Dollarama

I come up to Canada a few times a year and buy candy there you can't get stateside. Best price around and I love the self checkout.

Some good deals not to happy about some things begin over $5.00 you can go to Walmart and get the same body wash for $3.00.

Prices are up as to be expected. But you really need to watch the prices as you can get some things cheaper else where. Layout is also now a little confusing still after over 2 years and it feels a lot tighter and darker.

I think I've only ever been to 1 or 2 Dollarama store's that have helpful and friendly staff! This one was not that type!

The young Manager girl is awful and rude. She honestly needs to get some re training done or be fired. Who would hire a manager like this I have no idea.

Large store. Has more of a selection than another I shop at weekly. I like this store and will be back when I am in this town again. Self checkout so waiting in line is not a concern.

It's a Dollar store really cant say much the selection is as it is dollar store stuff at dollar store prices!

Normally would be a 5 but no cashier and only self check out is horrible! Very very slow and always problems. Not a good experience anymore!

Good selection as great prices. Lots of very useful items much more affordable than other stores. Good customer service.

Tl;dr: The place is often clean, though cramped. Staff are polite, but have no idea where the hell anything is.

The pros:
Dollarama is known for its bad quality, but I have to disagree with this one. They kept everything clean and out of the way for clients, and they try really hard to keep everything clean. The staff are polite, and make you feel quite good. The last time I visited, I got to watch one of the staff members play with a toddler in the buggy.

The cons:
The staff have no idea where anything is.

Im glad we have a dollarama here locally. Always easy to get a few needed grocery store items without getting lost in the big stores. You also have cheaper brand name products and a large variety of unique items. I enjoy your craft section and silk flowers since i make cemetary stone arrangements. Cheaper and better than Michaels unless i can make it to blow out sales. But all and all a good local place to meet your needs.

Always lots of items that you didn't know you needed! Waiting time to check out is long and painful. More cashiers would be helpful!

The one time I go there, and there's a line up twelve fully loaded buggies deep, and a single cashier literally with her thumb in her mouth trying to figure out the basic functions of the till. Page after page requesting additional help on tills goes unanswered by the rest of the staff. It would have been nice to pay for my stuff inside of half an hour. Instead I just put it down and walk out. The very essence of apathy and incompetence in a retail environment. Disgusting. Zero stars if I could.

Always a great deal. Thousands of things at discount prices. Sometime a line up but quick to call back up

No parking in front of store itself but there is a lot, wide variety of items available, staff is friendly and nice, this location does accept debit Tap, as well as cheap iPhone chargers, not a bad place at all

It was fantastic. Knowledgable courteous and pleasant staff even though they were under extreme stress. Kept line moving FAST.
