Some kids playing pranks kicked our side door in and damaged the frame. Our door couldn't close. We didn't think anyone would come out on Dec 31st but we decided to call Doors on the Go and we're sure glad we did. Norman came out promptly and replaced the broken frame with a piece of heavy duty steel. He did a fantastic job, very clean and detail oriented. The door is now extremely secure! He was also kind enough to make adjustments to our other door making it more secure as well. Don't waste your time and energy dealing with other companies, call Doors on the Go. Originally hard to get appointment with Tony, I guess with good reason given all the good reviews. However it was definitely worth being a little patient as he sent Norman the next day who provided excellent service and advice. Door on the go is truly the best!

I called them on weekend for some issues and concerns we had for our house door, Tony and Norman provided fast and effective service. We would highly recommend them for their quality work and great value.

Mr. Norman did a great job and was very courteous.
He went out of his way to fix the doorknob that wasn't functioning well too.

Tony did a first-class job repairing poorly installed external french-doors (for a balcony). There were a number of problems with the install that he was able to identify immediately and make all necessary corrections (mainly water leaking issues). To this day there has not been a problem with the door and I'm extremely happy with the results. Tony was also very helpful at explaining things that are not common knowledge to the home owner, and provided insight on how to properly care for and operate the door to limit any long-term damage. I will be calling him first for any further work!

I have a basement suite in which two doors were getting jammed. The exterior door also was very sticky. Unfortunately, due to the incorrect installation by the former owners, Tony and Norman didn't have a lot of options to work with. However, they were able to plane the doors and carve out the hinges for the doors.

Tony was responsive to texts and extremely professional during our whole encounter. He was able to fit me in his busy schedule and showed up on time. More importantly, he was able to fix my doors!

Tony was EXTREMELY helpful. We had an issue with odor coming into the home from the garage. He was able to detect the issue and solve it. He could have simply tried to sell me on replacing my door but instead, he was honest and advised that it likely wouldn't make the difference. Tony was absolutely amazing to work with. We purchased our door from another company and its what's considered a high security multi point door. After only three years we had a hinge release and had no idea on how to fix it since it was not a standard hinge and the company we purchased it from said they couldn't help us for at least 6 weeks (I didn't have a working front door!). I called Tony Monday afternoon, he arrived at my house by Tuesday at lunch. What many others called impossible to fix and stating I should just get a new door, Tony was able to fix in less then 45 minutes! I'm normally not an impulsive person and do a lot of research and get many quotes before I go with a particular contractor. This time, I didn't and I don't regret it one bit! I filled out a form on the website with the issues with our door. I got a response that night saying he could come by the next day or the day after. He came by the next day, looked at it and told me to get in touch when I had a new lock for him to install. When I messaged him to say I had it, he said he might not make it that week and I reassured him that it was fine, we were in no rush but the next day, he came by anyway! Tony and Norm did a great job: they realigned the door which had been on an angle, they asked me about the speed for the door to close at behind us, stopped how it used to slam and installed the lock, reassuring me that he didn't want to know the code or program it (though I could have changed it easily!). While I was waiting for the etransfer to go through, I told him about another door that lets in a cold draft come winter and he sealed it at no extra charge. While it may be expensive, it's phenomenal service. They did a lot of extra little things I appreciated: like cleaned up the "mess", took away the old, broken door closer and trusted that I was trying to send the etransfer and left before it went through. We've had the door fixed since June 20th and it works so well and made us forget the loud slamming front door that we internalized!

There is a reason Tony and Door On The Go has so many 5 star reviews. He installed a pocket door in the basement last week and there was a small misunderstanding on where exactly the door should be placed. We noticed that after the work was completed and emailed Tony about that. He came the next day and quickly adjusted the door placement. Tony knows what he is doing and a pleasure to work with. Exceptional service - all around. I called Door On The Go blindly, knowing nothing about them, thinking it could take a week or more for them to come but Tony came the next morning - exactly on time - which was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise. Tony and Door on the Go is such a rare find these days. He is the type of person that after the job you can sit down and chit chat. I have used Tony before a few years ago and when I needed to replace a simple side door, I knew who to call. Finding a company to service residential doors is extremely hard if at all. Our patio door lock needed to be replaced. I’d previously had two other locksmiths come over who both told me the lock could not be replaced. Tony was able to come over the same day as my inquiry, arrived at the time he said he would and immediately was able to find a solution and replace the lock. Great service, speedy work and response. We were very pleased. After being broken into we needed our front door repaired fast. I called late in the evening and was able to get someone to come first thing in the morning. He repaired the door and now it is even better than before. Highly recommend!

Tony was very friendly and he spent time in making sure the whole door (included the lock) can be closed perfectly well. He did more than what I asked him to fix in the beginning with no additional charge. And the result is fantastic. So if you ask me about the price, I would say it's "VERY" affordable.

Condition of the door before I made the call: A wood sagged door in a very old house. The top hinge of my door was loosely attached to the frame (or jamb?). Door cannot close properly.
PS: I also post two pictures just to show how the top hinge looked like before Tony came

What Tony fixed:
1: Fix the holes of the frame where top hinge and bottom hinge are (ya, bottom, he fixed the bottom as well besides the top part, so both hinges of the door can last for very long time) [ did so by filling the holes with new wood so new screw s can stay in place]
2: Fix the gap
3: Replace old hinges (both top and bottom) to new ones, with new screw nails, of course.
4: Adjust the lock of the door so it can be more secure.

I now have a door that is working well again. Very happy to have called Tony at first place.

We got our key stuck in the door and couldn't remove it. We called Tony to come and remove it but instead he told us how to fix it over the phone free of charge. Very friendly would recommend

I've been meaning to write this review but never got around to doing it, however its something that we felt we had to do. We contacted a number of door repair companies and 'Door On The Go' was the most responsive. Tony was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He came in and gave us an honest opinion and laid out all the options for our front door handleset and lock replacement. Not only that but he genuinely helped us in trying to fix our existing hardware, although we did not ask him to. I could see the passion and pride he took in in his work as he spent a lot of time on this. He stayed late the first day and when we realized that I would need a brand new lock, helped us with getting one and scheduled a visit for the next day. I felt really bad when I found out that it was his daughters birthday and he had stayed late working at our home. The work was completed in a professional manner and I can't say enough good things about the experience. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tony and 'Door on the Go'. Keeping his number on file! Its hard to find good honest people you can trust.
