Dollarama

6th November 2023, Monday 12pm. The girl at the cash desk need to learn her manners. Being rude and ignorant towards your own kinda people won’t make you any better than everybody else. If you wish good day to everybody else, then having even a little nice gesture towards us indians wont harm you.

I called and asked if they have an item in the store they said let me check and hanged up and never called back

I went to this location and asked for help to find a product. The young customer representative lady didnot wanted to help at all as she pretended she cannot understand what I was saying, which by the way was English language.

Worst staff imaginable. I’ve lived up the road for 8 years and the current staff is the worst it’s ever been…

These Dollaramas aren't Dollar stores anymore. There $2-$3 and $4 Dollar stores now, AND yes they will use every excuse in the book as to why they raise their prices BUT when Walmart is now cheaper, come to your own conclusions.

They told me it is closed at 8: 50. Very rude customer service, no manners to the staff. Super disappointed.

Less expensive Chinese products, everyday use variety, prices seems to be inflated due to global inflation

I walked around the store for an hour picking up stuff I wanted to purchase. I then waited in line to be served. I used my two credit cards and they both declined. I proceeded to tell the cashier that these are credit and not debit.

I then said I am going to go home and get my debit card then since their machines aren’t working. The cashier ignored me and moved to another cash register and started serving other customers. Clearly he didn’t care at all.

So I left, came back not even 10 minutes later and my bags were put away as the cashier says people say that all the time.

I get that people may say that all the time, but I was literally gone for less then 10 minutes. The store couldn’t hold my items for 10 minutes…… if they were not going to do this they could have said this so I didn’t have to waste my gas driving home, then driving back to find out my stuff got put back immediately.

Now what, I’m suppose to walk around the store for an hour again, pick up hundreds of dollars worth of items just to risk of my debit would work in this store.

Honestly other people had issues with their debit and credit too, so this is just the stores issue.

Bc the store has an issue with cashier not knowing how to do their job, doesn’t mean it should get taken out on consumers. Maybe teach your cashiers how to charge for debit and credit as it’s usually 2 diff buttons.

I then left without anything. Went home, called the store to speak to the manager. A lady picks up the phone and I asked her if she was the manager. She said yes. I asked again, are you the manager or supervisor, she said manager. So I asked, are you the store manager. (The way she answered the phone, unprofessional, could tell she wasn’t a manager). She said, so then I started to raise my voice and said are you the supervisor though, and she said yes. So I said I want to speak a manager, not a supervisor.

Honestly these staff members are careless…. What has this store come to, just to hire people for min wage and have them obviously not care about the consumers coming into the store.

I would never go back to this location again, disgusting.

For a dollar store this is the one I go to. Clean and a good selection of items of all types. Love their art supply section. And seasonal items.

The community's local dollarama. It's not as big as some of the other ones but you should be able to get the basics here.

Always busy and takes them forever to get a 2nd person on cash to speed things up. Closes at 6pm on Saturdays and 5pm on Sundays. I work in the plaza and I watch endless amounts of people walk up to the store on the weekends just to be turned away. They lose endless amounts of money by closing so ridiculously early.

I swear I have a love relationship with this peculiar Dollarama, sometimes they have awesome stuff other times I feel like yelling where are they and why are they not restocking.

Large variety of everything. Especially love their home organization section.found some gems for the kitchen sink and bathroom clutter. For some reason their Doritos stock is very scarce. I only find the orange pack not the other kinds:/

Great selection of all types of home goods and food. Easy and convenient location to get in and out quickly.

My 1 year chihuahua loves the treats and toys from Dollarama - he does not eat his food without one of the treats from there. I go there often! I love dollarama - everything is actually a dollar and very affordable and cheap unlike other bogus dollar stores that rip us off and charge a lot but their name suggests they are dollar store - they are misleading and falsely advertising their services - not good nor nice

Manager sithira working there is the worst employer. She doesn't even know how to talk with customers and employees working there. She treats her partime employees as her slaves and she pays them from her own pocket. The assistant manager lata is also same as her. They both literally scold and make the partimers cry if there is even a slight mistake. Please dollarama authority anyone reading this take actions against both of them

Staff is not helpful and very rude. Not having lot of stuff which we get at other dollarama. Store Manager is specially very rude don't know how to deal with customers.

Good dollar store but there is always a line for cash and it’s usually because there is only one cashier

I stop at this Dollarama once in a while and when I’m there everything is pretty well stocked and organized. The staff are super helpful in helping you find what you need and their customer service is great all around. Its tucked away so its usually not busy, I would recommend going here if you want to be in and out fast.

As an ex employee of this store the manager working here is soo rude with their all part time employees and also with the customers especially both the managers working there are extremely rude and don't have etiquettes to talk with customers and their employees.this dollarama have worst working environment they literally scold their employees and make them cry on every small mistakes and top of this if we complaint against them to the higher authority they make the possible hell place for that employee.please any dollarama authority reading this take necessary action ASAP as many students and part timers needs job and in future whoever gets an opportunity to work should not have to go through the insult and trauma I have faced.

Very clean and neatly Maintained dollarama.
The staff was courteous and the shelves were stocked up. Ample space between each rows!

The most unsafe dollar store I’ve been to,
It’s flooded with people, theirs no social distancing measures put in place and I seen someone walk in with no mask.

Small dollarama which means it does not have all the stock as the larger ones do. This dollarama has fast cashiers and is generally not swarming with people. Clean location with employees always restocking shelves.

They dont deserve even a star for their pathetic customer service. After multiple instances I have realised that they have filled the bottle of sanitizer with pure water for the customer who wishes to clean their hands before entering the store. Height of misery seriously. When I tried speaking to the lady over the counter she told me that they did it because too many people were using it.

You guys are already fooling canadian customers in the name of cheap chinese stuffs and now this one.can't believe this.

Sadly a number of the customers were not wearing masks. It should not fall on the young girls who work there to police this however. Should be management/supervisor at the door or on the floor monitoring those who are not complying.

Dollerama always has what I need and their prices are good. Staff there is friendly, courteous, and works very hard to keep the store organize, clean and stocked. I usually go in for a couple.things but come out with a full bag of bargains.

Dollarama was great. I'm in a electric wheelchair, the staff went out of there way to make room for me. Awesome people

Well I don’t even want to give them 1 star! All the ladies who are working in this store are extremely rude and does not know anything about customer service. It’s not one time but I have noticed multiple times that they do not care if you ask them about something. Extremely unprofessional and rude behaviour by all those women working in this store. I will be calling Dollorama customer service number to report this as being a customer I do not want to be treated in this way. If you guys do not want to work then go and sit at home but don’t show your undesirable behaviour to customers. We really need a good and considerate staff in this store.

One of the better dollarama stores in the area. Cleaner and better well kept. Also I noticed they have newer stuff that's released to dollarama stores.

Decent store in the neighborhood. They generally have all the items we expect from a dollar store

Decent dollar store for a small neighborhood. Employees are consistently restocking, items are relevant.

This location is up to par with other Dollarama stores. We are always surprised when we end up spending between $50-100 at Dollarama (which is more often than we want to admit) but we think it's a good value for storage solutions, crafts and art supplies. Our experience was diminished by the unfriendly service the last time we were there. These last two stars will get added when their professionalism improves!:)

I love this store. The staff are friendly and it is local. I can find many items that might be at a grocery store. This plaza is fabulous as well. Lots of parking. This Dollar store is clean and well organized and it the line up gets to long they always call up another cashier.

The staff over here is very rude even the manager is same. They even dont know how to talk with their owncolleagues so how can we expect good behaviour from them towards their customers.i wont recommend anyone to go here.

They show wrong attitude towards their customers and staff. They should not humiliate their own staff infront of their customers.

Very bad costumer service I went today and I got in the line the lady I think she was the manager she told me “who told you that you can bring your bike inside” I asked why can’t I than she said because she said so. I would never go there ever again so don’t waste your time here, Walmart is way better than this store.

It started out clean but now it is similar to other stores since the aisles are full of inventory.

Well just bought a snack only to realize it tasted wierd.looked at the date and it had expired 2 months ago! Gross guys. It's expected that food sold is up to date and safe to eat.

Used to be a really good store, their products arent bad but the prices just go up. For a dollar store they sell a lot of items that are 4+ dollars.

Just like any other dollarama, a bit better than some other dollar stores out there. And yes they do take Visa.

The experience was good. We had emergency needs for stockings and gift bags.glad the store was opened. The cashier was very helpful especially when the electronic payment system was not working up to par.
