Double Double Pizza & Chicken

I bought a large pizza from this location with several dips. Order was just under 30$ give or take. The free slice deal advertised on the front door was for online orders only - it was 9pm and there was one cheese slice left, simply asked if I could still get the free slice with purchase as advertised since he is likely to just throw it out. The employee refused and gave me my order, this just shows the lack of customer service as it would have only been beneficial for them to give the slice considering my order but instead likely threw it out. Now I won’t return and tell people not to come here in future.

Never been a problem since coming here for years. The people are sweet and welcoming and the food is always great and fresh!

Did you know the website lets you pick the 'Halal Option' but will allow you to create a meatless pizza anyway? And there's no warning about it!

Plus, they've hidden the Halal options - brilliant user experience, right? (sarcasm)

They even wanted me to take home my 'Halal Pineapple' pizza and pay for it, claiming it was 'my fault. ' As if their app isn't to blame.

I pointed out the app's flaw, but instead of acknowledging it, I got a public lecture. Not the best in handling situations.

Their business skills? Not impressive. The app? Pretty terrible. Time to grab your developers and fix this mess before it happens again.

We had a terrible experience at the sixth line, Oakville location. Usually we love the pizza from Double Double from the Mississauga location.

At the Oakville location, the pizza was so bad that it tasted like they heated up a frozen pizza from a grocery store. The dough hasn’t risen at all and and the inside was uncooked. There was no flavour in the pizza at all. We placed the order over the phone picked up the pizza after 15 minutes. The pizza was simply awful. We haven’t had such a bad pizza in any of the restaurants, ever.

We ordered the pizza at 9 pm. I wonder if the sole worker at the Oakville location doesn’t like taking late night pizza orders, if you consider 9 pm late night.

If he is too lazy to make pizza after 9 pm, then maybe they shouldn’t have their place open until 11 pm. Simply terrible. My kids were disappointed and stayed hungry even after we spent the money and time on this pizza.

This location is going to ruin the name for the entire Double Double chain.

Great man, always makes my family great tasty food. I ordered halal chicken pizza with a poutine, it was wonderful like always!

Great family run business with kid (and adult) approved pizza! Friendly, personable and accommodating, fresh pies with fresh ingredients that you can see them making when you're in the store. Regretting it took so long for us to try this place out!

This quickly became our number one take out spot because of the consistent quality, fair pricing and very friendly and accommodating staff! They are always so kind and helpful, food is always fresh and quality, and service is quick.

My favourite place to go. Great pizzas, amazing deals to combine different cravings and the friendliest staff there is! Would recommend to anyone looking to get pizza, wings, fries and even found their shawarma platters very appealing so there’s a great variety for everyone.

The team at this location couldn't be better. I just moved into the town and decided to get their pizza at noon. As soon as you walk in, it was so nice to see everyone working together and seeing everyone smiling. I would give them more than 5 stars especially after witnessing their obvious love and how they interacted with school kids. The vibe was uplifting. I would def go again. This will be my go-to go place.

Hands down the best double double location. Food is hot, quality is great and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I spot by often and have never had a poor experience.

I ordered from skip the dish. I had checked the reviews and had to check them out.
Originally I had ordered a combo and they cancelled my order and took the combo off. Which was annoying as now I had to wait longer and find something else. But I still had faith and just found something else.
I ended up ordering a Greek salad and unfortunately they had put ranch or Cesar dressing all over (if they put it on the side I would have been able to use my own) the freshness was there super crispy veggies, but the dressing was terrible.
Now let’s get to the chicken. Not overly breaded or greasy. But super crunchy. The pop corn chicken was amazing too with lots of flavour. And those home made wedges are to die for. The gravy was nothing special but went good with the wedges. 8/10 based in my salad and cancellation experience.
We will be coming back to try more!

I'm downgrading my original review (From a few years ago) from a five-star to a three-star.

Even since the original owner sold, the pizza has still been pretty good (Not the same, but still good). This is more about the wedges in very recent times (Even for a while after the original owner left, the wedges were still consistently top-notch). It seems like some times when I eat their wedges, they're perfectly good like how I remember them as a kid. However, other times, the wedges are too dry/not fresh and the potatoes are super hard (Really have to chew them), and they don't taste quite as good. They were never like that back in the day, and Double Double has been my go to pizza place for 20 years.

Staff is almost always friendly, which is one of the main reasons why I have continued to come here, but I just want the food to be consistent.

Second thing a lady with her kids entered who I believe was the owner of the restaurant, with zero respect for her own customers who are spending in their place, didn’t hold the door and entered with a. The cash counter didn’t paid attention to the packing of the order, he forgot tissue paper and forgets to add on the Pop Can, food however is 3.5/5 they don’t give respect to their customers at all. Sorry but not sorry. Not visiting again.

Excellent service, employees were kind and welcoming, and above all the food was amazing with superb portion sizes.

Tasteless, horrible customer service, some frozen pizzas have tasted better, not what double double use to be at all haven't had it on more then a decade when they use to be a walkers and upper middle Burlington Freshco plaza, the pizza and wedges were really good back then not now, not at all.

Price of chicken and wedges on their screen is 15.99 but somehow total becomes 20.50. With tax that should only be 18.07. I still tipped 15% on top since I'm in the service industry and I know how tough it can be now. Maybe just charge the right price going forward.

Edit: I read a review where someone thought they refried old chicken. I came in there and told me it would take 20 mins to cook. Definitely did not taste like it was fresh. Kinda disappointing.

Was super excited to try this place out after reading all the marvelous reviews. Super Disappointed! Our pizza was not even crispy, it was dry and pretty much flavorless. On Top, the order was wrong as the whole pizza should have been covered in onion and green pepper but only half was. They charged as double toping for Chicken and Bacon but there was very minimal pieces. The wings were soggy and the garlic bread wasn't even toasted. The potato wedges were good but that's it-Total Waste of Money and very unsatisfied.

I ordered pizza when I was coming back from work. Nada who is kind person helped me to choose my order. It was more than wonderful, crunchy, and the ingredients were fresh, and the chicken tasted great with dried tomatoes, which I can't forget. I encourage you to try it and it became the first and last pizza shop for me

Secret tucked away neighborhood pizza parlour that has so much more than just great pizza! We dined in and were served with the amazing hospitality of Nidaah. She was extremely generous in what she served us and was very happy to totally customise our pizza. We picked and chose everything, and watched her build it from scratch and had it served fresh oven hot:) A must try - especially for the #halal hunters!:)

One of The best places I’ve been before. Form my experience I’ve tried the cheese crust pizza was the most delicious pizza. Also, I recommend that place. Great customer service️

I remember always coming here when I was in highschool. The pep pizza is phenomenal especially with their gar parm sauce. The wedges are huge and tasty too. Havent been here in aged but hope it is still just as good

Awful pizza. Flavorless, gross and very low quality. The man who picks up the phone is consistantly rude and abrupt when ordering too. Very frustrating when I'm trying to give them my business for some reason. NO MORE. This was once a great pizza location but clearly new ownership has zero interest in selling half decent pizza. Students must be single handedly keeping this "pizzaria" alive.

Used to be my go to pizza place. Since the original owner sold it I no longer get the pizzas well done. They are actually under cooked. I also don't think there are any herbs on the pizza anymore. It's tasting really off from what it used to be. Was my favorite pizza joint and the original owner won a bunch of awards for franchise awards during his tenure.

Very tasty pizza, clean place and high customer service under the new managment, I will come back again

A quiet place tucked in a plaza. The place is clean, the pizza is made right in front of you unlike many pizza places out there. The fella who served us was super nice. I had three kids with me and came by to make sure they were pleased with their pizza. There are many other selections like wings and panzeroti. The food was fresh out of the oven and delicious. The slice portions were great at a price that will not break the bank. Definitely recommend this place!

They told me to wait on the phone for three minutes as soon as I called in.waited about fifteen and had to call them back as it seems like they forgot that I was still on the phone. When they did answer, they were rude and tried to make it seem like I was the one being unreasonable. Person was loud and didn’t know how to take an order. Terrible service.

A cute little restraunt with a very tiny patio. The best part is pizza is made right in front of your eyes from the scratch. There is an option of dine in and take out. The staff here is very welcoming. It's open till late so perfect for obnoxious and untimely pizza cravings.
A special shoutout to Maj (i hope i spelled it right) - a server who works the night shift. The smile with which he greets is something that will bring you back here. The variety of pizzas and reasonable prices are another entities that might do the same.
Various of options to choose from. I also tried Cinnamon sticks. They were bit sweet but good to eat when warm.
PS Eat them right away. Do not store them in refrigerator. They will become hard like bone next day.
Parking lot is huge and parking is free.

The food is way better than any Pizza Pizza I tried before.

I just visited this place today, I stayed for a while since I had some time to spare.there might be some hiccups as new owner but I really admire the dedication and hard work those people are putting.
The food was very good.and the portions was more than enough.
I work in Oakville and I will keep coming here for lunch whenever I crave for Pizza.

Called in on a weekend at around 7 PM. Asked for 120 wings. Guy told me they never get such large orders, and they run out of wings especially quickly on weekends.

What kind of wings place doesn't get orders of 120 wings, especially on weekends?

Favourite halal wings in Halton region. The crispy wings get soggy when you bring them home so best eaten fresh!

Came to this place with my wife after the game on Sunday and had a really good cheesy pizza which made our day after that disastrous game
Staff is good too

Could not understand how to take an order, never even showed up with the food. After waiting 1.5 hours we called them several times, no answer any of the times we called.
