My order was cancelled on my DEBIT card, so no payment issues, and I called to inquire why. Man on phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. He hung up on me, when I was trying to get clarification on a question. EXTREMELY unprofessional and just a lack of human decency in general. I was told that my entire apartment building with at least 1,000 residents is blacklisted according to the worker on the phone who HUNG UP ON ME. I just wanted clarification and it is his job to answer my questions, and attempt to help me, as a customer, as his job in CUSTOMER SERVICE. He was extremely rude and sounded annoyed and that he could not be bothered to help customers. I am disgusted. I advise anyone to go to different pizza brands or different dominoes locations. The Friel dominoes is NOT it.
Just ordered pizza from this location last night, one of the best pizza from dominos of so far. I have tried from so many locations of dominos but this one they nailed it, keep up the good work team
Had the carryout order first time at this store this afternoon, one of your staffs was so kind and patient make sure I got my pizza points, if the store manager sees this comment, plzzzz raise her salary! (screaming) (shake your shoulder)
Since long time I have not received an amazing pizza with a care and excellent service. Special thanks to Malak. Recommend this branch. Good job everyone and once again Malak you deserve all the best.
The pizza was delicious. Used the app to order, gave me some nice coupons was able to get loafs, a medium veggie pizza and 3 delicious brownie filed lava cakes for about 31 bucks. Amazing price and I love the TV telling you when your order is gonna be ready. So the food was nice fresh and hot and ready within 13 min.
The service was amazing. Malak was amazing. She helped us and she explained all different types of pizzas. She’s a hard working women! She deserves a raise too!
We’ll done and again thank you for your great service
I had a negative experience that was in part my fault. I ordered on the app and forgot to change the address to my new apartment. I'm in centretown and was informed by who I presume was the manager that it was "illegal" to deliver to me because I am not in the downtown core.
The location at Friel is only 1.1km from my home. Unfortunately the manager was a little short with me and I wasn't offered a in store pickup option or maybe an address near me I could have walked to. This meant that my already cooked food presumably went to waste. A shame that this technicality for delivery areas results in a frustrating experience for the customer.
I was told my total was $16.99 with taxes and everything, with a $5 coupon applied, when delivery showed up it was $23, and the second employee i spoke to as driver was waiting, all of a sudden doesn't know who i originally spoke to who applied the coupon, so the deceived and lied, and tried to cover it up, this place is history, believe all the bad reviews, like i should've, cause they're true, you've been warned!
Literally made me cry. I had a hard day and ordered pizza as a comfort food. When I got it I noticed there was no sauce on it just cheese so I called to see if they'd mixed up the order or something. The woman on the phone was incredibly aggressive and condescending towards me. She explained multiple time how pizza worked to me: they start with dough, then SAUCE then cheese. She also claimed it was impossible for it not to have sauce because then the cheese 'wouldn't stick' which just makes no sense. After staying silent through several minutes of this I said thank you, hung up and started crying.
Quality is terrible, the owner (Fadi) is a big scammer don’t ever work their, he claims to offer full time and only gives you 20-25 hours for 2 weeks, they also scam you for the extra 10-15 mins per shift that you stay later on. When exposed he threatens to call the police, he’s a really terrible franchisee owner, NEVER work for him or order his food, he tells his workers to go cheap on the toppings aswell.
Quick & efficient always fresh, and friendly staff. Definitely a favourite out of the neighbourhood fast options for pizza. Only had one bad experience and the management corrected it. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t speak to the other bad reviews on here, I would definitely take this over the pizza place on Rideau which is always hectic, serves undercooked pizza and has a very rude staff. Imagine if had dominoes had an equal dip game.
After explaining, in person, for 10 minutes I do not want pepperoni I get the pie home and it of course has tons of pepperoni. I drove back and the manager essentially laughs at me and says it’s no big deal they will make a new one. No apology and no offer to do anything to make it better. The laughing is a nice touch. Will not be back.
This location of Domino's is bad. Ordered 3 medium pizzas yesterday, all 3 with extra cheese and they had barely any cheese at all. Also the amount of toppings was also not as much as other locations. I was forced by Domino's website to order from this location. They should allow customers to pick other locations close by.
I got the medium chicken taco pizza. The pizza was big, however the dough was not really cooked all the way through. The price was $12.99 for this size (carry-out).
I've been going to Dominos for years. This location cheaps out on toppings and rarely ever runs any sort of promotions. You are better off of going to the bank street location where they actually run those 50% promotions once a week.
While this location no longer offers curbside pickup, all safety protocols are being followed. Sanitizer is available, signage is visible, all employees are wearing masks, and seating has been made inaccessible. Only one entrance/exit is accessible, but flow is not impeded as customers only spend a few minutes here to pickup their takeout orders.
COVID-Safe Ottawa reviews local business' compliance with recommended COVID safety protocols in order to help Ottawa find safe places to shop.
I picked up a few pizzas and taste and service was excellent. The location is super clean and the staff are super friendly. I would highly recommend this location when you are in the downtown core. Keep up the great work and service.
This is the best Domino's pizza I have been to the manager Stefan what's more than Accommodating with my order and gave me and my team a great deal for lunch.
I ordered my pizza and wings for delivery and a gentleman by the name Tyler Roy was more than helpful. He was patient and was able to get us a good deal. Service was quick and the wait time was reasonable.
A two because the pizza is usually good but I dont like when employees steal from me. Gave a $20 bill, $14.68 order, and got $4.60 back. I should have received $5.30. Employee apologized but then told me that the computer gets it wrong sometime. So that leaves 3 possibilities: 1. Domino's pizza chain's computer system steals from people. (I hope this is unlikely) 2. The cashier attempted to steal from me. (Likely) 3. The person they employ as cashier cannot do math and wouldnt own up to it. (Easy coin math, average unlikely)
Staff was incredibly helpful in these crazy times that we are going through Ordered from here twice And ate my pizza on the street in my car the second time Just to hold a vibe in the area Before i returned back to my home city 4 hours away
Our go-to nearby pizza place for delivery. Products can sometimes be hit or miss (under/over-cooked), but overall good value for price and very quick delivery
I ordered a pizza with some toppings, plus extra cheese and extra sauce because they barely use any for a regular pizza. They gave me a with very little topping.the cheese barely existed. And so much sauce that everything on top slid off the pizza and gathered on one side in the box. The pizza is completely inedible with so much sauce! Absolutely never ordering from dominos again.
Driver's there are completely lost in space I tell you. Never used to have a problem but for the past 6 months or so. Absolute garbage. I'm done with Dominoes!
This location ALWAYS gets your order wrong. I ordered a pizza a few weeks ago with chicken, Alfredo sauce and pineapples, and they forgot pineapples. Before that I ordered one with sausage and they gave me chicken. Just yesterday I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and instead I get peppers. How do you mess up a two topping pizza? Once they didn't even cut the pizza. Just go to the Pizza Pizza a block away instead
Will NEVER order from this location again. Third time ordering, third time receiving half my order. How do you charge a 13 year old $41 for one pizza? ! And when I called to have the issue resolved it was one excuse after another. Management is garbage! Coming from someone who works in the restaurant business this is by far the worst service I've ever received and their problem solving skills are at that of a 2 year old.
Worst service ever! Order over the phone so i dont have to wait ordered a 3 topping small pizza for $9.99 a promo, (brooklynn style with extra brooklyn pepperoni) (which always comes as thin crust since that's litterally the type of pizza it is) to pick it up drive home and fine it be thick crust.obviously displeased i called the store to see if i could bring it back and get the pizza i ordered.to be put on hold then was then transferred to the manager to like be-little me based on my order history to basically say im wrong and never ordered it that was before (which i have a multiple locations including there's before) i am not impressed.for a pizza the size of a plate for almost $12.00 i would hope it be o ordered and not what they want to give me! Wont be giving them my money again!
I'm sure the new location is nice, but the owner cannot call back a customer who had encountered an incident in the Cumberland location. 1 star til this is resolved. I used to eat inside, but will now order from Gatineau and have yummy pizza delivered from St Joseph blvd
The food was ok but the in store experience could not be worse. I walked in and looked around the store to find there was no menu above the cash or on the wall. I asked some kid behind the counter (who was wearing shorts in December?) if I could have a look at a menu and he replied "We don't have one" and just walked away. Furniture was strewn everywhere, there was a sign outside that said "Coming soon" and there were other people there that looked pretty lost too. Like honestly, who's managing this place?
