Dominion House

Had lunch on the patio and enjoyed local craft beer. Patio is huge on 2 levels. Food was well prepared. It was early spring like weather and we asked the bartender to put music on. With the outdoor speaker not working, he climbed up on the roof and fixed it! Jordan the bar tender went above and beyond to welcome us. We will be back!

Before shopping my sister and I go there for lunch It is a nice place with good food, grate music and wonderful service.

This place was wonderful. I wish I took a photo of my fish n chips, the display was a 10/10 and the taste blew me out of the water (pun intended). The gentleman with black hair who served us was especially friendly.

Also, what the heck, their fries are BOMB. I would never have expected it, but this place has one of the best fries I've ever had. Good job everyone!

Awesome place, pool table, Foosball table, live bands. Have a great outdoor patio with epic service.

Don't understand the "charm" of this place. The floors are sticky. The parking lot is a mess. The walls are dirty. Lots of people love going to this place, which I totally don't understand. Give me a clean place that doesn't smell over this old classic bar that nostalgia makes us believe it's still a great place when it needs a makeover and clean up.

The staff so are kind and friendly and the drink selection is fantastic.

The events that they host are so fantastic and I really enjoy the community around the DH that show up for music, sports and a good time.

This is a great place to go if you want a great drinks, good atmosphere and marvelous entertainment!

Fries were thick cut.my favorite.
Chicken Parm Sandwich looked really good.
And the Hot Dog was Topped with all sorts of goodies.
Will take the wife there for some live music.

Curious to know why/how the DH is allowing unvaccinated patrons to regularly visit the bar? A few well-documented anti-vaxxers are hanging out there, and as someone concerned about my health, I'd like to know how this is happening. Is the DH turning a blind eye and violating public health policy? Are the anti-vax patrons providing fraudulent vaccine info? Any way you look at it, the DH is failing their public health obligations.

One of the oldest running taverns in Canada! Huge respect to the staff for making every visit a great time and the kitchen staff aswell?

Liked the vibe of this place, located in sandwich and doesn't get many visitors during the day. The food is alright. But we visited with friends and its a nice place to hangout.

Great food! Definitely getting more than you would expect for the price! My husband got the fish and chips and the presentation always beautiful as well as with my beef taquitos! We even had live music from Jake to enjoy while we ate our meal. A great experience and definitely looking forward to our next visit!

This place is the bee's knees. You walk in, and you're greeted with this awesome old school bar complete with brass rails and friendly staff!
The DH is an institution and you should make yourself a part of it.

This place has the best poutine in the whole city better then frenchy's and also better then Simon's poutinery if your looking for a good poutine come here

Great menu, the pulled pork sandwich is delicious. The atmosphere is great, all the staff I've encountered have been very kind.

Stopped in for a bite to eat. The poutine was smothered in graveyard, like cereal in milk, and lots of cheesy curds.so filling. And my hubby had a couple dogs.chili and the New York. Was nice

There is a reason the DH has been around longer than anyone reading this has been alive. The atmosphere is great. Drinks are stiff. Food is delicious.and Service is incredible.

Gotta hope the new "patio" in the yard is a permanent thing! Even after Cv-19 is done

Class, character, draught, live music, shows, food, sports, volleyball. This place literally has it all and more. There's so much charm and warmth that comes from every visit, there's no questioning the longevity and resilience of the Dominion House.

A relic of windsors historic sandwhich town, so much history in one little building, the bartenders and waitresses are all insanely nice and always keeping your glasses full, and the drink prices are very fair.ive never tried the food though

GREAT venue! Food coming out looked D-lish. Staff is ALWAYS friendly. All In all, an awesome place to grab some local bevys and check out live shows. STRAIGHT VINTAGE VIBE! Best spot in Sandwich Towne.
Rob is easily the coolest bartender in the City.

I don't like paying to come in and I don't want to hear the band I just want a drink. So now I go to other places that don't ask for for money to get in

Its was great. Our club went for for our monthly eat night. We got there before we were supposed to and still handle our. Great service and great food.

Tuesday night music club is very welcoming and a great time for people that know how to play an instrument and those that don't

Good food, good drinks, good atmosphere. I popped by with a group of friends for a trivia night on a Saturday. We had fun. I ordered the 1lb of wings with the guiness bbq sauce and some sweet potato fries. I'd normally like more sauce but other than that it was all really great and the dip for the fries was tasty too. They had a live band warming up, but we needed up leaving as more ppl were coming in, presumably for music and drinks.

One of the oldest bars in Windsor! Comes with the regular crowd but brings in new faces with live tunes and all you can eat wings!

The Dominion house is one of the oldest establishments in the city of Windsor, if not in the province of Ontario. The Dynamics of the house is very local. A lot of friends and family come to listen and show support to local bands. We had an excellent time tonight and thoroughly enjoyed the bands and had a brief connection with old friends. A great place to connect and a great place to have a drink and socialize

Good service and generally above average pub food. The bar is always friendly and quick, and they keep several craft beers on top as well as your regular domestics.

It's one of the oldest continuously operating pubs in Ontario. With layers of history and atmosphere it remains a great place to grab a drink or a bite to eat, catch some live music or to sit out on the patio. It's very welcoming and it's not hard to understand why people have been going there for close to 200 years.

Always the best! Even if you don't play or sing, I strongly suggest coming out and seeing Windsors best talent put together random bands and rock it like it was the radio!

I love this place and you should look into it's history an if u can ask to see the up an basement u will be amazed.

Our waiteer today/ night was great! I mived from Hamilton to windsor a few months ago n will only go there for a few beers! Relaxing place n have no worries!
