Dollarama

This location of Dollarama is very clean and well assorted. The associates are helpful and caring too. Size of the store is reasonable in comparison to the population living in the vicinity. Parking lot in front of this place, could be a bit crowded especially during afternoon hours, which is normal for many shopping centers in GTHA.

Excellent store which is well stocked and with a pleasant staff. On my last visit the cashier made a joke about stocking on water pistols. It's a great place to shop.

Organized, neat and clean. Huge selection of items for sale from school supplies, party items, household products, food, cleaning supplies, hardware, pet products to garden items & etc. Many items are seasonal but still thanks to the merchandisers to find those great stuff. They always offer great items to customers. Staff was very friendly. Plenty parking.

One of the smaller stores i have been into recently. No line up which is always nice. Had alot of products.

Just like other Dollarama store, you can’t expect to get anything you want. But this store change seasonal products relatively fast.

This Dollarama has a very good variety of things. The checkout is a bit of an issue sometimes with long lines but the staff are always courteous and helpful!

We did not find the items we want. But it was okay just like other Dollarama. It's well organized.

Poor service. Staffs need more educations. That said great shop for white folks of low social economic

The store staff sat on the sidelines when racism happened in this particular store. Disgusting behaviour.

They need to update their hours. Got there at 729 and they wouldn’t let me in. Rudely the worker said “we close at 7: 30”. Online the hours shows 8pm.

Edit: glad they finally updated their hours but side note, I hate to make generalized statements, but I come here often and the staff aren’t that great at this dollarama. A lady at the cash today expressed annoyance with having to count our 20$ in toonies and loonies (simple math). Didn’t know I couldn’t use dollars at the dollar store.

One cash register is open n outside 20 people r waiting. Not acceptable.

May 2021 this dollar store has a very good selection of items for sale. Household products, food, cleaning supplies, hardware, pet products. It's all here. Selection can be seasonal and not every product is stocked regularly. Located in a small plaza, this is one of the anchor stores in the plaza. Parking plenty, but difficult traffic wise when everyone is leaving the plaza at the same time.

I have always gone to this Dollarama location to shop. However, today, my experience at this Dollarama location is rather disappointing.

The product I have bought from this Dollarama location was already torn opened when I got home.

The female cashier did not inform me that the package was open or broken when she scanned my items at the cash register. Now I am afraid to use the item, thinking that it might have bacteria inside the package and it is harmful to use it.

This is completely unacceptable. The female cashier was being completely unprofessional, who was chatting with another male staff member at the same time when she was scanning my items at the cash register.

It is the responsibility of the staff member to make sure the store does not sell any damaged products.

Just because it is lockdown and stay-at-home period; it does not mean the quality of the product or the quality of customer service has to go down too.

I am very disappointed about my experience at this Dollarama location.

Very rude manager. I went there to buy slippers that my brother needed for his surgery which had to be a new items to take to hospital and she refused to sell it to me saying it’s not an essential item. Obviously she doesn’t understand the meaning of essential items. If buying something to take to hospital is not considered urgent what is?

You could still enjoy xmas shopping there as there are many xmas stuff can be found. Staff are helpful and comply with cv19 regulations.

The store is smaller than normal Dollarama. But they have what I need, and they will change item by season

Ribbon I bought was terrible to work with. Sparkles were all coming off and bows looked bare afterwards! Bought the wrong kind of calendars for my elderly aunt, but couldn't exchange them because of Covid? Unopened calendars? I thought that stores changed that some time ago?

Great dollarama location! Very clean and well organized. They carry a lot of stock of a wide variety of things too. Good pricing, though you’ll need to remember not everything is $1 anymore (and hasn’t been for a long time). Staff are friendly and nice and efficient during checkout.

This place is huge but sometimes lines get too long and not enough cashiers so have to wait a while

This dollarama is one of the better ones that I have shopped in. They have alot of products and well laid out, in order to find. I can count on finding what i need here, when other dollarama's don't have in stock.

Relatively clean, has lots of products for relatively cheap prices. Only complaint is that there are no employees in aisles, so I can never find anything without searching the whole store 3 times

They have a door person that allowed me to come in with my reusable bags. While shopping and almost done a clerk asked me to leave the store, I am not allowed to have my own bags. Now Why Didnt the Door Person Tell me This. I left Both full Carts, took my bags and left.

Great prices and lots of selections, this location has more selections then other locations. Very nice staff

After a month, I went shopping with my kids from Dalarma Store because my kids were crying that we were always at home because we are in quarantine.
Unfortunately, we did not have a good shopping experience. When we returned home, we realized that our purchase was not complete in the basket, but it was calculated in the purchase list.
Unfortunately, when we went to the store, the store manager told us "we put it in your basket if you think you can go and get the item you want. "
It's not worth two and a half dollars if I want to lie if we went to the store because my kid wanted the item he had taken and it was on my shopping list.
I would be very happy if the store manager checks our purchases through the camera and sees who is right. Our purchase was between 3 and 5 hours in 17 April.

It's a dollar store conveniently located in a plaza! Imagine that. Someone at corporate had to take the time to visit and investigate the business case for locating a franchise here. Instead of operating a cost-leadership strategy on the ever thin razors edge of dollar store operations, the clerks and cashiers are sent into the trenches for minimum wages so that some marketing gorilla can give their grunt of approval to another dollar store in a plaza.

Great place for shopping. Best value for your money. Need to do arrange products. Some time products on ground. Its hard for customer to move around.

It's a very nice and tidy location located in a big and calm plaza at Bayview - Major Mackenzie intersection.
There are a lots of free parking spots available for customers.
Variety of products are great here. You can find almost everything that other Dollarama locations providing here. It has one of the most complete product variety.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The Easter products and decorations are available at this location to buy. They have a specific isle for such decorations with a great variety of eggs, trees and so on.

Easy to find you needs and go, if your in a hurry if not explore the new things you may want.in all the years I have come here never have I seen shelf’s emply

Clean, always new merchandise. Staff are friendly and efficient. I always buy way more then i need. The perfect place for nick knacks, school supplies, Holiday decorations, etc.

The store is typically well stocked, and clean. The staff on the floor have always been friendly and helpful. The cashiers are typically non-smiling fake polite drones, and too often complaining with eachother. So I docked a star. This isn't a new issue, it's been like this for the 6-7yrs I've been going to that location.

Same products as all other Dollaramas but this location seem to appreciate their customers. If I can’t find something, they will help me find it. What more could I ask for? Cheaper? I don’t think so! Lol!

It's a good store with many cheap products (gifts, stationery, candies, craft materials, etc) but it's relatively small compared to other Dollarama branches.

Gr8 experience 10 minutes got the stuff and 2min to cash out beautiful shopping no time consuming or line ups very good service.

It is no longer a dollar store, $3 or $4 now is average price, guess the share holders are happy.

Not enough staff on floor to assist customers on last visit. When we went there was 1 staff member for the floor and she was also doubling up at cash register. Limited or no selection for what I was looking for (coloured labels for moving boxes and mattress bags).
Generally more limited selection overall as compared to other dollar store type shops.
Great for certain party supplies, house wares, kids toys and if you don't mind searching entire store for items that they may or may not carry.
Lots of free parking and situated within a plaza alongside other shops and a petrol pump.
Now that I know what they have on shelves, will be back if I ever need any of those things

I find everything I need for my house and stuff for my children for a low price. It is just great.

This location does have most of the stuff the average dollar store Carries, but not all products due to the size of the store.

Please do not buy Can opener from this store. I am tired of buying and I even couldn't use ones and I tried to buy 2,3 differnet but it broke. As a Dolarama you have to pay 3 times Can opener prise. I can not keep every your bills with me, please stay beheind your produkte.

Your usual selection of dollar+ items. Usually carries more inventory than other Dollaramas in the area.

Not much on the shelves in spot, had what i wanted. Had a lot of cashiers open, was nice and quick. Clean, nice employee.
