Dollar Tree

Usually, I come to this Dollatree and have no problems, yes, the staff is usually absent throughout the store or when you randomly come across one in the isles they are generally unhelpful, not knowing where and if they carry certain products, or just lying saying that they don’t carry the product (I came back the following week and it was there on the shelves). But today I showed up at 8: 56 to grab a birthday bag for my boyfriend to find a lady who had been at the locked door since 8: 50pm trying to speak to one of the staff. The staff was very rude, telling the lady that they chose to close early and they didn’t have to give a reason for doing so before slamming and locking the front door. The lady was recording the entire interaction. Several of the staff members at the front continued to taunt the lady by laughing, and pointing, and eventually one staff member making rude gestures at her through the window. This is not professional and I get that this shouldn’t be a problem but this isn’t how a business should be run. 9pm is close that’s when you lock your doors, and it reflects poorly on the company as this isn’t the first incident or instance of issues with this particular location and clearly the staff members feel there are no consequences for their behaviour. It’s sad. Maybe the company should install self-serve cash out like dollarama. Less rude staff. Less unhappy customers. Better business. Better bottom line.

Dollar tree is a great place to find all your craft / party supplies. Unfortunately the staff here is extremely ignorant and RUDE. Cashier (J**) was Confused, unprofessional and very disrespectful. They really need to do some basic training on customer service! Will not be returning to this location.

I didn’t get much luck with Dollar Tree today. At this location the manager rude that l was thinking how do you guys hire your staff. I was looking for plate for craft. I should her picture before l even finish the sentence it was a big NO before l asked for the next product another NO like don’t bother me l am talking to my colleague. What a surprise in the service l got from dollar tree. It’s sad that’s why we shop in the states. Canadian service it’s so disappointing.

Great prices and variety of items and gadgets Can never go on for just 1 or 2 items lol usually a cart full
