A great place to go in Toronto. Mainly there is the surrounding park land. They also have some covered areas for festivals and farmers markets. A fun place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Very beautiful park in middle of city. You cant imagine there would be such a remote place just besides a highway. You can also continue your walk toward mount pleasant cemetery if you’d like to walk more

This is a hidden gem in Toronto. Once in the park it seems we have reached the country side. Fall is the best time with the riot of colors. Great place for all ages. Must visit if you live or visiting Toronto.

This is one of my favourite parks in the city! I first went there many years ago before the buildings were restored as part of a field trip. I learned about the wonderful geological features, like fossils of trilobites and even a giant beaver! However, the beautiful wetlands were what captured my heart. It’s so amazing to see wildlife like snapping turtles and blue herons in the city! I highly recommend hiking up to the lookout, especially in autumn to take in all the glorious colours.

Lots of parking. Nice and quiet park. Gentle slops and easy to walk. Great areas for neat brick back drop pictures. Dog friendly.

Had an amazing walk and bike through Brick Works with my Aunt.
Friendly environment, love the coffee shop!

Loved walking the paths saying hello to friendly people. After an hour I felt the city life, the stress, the traffic, the rushing strangers lift away to be replaced by songs of birds, wide open vistas of the sky, the rustling and shimmering of trees and brushes and an inner experience of calm.go and forests bathe today.

A very huge park with awesome trails. Especially when the time of autumn fall this park is a heaven. Get your DSLRs or smart phones with batteries loaded to click those magnificent scenery. I just overwhelmed by the beauty of the fall colours and enjoyed a lot.

The park starts at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery and leads to the Brickwork.
In recent years, the path was expanded and widen.
The "best" parts are next to the ponds near the Brickwork factory where they also hold a weekly farmers' market every Saturday (not in wunter).
One can park there ($6 for 2 hours and $24 for 24 hours). The very clean public washrooms are there.
The ponds have water lilies, turtles and some fish and the walkway is very leveled and even suitable for people in wheelchairs.
At the Brickwork, they hold weekly Saturdays' farmers market and there is a restaurant/coffees hop as well.
Please also see additional photos that I posted under the Evergreen Brickwork heading.

What a hidden gem right in the middle of Toronto! Just a 10 to 15 min drive from the downtown core. Great to just go for some relaxation or even for a jog/bike ride.

It’s especially beautiful in the fall.

Due to COVID, the food trucks and stalls are not there but that is a great end to a long walk.

For parking, go to Evergreen Brick Works or 550 Bayview Avenue Parking Lot.

One of the most fascinating and dazzling park/trail in the heart of downtown. The trail is quite long that it took us around more than an hour to go around it from central parking area on Bayview side and came back to the same spot. Great place for bringing kids and family to spend quality time with them. Thinking to take a bicycle for a quick long ride next time. Really loved it with the leaves shedding from the trees and all the changing colors making it more beautiful.

It's the prime location for all the photographers who love to capture the downtown skyline esp the CN tower from the top. Worth going in the park and great work out to be honest.

It's hard to believe you are still in Toronto when you visit this terrific park. It's a beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature and wildlife - especially during the fall. We even spotted a beaver on our walk today!

Take the trail to meet up with the Beltline, which then leads you to Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

You can literally walk for miles and miles in Toronto's interconnected ravine system.

Une très belle promenade à voir des vieilles tortues avec pleins d'algues sur elles tellement qu'elles sont vieilles. C'était parfait!

Nice nature-y place accessible from midtown and downtown. Quite beautiful, and a remarkable story of nature reclamation. Not too much to do, however, but great for a nature walk

A lovely place to walk with the family. Gets super busy with the weekend market so go early. Kids love the experiential outdoor area. Visit all year round, there is always something to do. The skating is gorgeous and there are outdoor fire pits for smores. It's one of our favorite places in the city.

Beautiful ponds within the city. Loved the turtles. When we came, they were still digging up some ground on the North end. I'd expect this to be even nicer in years to come.

Very nice park with beautiful views of the CN tower, there is a coffee shop onsite and washrooms, only downside it gets a little too busy on the weekends.

This park is so close to the city and very easy to get to. The park has numerous little trails and walkways surrounded by trees and ponds.
A nice place to unwind when you want a change from city life for a little bit.

Love this place for supplying local plants and flowers. Easy to get to by car. And for those who like to walk there are many maintained city trails that lead you here. I like the hike from st.clair and yonge ravine to the brick works. Something for the kids is the pond at the back filled with catfish/bulkheads

Beautiful trail that extends from the heart of the downtown core, out to where you don’t even realize you are in a large city!
I have taken this path a few times now via bike or longboard, and every time have a blast. The trail is never overwhelmingly busy, and is beautiful at all hours of the day (bring a flashlight at night).
I have met countless friendly people exploring these trails, the community is very welcoming and helpful in case you lose track of where you are.
There are multiple signs at each fork in the path, that help notify you how far along you are on the trail, distance remaining and other paths available.
If you haven’t checked these out, I highly recommend them. Sometimes you can even see people canoeing down the river alongside, or classes being held near the fields. It is a great weekend escape from all of the honking and sirens in the downtown core.

Nature at its most natural right in the city. Try to take transit or the Brickworks shuttle or bike to enjoy it. Slow down and be quiet and wait for natural moments to happen. Then you might see turtles, rabbits, frogs and butterflies.

Gem in the city. Nice spot or just to hang out during the week or the weekend. Nice little trail with a nice view. Lots of events during the summer, just be on the lookout on their website to see which event is happening that weekend. I always like to come to this place nice and early, one to get parking spot and just enjoy this place before it gets crowded. This is also accessible by bus via Broadview Station. There's a free shuttle that will take you to Evergreen Brickworks. Which is nice for those who take public transit.

Awesome park so close to the city. Really makes you feel like you've escaped to the wild - although selfie taking individuals really need to be more considerate of others who just want to enjoy the tranquility.

The trail in the back is a very walk on very nice day!

The parking meters need some work.

One of my favorite spots to visit. A nice walk from sherbourne station or there is a shuttle that operates to Broadview station on some days. Beautiful views and greenspace near the city! Cafe Belong is great for brunch or the market with food vendors is usually on Saturdays, great if you are able to get there early to mid day. There are areas for youngsters to learn and explore. I love weekend visits to Brickworks!

Great spot for a morning run or walk. Very beautiful! Also Outward Bound training is held here. I've attended both the dog sledding and Portage trip. So much fun! Brick works also have a high ropes apparatus and many community events and they are focused on a greener future. This is a great organization.
13 June 2019 17:59
Spring migration is a busy time at Brickworks! Hawks fighting, turtles basking, Beavers beaving. Everyone and their dog is out for a walk.
29 May 2019 7:05
One of the best in the city. Quite versatile, paid parking, well connected to running, cycling and public transit. Excellent for all ages. Saturday morning they host a farmer's market. EV charging also available.
20 May 2019 4:11
Great place to walk around. Parking isn't free but getting into the park is. There are also restaurants and a gift shop supermarket at the front.

Got a parking ticket 1 minute after parking, while paying for the parking!
This parking official needs to be sacked!
