Just got delivery of a my new vehicle from Henry Kwok and it was a truly wonderful experience.

I’ve been to other dealerships and received lack lustre customer service, however this was not the case at Don Valley Hyundai.

The entire process from start to finish was done exceptionally by Henry, he was always available via text whenever I had a question and he was extremely patient and knowledgeable.

He also went out of his way to accommodate my needs and went in on his off day to make it work for me.

I highly recommend this dealership, thank you Henry!

Order a hybrid car in march, specifically asked the sales (Spencer) when would the car arrived because I don’t want it too soon, he said at least a year if it comes early I can’t cancel it with the deposit back it’s not a problem, car arrived in 3 month I said I d like to cancel it, left him voicemails etc, no replies had to call the manager then finally got a replying saying he will refund it, he sent me a email asking for my credit card number for the refund, sent him the info waited 10 days didn’t see the refund, sent him another email for the status, no reply. Waited another week, I called no answer or reply.

Bought my first ever new car from Don Valley North Hyundai last week. From booking the first appointment to picking up my car Spencer and the rest of the Hyundai team made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. There was a slight hiccup when picking up the car as we agreed to have new plates put on for pickup, but unfortunately there were no new plates. Despite this, I am very happy to have purchased from this dealer and would definitely recommend them to my family and friends!

I bought my 2020 sonata 4 dr 1.6 T ultimate from don valley Hyundai. Along with the car i also bought Hyundai extended warranty (cost -2399$ + tax) and sym tech tire and road hazard protection (cost 599$ + tax) tires and rims (cost-2399$+ tax). I have attached the sale receipt along with this review. 2 monts after purchase the car started to shake. I called don valley, (odometer reading-11000km) i was told it was due to winter. Waited till the end of winter for the car to be examined by another dealership as i live in wawa, On and cannot make it 1500 km to reach don valley. I was told that it was due to roters. I called don valley, they said they can’t do anything about it. I changed the roters with the help of Sudbury hyundai. The car was still shaking and was diagnosed due to bad rims and tire that was sold to me.
I made calls don valley and was asked to come to don valley assuring me that the rims and tires will be replaced. I took my appointment, my appointment was made to phone with sales person SAM ABDUL HAZN. I was not given a specific time. However i drove 1500 km overnight and reached donvalley next morning, and their service manager refused to look at my car saying i was 10 minutes late. After begging them for hours to take a look at the car they checked it, made me sit at the dealership from 9: 30 am till 5 pm, and just checked ny wheel alignment (hyundai uses laser systems to check wheel alignment and it will only take 10-15mins to be done). I specifically told the service technician of the bend in rim and they need to take a picture of the tire for claiming my warranty. Syntech tire warranty has a close saying the replacement to be made only through selling dealership, which is why i went to don valley after multiple bad experiences. Once i was there they pushed me around so much, never looked athe tires, inspected an issue that i never complained about and was told there is nothing wrong with the car and am lying. I have vedio proof of my odometer reading and the car shaking to prove I wasn’t. I tried to reach out to their manager and he was so rude to me that when i raised my concerns about the service department, he asked me to get out. His defence on why my car shakes at 113 km/hr was that and i quote “its illegal to drive your car above 110km/hr in canada), and I should not do it. I am still facing this issue with the car. I am uploading the pictures of the faulty tires and rims they sold me. I have also asked for Gap insurance when I bought the car and was made to leave with the car saying that it was already included in vehi Price. Because i was new to canada and a foreign citizen i didn’t knew the system and I believed them. I recently found out that it was not included, when i call the salesman SAM ABDUL HAZN he refuses to pick calls and never responded to my texts. Please don’t buy your car from them. Really really bad service

My first try with Hyundai was not very impressive a few years ago and I finally went with my lovely Lexus.
I used to VIP customer service from Lexus and MB, but this time the Genesis changed my mind, their cars are far above traditional premium cars. In compare with my other car MB GLC300, you can have it with less budget and get much more luxuries car,
Their price is fix no dealer negotiation and their interest rate was also higher than other competitors, but at the end of the day the monthly payment and the car style convince me to go for Genesis, my Ex-car as I told was RX350L which sadly has been stolen infront of my eyes, shame on Lexus because of poor security system, but this Genesis GV80 let me put Lexus memories behind.
I say it is not matured 100% yet and they need work on more details but it is good enough to go for it for the rest of your life.
The dealership experience was exceptional, My Rep name was Terisha, a sweet young girl which was not pushy like other dealers and let us come back a few times to test drive all their cars one by one and helped us to make our final decision (honestly it was hard as all their cars were good).
I took a risk to go with Genesis instead of Volvo, Audi or MB but I am so happy by now when I compare this car with my MBGLC300, more roomier, more luxurious, and much Cheaper. The staff were really down to earth even their financial manager was really polite and kind, treated us like a king, lol
I am sure you will hear much more from this new borned brand in next couple of years.

I worked with Garene Asmarian to buy a pre-owned vehicle. He was clear, honest and was like dealing with an open book about the vehicle. He didn't try to play with numbers, he was just clear about what could and couldn't be done as far as price. However, he was well informed about the vehicle and what had been done to it. He was quick to answer or respond and was always polite and friendly. He initially dealt with my brother who lives in Toronto as I live in Ottawa. My brother used to sell cars, new and used, for several years and was really impressed with Garene's approach and professionalism.
Susan Su, the financial services manager, was also a pleasure to deal with. Very clear and professional. She wasn't too pushy with the sales of extra options. She was sure to be very clear about certain advantages that were being declined by not opting for certain extras, but not pushy.
I would definitely recommend this dealership based upon my experience.
Oh, and I got a great vehicle at a great price too.

I have had great experiences with Jonathan Park. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicles he is selling and he is patient, not pushy. For months we were looking for our first family car (being new immigrants) that would fit our budget and to be honest in the beginning of our search Hyundai was not one of our first choices but as of now I am so glad that we spoke to Daniel Shin at the dealership and he was very professional in closing the deal. We test drove the Santefe 2019 and completely enjoyed the drive and the SUV is packed with features. Luckily for us the dealership was celebrating their 10 year anniversary so to sweeten the deal a little bit more Daniel also to our delightful surprise gave us a 55inch Sharp TV which was the cherry on the cake. So we drove out not only feeling good but speechless!
We had a great experience with Daniel and the dealership and hopefully they continue to provide the same customer service and experience to me in future and others always. Kudos!

I went to Don Valley North Hyundai, on Tue Oct 30,2018 to put on winter tires and was very impressed by the service. It being my first time there and being someone who works in a customer service environment, it was the best service I have seen and received. What struck me was all the staff that I observed while waiting in the lounge were friendly, polite, corteuos and seemed to like what they do. They talked nicely to all customers even when I noticed one lady who was upset about something. The guys at the information area were calm and talked to her nicely. By the time she left, she was smiling. I must say this was one dealership I'm certain to work with going forward. My day was made and have already started sharing my experience with friends and family. Elaine at reception was also great with her welcoming and friendly personality. I have a 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe XL which is literally the most expensive SUV Hyundai sells. Additionally I purchased the warranty mainly because it covers rust proofing. A few weeks ago I noticed an irregular sound coming from the back of the car, so I went on DV Hyundai’s website to make an appointment (I work near by) made one for Wednesday (three days later) and got a confirmation, got to my appointment on Wednesday and delt with the girl at the front counter, I think her name is Amy literally the most condescending human I have ever met, spoke to me like I’m an idiot. I kept my cool and rebooked for the next day. According to her the online system doesn’t work (yet I’m the idiot ‍️) fast forward to Thursday I came early dropped my car off early for an 8: 50 appointment. I was told I would get a call once the diagnostic is complete (this should take an hour) finally at 11 over three hours later I called them to find out what was going on and spoke to my advisor Andre, a nice guy but he must also think I’m stupid, told me the report JUST came back, and there was some warranty issue with the rear differential, and the car is unsafe to drive. I said no problem I’ll come pick up the rental at 3pm. Andre said he doesn’t think I’ll get one but will speak to his manager and call me back (I hate promises people can’t keep) I had a busy day and around 2: 30 I realized I haven’t gotten a call back. So I called again and was told there would be no car to give me and the repair will likely take 2-3 weeks due to aback ordered part. I told Andre to go talk to someone who can make a decision and get me a car, I’ll expect a call back in 10 minute I live an hour away and I need to pick up my kids. He said ok.again no call back. I got a friend to drive my to Hyundai and went to Andre who again said there is no car to give and he cannot authorize a rental (let me remind everyone again I had PURCHASED the extended warranty which GUARANTEES me a rental car) by this point I was extremely irritated and annoyed as I’m sure anyone can imagine. I at that point gave Andre two options 1. Get me his manager, or his managers manager or the owner of the location 2. Give me a document stating my car is unsafe to drive but they were refusing to give me a rental and I would take it to another dealer which can give me a rental. I gave him 10 minute to do so before I called the ombudsman. Behold 9 minute later I got the Manager Cato I believe was his name who was really apologetic and already had enterprise on there way to pick me up. (Cato is the best part of this service experience) after my rental was sorted out I came back to get my stuff I went back and told Andre to look at anither problem I was having because the car was going to be with them for so long. He said no problem and he would call me Tuesday with an update on the timelines. Come Tuesday again the experience was consistent I got no phone call. I finally called back on Wednesday and was told by Andre he has good news and the part might be here already, he would call me back in about 30 minutes, guess what! No phone call. Thursday I get a call from his peer stating the car is tested and repaired ready for pick up. (One week later guess the back ordered part mysteriously appeared two weeks ahead of schedule.like because they were paying $30 a day for my rental) I asked about the back seat and was told there’s no notes but if I told Andre he would have taken care of it. Finally on Friday I went to pick up my car, and the back seat was obviously not repaired, and I was told it’s because he was off on thursday. Soooo he pretty much didn’t care enough to fix my concerns. Which means I need to make another accommodation to have this issue repaired. Lastly the paperwork wasn’t ready and I was told I would get it emailed to me, yet I have not gotten anything. This has by far been a terrible experience and the service department can maintain there status as the industry scum. Andre is a nice guy but his word has zero value, a terrible terrible experience

We picked up our 2019 Santa Fe with extended warranty today. Lillian Chen was the best car sales I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve bought multiple cars in the past. Her attentive service, very friendly and funny nature, and diligent work was the key factor in us making the decision to buy the car within 24 hours (normally it would have taken us weeks). She made sure we were well aware of what was going on at all times, and even took the time to walk us through every single one of the car’s features upon delivery. Very very well done, highly recommended and would go back to Lillian next time!

I went in today for a check engine light and they tried their best to not do the warranty work even though I confirmed with them before if its covered under warranty or not and they said yes. Its not their first doing this to me, both my parents and I came here for a lot of problems on the car (3 different cars) and they always come up with different excuses to not do the warranty work and today they kicked me out and told me to never come back here because they only give service to their "guests". I really wouldnt recommend this dealer for any service or any warranty works as they are only nice when they wanna sell you a car.

My first time at DVN Hyundai and happy to say I’ve already recommended this dealership to several friends and family. Jonathan is an amazing sales representative that took his time to make sure I had absolutely everything that I need and was very patient with me and my mother. I am a student that like many other students, was on the search for an affordable and efficient car (not to mention, my very first car) and this seemed almost impossible until I arrived at DVN Hyundai. They shuffled numbers around until we were able to negotiate the perfect price for me that I could not turn down! I am more than satisfied with my overall experience at this dealership. All the staff were so kind, welcoming and most importantly, attentive to our needs.

Bonus, they even surprised me with a huge red bow on top of my new car when I came to pick it up! (A mini photo shoot took place shortly after.) Very sweet and thoughtful.

I have grown up and worked in the auto industry my entire life and I have never had such a great experience as I did at DVNH. It was my first time purchasing a car from a dealer and not only did Lillian make the process stress free but there was also ZERO pressure of any kind and I never felt like I was being "sold" into buying anything.

There was a delay in the window tinting and Lillian worked with the sales manager to get me a dealer car for 3 days so I wouldn't have to get a ride from a friend. She was also wonderful including two different friends I brought in the sales process and even remembered both of their names!

I would highly recommend DVNH to anyone! Thank you!

Few weeks ago something flew over from side of the highway and hit my santa fe sports 2.0T that i purchased from dvn hyundai under my company with the extended top of the line premium warranty that i paid appx $3000 extra for and damaged my bumper and also one of the pieces flew and hit my hood and chipped the paint on it.now i have contacted Carson at the service centre to see if any of that was covered under warranty. He told me that none of that is covered under warranty. So i learned that this warranty that i paid extra for is a complete hoax.now i called the insurance company and they said they would pay for the damages and put me on 0% fault.now i told the adjuster and the appraiser that i want it fix where i bought it from which was at dvn hyundai, and the appraiser has sent them the approval with the quote.i have waited few days to see if somebody would call me to make an appointment for repairs as i was told by the appraiser but nobody did, so i called them and talked to HALEN at the body shop and she said some lady named victoria is handling my case and was out for training and would call me back when she is back.its been almost 2 weeks guys nobody called me.i understand if you are busy and may be waiting on parts.at least give me a call and let me know to when i expect my suv to be fixed.
