtopia in Kitchener! He only goes one day a week but you can tell he wishes he could go more often, since he whines and pulls dowsed the building whenever we’re walking downtown.
The staff is super professional and well trained in “dog”. I always see top notch handling and training techniques whenever I spy in on the doggy-cam.

They're so personable my boyfriend and I, and I love that they always seem so excited to see my boy, Charlie (he's excited to see them, too!) We get the occaisonal report card, photo, and sometimes even some dogtopia swag. Having access to a webcam to check in on our boy throughout the day is so fun and addicting to watch! The prices are also super reasonable. I cannot praise dogtopia and their staff enough. Nothing beats a happy, tired dog at the end of the day:)

Fabulous location, right in downtown. They do different events throughout the month that are super cute (e.g. Dress-up events and paw print painting). They also have grooming services, so you can just get your dog bathed the same day they're at daycare!

My dog was comfortable within 15 minutes of his first day. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I feel completely confident leaving my fur baby in their very capable hands. My baby is currently curled up to me passed out from exhaustion from an awesome day at dogtopia!

A couple weeks ago I took my 6 month old puppy to Dogtopia. The only experience I have with daycares is at Dog Haus, which also sucks. I decided to take my baby to Dogtopia because of how highly requested it was by work colleagues and peers. However, none of them had the experience I had and it all had one common barrier. When you first want to book one of their free days you have to call the facility and one of the desk lady’s will take all your information and book you in. Many of my colleagues say wonderful things about the staff they deal with but my experience was by far the worst I have ever experienced. I wish I knew the name of the girl who I met when I came in or else I would contact management myself to have her fired but management must be just as horrible for hiring her to begin with! When I first came to meet the staff for my baby’s first day of daycare the asian lady I met couldn’t even say her name correctly! She then went on to talk about Dogtopia and seemed as though she had no idea what she was talking about. It’s as if I were talking to a brick wall. Any questions I asked her had to be redirected to the manager because she does not know what is going on at her own job. I would never recommend anyone to bring their dog here unless you’re lucky enough to not have to deal with this staff member. I will be contacting head office or reaching out to the owner because this is absolutely unacceptable. They have webcams that you can watch while you leave your dog at this horrendous place. I watched my baby sit in fear by the door all day long. I called to see what was wrong or if I should pick her up because it didn’t seem like she was having any fun at all. The same under qualified staff member answered the phone and told me that she is doing well. As she should know I can watch the webcams and see that she is purely lying. After telling me she is doing wellshe then began to try to offer me a buy 1 get 3 free over the phone. I haven’t been back for about a month and the same staff member constantly calls me and leaves me voicemails. I am never coming back All these people care about is your money and they won’t be able to answer any questions that you have about anything regarding their facility because they don’t know anything themselves. Hopefully the owner gets new staff because I’d hate to see this place go out of business too. Do not bring your dog here.

Dogtopia of Kitchener is such an amazing establishment! Our pups are having such a good time and come home tuckered out. All the staff is so friendly and I feel so comfortable leaving our dogs here. Highly reccomend!

My pup LOVES running into Dogtopia and being greeted by the friendly staff. He loves playing with all the pups, educated trainers and we look forward to their published monthly calendar packed full of fun activities. There is piece of mind for dog parents missing their fur family members with the nest camera which enables us to spy on them during the day! I also received check up calls my dogs first few visits - which gave me comfort and happiness sending my pup here. We have - and will continue to recommend Dogtopia as the place to send your fur baby for their daycare and spa needs!

Dogtopia Kitchener is the best! My pup is absolutely obsessed. He's SO excited as soon as he realizes where we're going. It's been a critical part of his socialization with other dogs (and humans!). Not to mention he's so much calmer overall now what he has somewhere to get out all his energy. I love that I can still keep an eye on him all day through the live stream cameras.

The staff are exceptional, they're always so welcoming and friendly to both me and my dog. Not to mention I genuinely feel like they've taken the time to get to know both of us. They're always very quick to give me a call if they have any concerns about my pup whatsoever. Plus they definitely like to keep things interesting! They have tons of different events and themed days.

Additionally they're the only fully indoor doggy daycare in the area which is absolutely crucial for my dog who does not do well in extreme weather conditions. Location is also amazing if you live/work in DTK.

If you're on the fence about joining I would highly recommend coming in for a meet and greet!

Dogtopia Kitchener is an awesome place. We know this because our Cockapoo Benjamin tells us so. No, we don’t speak “poo”, but his noticeable excitement each and every day we arrive speaks volumes. Ben is always eager to spend his day at Dogtopia and play with his new friends. It’s obvious he loves his caregivers too. As doggy parents, we really like the friendly atmosphere of Dogtopia. The facility is bright and modern, the play areas are spacious and well-equipped, and the staff are professional and caring. It really is a home-away-from-home for our little guy. We also like the web cams so that we can be part of Ben’s day from time to time. The report cards show that Ben is fitting in well and we really like getting the feedback. Dogtopia’s social media posts are very well done and are an additional special treat for us when Ben is featured! It’s also a bonus that we can have our Cockapoo groomed when at Dogtopia. We know our little guy can be a big handful in the grooming department, but Victoria is an outstanding groomer. Patient and caring and obviously loves what she does. We would highly recommend Dogtopia Kitchener to any dog owner. Even if circumstances mean you are mostly home with your dog, the additional socialization with other dogs is well-worth it!

We love Dogtopia. We’ve been taking our cockapoo here for a little over a month now and we are already seeing the benefits of daycare in him. He is a very timid dog but thanks to Dogtopia’s team he’s coming out of his shell more every week. We love watching him from home and knowing he’s in a safe and fun place. Dogtopia’s transparency is one of the main reasons why we chose them, which includes the cameras, report cards and photos.

My pup love going to Dogtopia-Kitchener. Once he gets out of the car he can't wait to meet the friendly staff and his fur-buddies. The facility is well maintained, the staff is readily available to answer questions about my pups day/experiences. The app is great for booking appointments and checking out the webcam.

Dogtopia Kitchener has made my furry step-son feel right at home since his first day. The staff are friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the doggos, and you can tell that they genuinely care. As a result, my dog gets his fellow doggy socialization in, has better manners and is better behaved at home.

I've also gotten grooming done from them by way of a bath and ear cleaning. The dog was glowing afterwards! Would definitely recommend their grooming services as well.

Dogtopia has changed my dogs life. She was scared of everything and everyone and now she is very social and is always excited to see all staff members and her doggy friends. They have even helped her get over her fear of baths. I love how they have a monthly event calendar and we fully participate. I know that I’m leaving my dog in good hands! I’m a little obsessed with watching my dog on their webcam, such a great feature!

Vicki is absolutely wonderful! She gave my dog her summer hair cut with a beautiful tail colour job. My dog has crazy anxiety, but was comforted with Vicki while getting groomed. She also did a fantastic job with her teeth, she had them nice and clean in a short period of time, saving me hundreds at the vet. I highly recommend seeing Vicki for all your dog grooming.

My corgi puppy starting going at 4 months old and the staff was amazing welcoming Ophelia to their play room! They made her first day very special with a sign and photo to take home afterwards.

Ophelia LOVES going to Dogtopia, she has so much fun! I love having access to the webcam to see her play when she’s there and I can tell how happy she is when she is there.

The staff is very kind and responsive to my questions. They are very welcoming and loving to my puppy and are able to correct her behaviour when needed.

I was referred by a fellow dog owner, who also took their pup to Dogtopia Kitchener. I picked up Elon at eight weeks old and unfortunately he was too young at the time to be enrolled in doggy daycare at Dogtopia. I waited until mid-September before I enrolled Elon.

When I initially called, I spoke to Breanna at reception. She was phenomenal and coordinated directly with our vet to get the required records. Breanna made everything super seamless and we were able to get him enrolled just a few days later.

Elon absolutely loves daycare. He’s half Australian Shepherd, half poodle, so he has lots of energy and he really burns it off during the day, went at Dogtopia.

I’m super impressed with the services they provide and all they love the give to my pup and all the others!

We have been taking our Sadie for a few weeks now to Dogtopia Kitchener and we are so happy we found you. We were a bit hesitant as she is so little and was very timid but all our worries went away as soon as we had our first visit at the daycare. We appreciated how friendly the staff are and so welcoming of our puppy and how they acclimated her to the rest of the dogs in the playroom. We love checking in on the webcams and seeing her play with all her friends she’s made. She is now so much more confident and well behaved and we couldn’t be happier with her progress. Thank you Dogtopia Kitchener for welcoming our little Sadie into your family.

We love Dogtopia Kitchener! Our plan was to get him out of the house to play for the day while working from home, what we got in addition to that is a pup who has changed so much. So well behaved and learning some manners! The coaches and staff are so amazing with all the dogs, love the random videos or pictures they post through the day, as well as all the events they have planned. We hope we can make it to a beach day sometime! The web cam is addictive, nothing makes us happier than to see our little guy running around having the best day ever, while knowing he is being carefully looked after. We always bring home one happy, tired little puppy?

I brought my puppy in for a teeth cleaning.
She was quoted by our vet at $700-$1000 for a full cleaning. Their groomer spent 30 minutes with my King Charles, and her teeth haven't been this clean in years!
Because she had all of her vaccinations, we got to try out a day of daycare as well, and after a few short hours, my pup had new friends and never wanted to sleep more!

We love Dogtopia! My dog Bowie goes here for daycare frequently and has also had 2 baths from the spa. The staff here are amazing. We can watch what Bowie is up to during the day on their webcams, and so we see how great the staff are with him all day. They are always so happy to see him and loving & patient with him. This is important because he's a bit of a nervous dog and Dogtopia really helps to socialize him and make him feel comfortable in more new experiences.

Bowie is also typically terrified of baths, but the lady who does the grooming services is some sort of dog whisperer. They send us videos of his bathtime, and he's always relaxed and seems to be enjoying the experience with her.

I trust them implicitly with Bowie and he comes home tired & happy!
