On another occasion (August 2012), a new home builder was on the point of transferring ownership of a property without having the garage door installed. She followed through and was able to get the builder to install the garage door on the morning of the closing day, which was great, as otherwise, I would have gotten a property with no garage door. And how long, and how much time and effort would have been needed to get that garage door installed after payment has been effected.
