Dollarama

Ok it says dollarama but where is it I just bought 7 items and cost 21.32 it's no dollarama they try to trick ya yes cheaper than grocery stores but ain't no dollar store its false advertising want to know where dollar is all chains know how to get you

The cashier never acknowledged me standing there for at least 3 minutes, scanned my items, left them spread across her counter, handed me my receipt then continued on with stacking bags behind her cash. I had to shove my arm under the plastic guard to reach for my items. Then when my senior I take out on Fridays went through same cashier, my senior asked if she could bag her few items while she reached in her purse for cash, the cashier flat out told her “NO”. Handed her the receipt and was rushing her so she could take next customer so of coarse my senior was slow trying to gather her items & put her change away. Besides all this she was the only cashier to serve? The date was Friday, September 29,2023 @ 1: 02pmPeople should go to work be thankful they have a job and do that job well. And to refuse a senior to put a few items in the bag that is terrible.under the date & time on receipt is #000979 04 & 7085. Ref#66243550 0010016450H. Invoice #7085 I am actually missing the USB cable I paid 4,25 for +0.03 cents eco fee because I must of missed grabbing it off her counter where she spread my items after paying & walked away. This is the absolute disgust this world is coming to.

Chung, said he is manager of this location, was rude and unprofessional while making cashier mistakes including refusing to return money he overcharged me for. In the end he did return most of this money (short 30 cents) and apologized for that mistake. Subsequently, he forgot to put all the items back into my bag (realized this after I got home) and when I returned to get missing item (still sitting at the cash) he kept arguing that it wasn't his fault and that I didn't didn't understand. His associate was very calm and polite and stepped in to apologize on his behalf but Chung set such an terrible example that from what I saw he should step away from interacting with the public and let the other associate manage the store.

Staff at counter #2 need to be re-educated (June 18,4: 35 PM), rude

Focus on ur job ma’am or find another place to work if you don't want to talk to customer

Well stocked. Not enough staff at the cash register. They should introduce self checkout. This Dollarama often times have stuff other Dollarama dont have

Most Dollarama stores have a problem with not enough staff at cashes. Herongate doesnt usually have this issue - the staff have eyes O.o

This is an ok dollar store. I think they are smaller than some of them and often do not have as wide a selection.

Convenient during the covid. Able to get personal hygiene items, food and some garden supplies. Everything else was taped up as " off limits " during the province wide lockdown

The Dollarama at Heron Gate shopping centre is well stocked with assorted items. I found two beautiful glasses shaped like pineapples with a lid and a flower on it and a wide straw for smoothies of different colors very beautiful. Price is extremely good.

The store is good but i have never seen the Worst staff in my life like there. 0 sense of humor

It's disgusting how selfish customers going to this place are. No masks or just pretend roll up the sweater or hoodie over the mouth. Kids maskless. Last time I go to Dollarama, this is just terrible.

So clean and organized. Only complaint is there were alot of boxes in the aisles making it hard to see some product

Great service, very polite, friendly, inclusive. Signage and protocols very well laid out and enforced.

Just left this location, cashier was not wearing a mask the entire time he served a huge lineup of customers.

Mainly because there are a bunch of rude staff! One example was; there was this guy, he was being rude to me and simply accusing me of opening stuff! I got really mad, but didn't wanna cause a scene. Also today, I had this lady telling me to move, and she was very rude as well because she got mad at me for no reason! I do NOT recommend going HERE.

I bought 2 boxes of cookies, which are priced for $1, at the cash I was billed for $1.25 for each. When I got my receipt, I looked at it and then promptly informed the cashier of the wrong billing. He told me dismissively "No refunds! Look at the receipt! ". I wasn't returning anything, I simply wanted the bill corrected!

Well maintained and operated, especially during this current pandemic (June 2020).

Absolutely amazing! As a denizen of herongate for my entire life. I can say that that this is your one stop place for almost everything. The employees are great and helpful if you can't find something. They are also the best dollarama in town. So when you make your visit here you will not be disapointed. Overall a great place! And great prices!

Très déçu de ce magasin. Aucun purell pour se nettoyer les mains à l'entrée, aucun désinfectant Aucune vérification à l'entrée. Aucun panier désinfecter. Quand même incroyable en cette période de la pandémie covid 19. Je croyais rêver. À Ottawa en plus là où il y a eu à date 263 décès. Inconcevable. Une insulte grave à l'endroit de leurs clientèles et de leurs employés.

This store doesn't follow covid19 rules. I had pointed out to customers that there were directional arrows on the isles for which way to go. The manager and a store employee were right there and did nothing. When I questioned them and asked for the manager to complain about this, I was told that I was being to aggressive, the police were being called, and I had to leave.

Why is some of your stuff more expensive than the grocery stores I know you're no longer dollar store but you can't overcharge for the same stuff that the stores have for cheaper

Due to covid a lot of things r missimg from the shelves.including water colours, not sure the reason for that.

One of the best Dollaramas in the city! We were so happy with today's visit! The staff are very sweet and the place is well stocked and very well kept.

I dont do much here its just hrab my sweetarts and my energy drink and i go. But ive had no issues so far

Was ignored when told the price was missing on an item.

Would have been more professional if she knowledge me and said we will take care of it.

She did asked if we needed a bag.

I do like shopping here but the cashier is the last impression I get and today wasn't a good one.

Love going in to grab snacks and lunch stuff. Sometimes it's very busy but always find cashiers nice and friendly.

Edit: I bought Oreo cookies, the one for $1.25. I didn't notice that one side was entirely open. I only noticed when I had reached my apartment and was unloading my groceries. The opening was from one corner to the order end and I strongly doubt that the cashier would miss it when she was swipping it. I'm never shopping here again, I be going to Walmart from now on

Store so messy, most products out of stock and employees they dont want to check it from the storage back.

It's a good little store! The staff is nice and they've worked hard on improving it by cleaning up the cluttered aisles and keeping on top of stock. Love this place for crafts, office/kitchen/cleaning supplies and much more!

We really enjoyed our trip to Dollarama. Found everything we wanted and more; clear aisles and clean store.

Met the worst cashier in the world. He seems bored at what his doing. Had my children and was yelling @ us for nothing and given us instructions as if his the DAD of my children. I told him straight forward "get loss", change JOB.
If I can 0 STAR, I would. NOT GOING THERE ANYMORE

One dollar stuff is rarely found. Most of the stuff is over one dollar. I think they have to change the name to make sense

I almost stopped going to any Dollarama store but after my visits to the ones at St. Laurent, Bank street and Donald street, I have a new affection for this chain of stores. It seems right before Christmas, all the stores got a new lease of life and started stocking really cool items. This is my favorite place to go for presents for kids parties and knickknacks.

Big store lots of selection. Only issue is long lines and there is never enough people to man the cash.

If you want essential items for you or your family or your home in cheap price then go to Dollarama.

Standard Dollarama store. Variety of items. Cheap and mostly short-lived stuff. Okay (ish) employees. Not a bad place to shop for small household items.

A lot of variety at decent prices. Since they changed the layout I find myself avoiding this store though. The isles are pointlessly long for no apparent reason and having to go all the way down an isle is a waste of time. There is also never enough employees on cash so the lines build up rather quickly.

Terribly unorganized, cardboard boxes laying on the ground in the middle of the isles, rendering the place very hazardous.
