Initially to be fair, these guys were completely fine. I asked them for a quote on commercial liability/professional liability for our business, and a quote was provided in a reasonable time frame.

We needed a quote change as a few details about our business was different to what they assumed, and then on the re-quote we got nothing back out of nowhere. I politely followed up with the agent once a week for a month, even called their reception and asked if I can be just assigned a different agent as that one was clearly too busy. I even emailed another agent there asking if they could take over our file - got nothing back. It was really odd because they quoted us quite quickly the first time around - then out of nowhere wouldn't even call us back. We're a growing company so they missed out on a nice little chunk of inbound business.

I wouldn't go with them personally - they seem completely disorganized and don't have good internal processes. Poor customer service.

It has been ordeal after ordeal with this company. I added a second car to my policy and specifically asked that I only wanted fire and theft on one of the vehicles and comprehensive on the other (summer car and winter car). They charged me for full coverage on both and it took months of fighting with them to get my refund. I then wanted to switch brokers because my premium jumped up by almost $100 per month. I found a better price and sent in my cancellation request. About 30mins later i recieved a call from Donovan telling me that they could get me this incredible rate because one of my accidents drops off my record the day after my renewal date. I said great I'll stay and let's do that. The very next day I got a call from Donovan saying that they just missed the 2 tickets that I have and my rate would be back back where it was originally. Essentially double what I was quoted the day before.

I find that they are unprofessional and disorganized. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for insurance.

Steve was great to deal with and always responded quickly and courteously to my emails. He was very patient with all of my questions and walked me through the whole process. All while providing the best insurance price out of many different quotes I received.

Been with them for several years, many brokers come and go. Terrible customer service. On 2 occasion I had multiple NSF due to the lack of communication from them. Get told new payments would start in June, yet the new payments came out in May with out my knowledge. They admit to the miscommunication to me but will not offer any solutions or offer to cover NSF’s. Stay away from them unless you want the same thing to happen to you. They never call back and always have a laim reason they can’t call, ohh sorry I’m too busy. Not your customers fault you guys can’t keep your stuff in order.
