Dollarama

A go-to place for any odds n' Sods you may need or want, but getting pricey now. With their $5 item price max, there's a wide range of interesting new items in store, but their lower priced items have increased dramatically over the past year. Shop around, sometimes you can do better.

Need more counter space for my items like I'm supposed to hold this basket putting one item down at a time while the person scans my items and where I'm I suppose to put basket when I'm done? Oh ya walk it back to the front of store where all of them are or made you could make a spot like the rest of the store's.

Also self check-out will never work
So you should always have someone standing there because of that just like Walmart dose because of the same results of self check out machines

But hey still get alot junk for 20bucks

I was profiled and stopped from entering the store now. I could see others walk into the store and lady in the front told it's because only 20 people are allowed inside. I thought covid restrictions are over and she wasn't giving any other reasons. Then I saw others were letting inside without any trouble. It's lady in black hoodie who is handing the door.

Why is the prices going up so much? I can find same product for less elsewhere. If you search, some bargains can be found here.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I called asking specifically for a certain item. I even spelled it out for them. They told me they put the item behind the counter for me. I drove half hour to get the item and when I get there, the girl at the counter decides tells me she look for the item. No reason. Just told me to find someone else to help me. I come to find out it wasn't the right thing despite me spelling it out for them. Zero customer service. Zero custome experience. Zero stats.

Well kept and merchandised store, staff are helpful and do a good job with cashing you out. Very convenient location.

None of their earphone headsets work on cell phones to make phone calls. Only useful for listening to music on your phone.

I go to Dollarama first, and seldom have to go anywhere else for the items on my list. Way pay more?

Decent selection (4/5), no self check outs though, line took 3 minutes, the cashier I had was very fast and friendly (5/5).

Great location, always well-stocked. Moves pretty quickly even when at a busy time, which is a plus.

I always find what I need and much more here. I buy most of my art supplies here for a fraction of the price everywhere else.

Twice I've been to this store and they refuse to sell things on the shelf because they don't scan. I explained it's frustrating when you see other cashiers allowing the sale to process but you won't allow me to buy the exact item. Zero empathy they don't care. Cashiers are the worst here! Save the frustration and go to one of the other many much better dollar stores in town.

Dollarama big bay point barrie very clean.stocked shelves.lots of new and great quality merchandise.cashier was very pleasant.

Who doesn't love a big dollar store? !

Check out is quick and efficient!

Every time I come here never enough cashiers and when they are they leave before the line is down to a couple of people.don't leave until there's no one left.it happens all the time.

This is a nice Dollarama, it's convenient to have in the area, the staff seem fairly friendly, and it stocks what I'd expect. Have seen better layouts, although this one isn't terrible. Overall, it's a good Dollarama that doesn't make any big impressions positive or negative

Love this place! Reasonably priced and good quality for the most part. Friendly and helpful staff.

There should be an appliance section and a jewelry area. Also, a meat counter with surprise mystery meat would be a nice touch. Who doesnt love meat from a dollar store!

If your a student at St. Peters and your here during lunch you have to put your knapsack down at the front counters as they think your stealing. (This was in 2016 not sure about current yr)

Recent visited this store and found out by the manger that they do not have any policy for pricing errors. So basically its ok for them to label products at a lower price than it scans for how? This is completely wrong they might as well label everything as a dollar because when you get to the checkout it's not. Make sure you check the prices of your products as they scan. They also don't do returns or exchanges. Good luck shopping there u get what u pay for.

Got exactly what I needed and more! Would recommend to anyone who needs to spend more than a dollar!
