My experience with Douglas Window and Door was incredibly stress-free. When we started thinking about windows and doors, it is easy to get overwhelmed, trying to make a good decision for such an important fixture in our home. Luc helped us select the appropriate windows and doors, and was very knowledgeable about the Greener Homes Grant and Loan programs, which were paramount in us being able to complete this project.

Pierre and Patrick did an amazing job at installing the windows and doors. Pierre is a pleasure to have inside the home, making great conversation and always cleaning up after himself, and Patrick went the extra mile by re-sealing some of our siding seams where the caulking had cracked. They also re-routed our video doorbell wire to the opposite side of the door, drilling a hole through the brickmould and flashing, allowing for a simple, clean re-installation after they left.

Overall it was truly a 10/10 job, and I would be happy to recommend Douglas to anyone needing windows or doors.

The team at Douglas were really great to deal with. We walked through the house, they sat and down at quoted project for me then and there. From there, we had a weekly report letting us how far out our project was. We had 13 windows done, and the installers were able to get in all done in 2 days, even with light rains. As a bonus, they even fixed my front door that was poorly done by another local company.

Exceptional service and attention to detail from start to finish, including from first home visit and quote right through to installation. We were kept in the loop through weekly status emails while awaiting installation, eliminating the need for repeat follow-up calls. Though our job was small, just 6 basement windows, the price was more than competitive, and all staff and the installation team treated us as if our small job was important to them as well. No hesitation to recommend Douglas Window & Door.

We were beyond impressed with the quality and customer service we received from Douglas. Luke was thorough and detailed with his quote and answered all our questions. Weekly update emails were provided to keep us aware of when to expect install and where we were in the queue. Install was fast, clean and professional. Highly recommend and will definitely give them our future business.

-Sloppy cuts to existing floor trim and stairwell ledge leading up to door *without* homeowners knowledge/permission. The contract specified no wall mods
-Forgot to caulk interior of new door trim/step. Door was also not installed correctly so it pulled water inside if raining
-Outside caulking had to be redone. Still uneven with fingerprints and gaps
-Scratch on new door. Ash burn on replacement door (they were smoking in our driveway)
-Scratched new doorknob while replacing said door panel
-Estimated a 3 month wait. After receiving our deposit the new estimated wait time was closer to 8 months
They've been by once to attempt to rectify their mistakes, although they didn’t do what they said they were going to. Debatably making things worse. They gave us $200 back but for a job that was over $2100 we’re very disappointed with how it turned out

We just had 6 windows replaced with Douglas, and they look amazing. Chris and his crew were very easy to work with from start to finish. We also want to thank Luc for his great suggestions and communication. Can't wait to get the rest of the windows changed next year!

Customer service and workmanship from Douglas Window was amazing. We replaced all windows and the front door and I'm very happy with the end result, as well as the help I received to get there. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star, was the cleanliness. That wouldn't stop me from recommending or using them again though!

We had Douglas Windows come out and replace all our windows on our 2nd floor. They did an amazing job removing the windows and putting our new ones in. Excellent Father and son team installed and repaired our new windows. They look amazing, we have had so many comments from neighbors asking who did them. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves and were very friendly, they even did some minor repairs on our front door which they were not replacing or fixing as it was sticking. My own con is that I would have loved to have the windows washed from the outside before they left. Will definitely be using Douglas Windows again when we replace the rest of the windows in our house.

We recently contracted Douglas Window and Door to install some windows in our house, and from start to finish, they did a great job. Quick response to our initial query, quick but thorough estimate, and weekly emailed updates (great idea!). Installer was friendly, polite, and did an excellent job. Windows look great, and I would gladly recommend their services to anyone.

Just had our new front door installed! We couldn’t be more pleased. It made a big difference to the front of our home and the crew arrived right on time. They were friendly, meticulous about their work and made sure everything was clean and back in it’s place before leaving. Douglas has done 2 installs for me at two different houses. Luc was excellent to deal with, and the installer Mario (along with his helper) were professional in every way. Highly recommend.

Your right Chris we did have a conversation. It went very differently then how you claimed over the phone.sawdac wants to charge me 700 dollars for an inspection due to your incompetence. I'm the last guy you'll pull something like this on rest assured. Hope you have a fantastic legal team.well see each other soon in court ;) if I'm spending my money it's to make you look bad best believe that. You guys installed a fresh window. My little or window never leaked b4. Now you claim it is. I have had 2 companies tell me they will remove your capping to prove it when ready but hey.you go with your four company emails you claimed to get in 10 minutes.if you went to a mechanic to get tires they would of told you of the condition of the rim. If it needed to be replaced they would tell you. If you told my lentil needed to be replaced I would have. When I called other window companies they indicated that was their standard practice. When I had my inspection from another compa y they indicated I had more heat loss from my WINDOW then around my window. I'd recommend 100 times over any other company. As for your window compa y the most unprofessional I've ever encountered.maybe you should remind him what phone number he enters and starts flapping his lips. Harrassment at its finest. Funny I had contractors here for the last 2 years and the only one I've ever had a problem with is you.my mold inspection indicated I have more heat loss from your garbage window then my 40 year old house.keep passing the buck.little science for ya.what happened when allimunum is exposed to steel. Mario and his co-worker from Douglas Windows removed and reinstalled our front bay window and changed the french doors from our bedroom to the deck to a patio door. Douglas Windows & Door just finished their second job on our home. We used them to install a sliding door in early 2020. Since we were so pleased with the competitive prices and workmanship, we had them replace all remaining windows on our home. Again they exceeded our expectations!

We had our new double front doors installed yesterday and they are beautiful. The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable. They walked us through everything we needed to know. The installers were polite, installed our door quickly and cleaned up nicely after. We are thrilled with our new front door! I would definitely recommend Douglas Window & Door!

After having many quotes for our large window project we couldn’t be happier with our choice of Doulas Windows. Luc was great with providing options for us and was patient with our small child too. Pierre and Patrick our installation team was great and made quick work of a lot of windows. We have a very old house that posed some challenges for them but the windows all turned out great. They were friendly, professional and cleaned up everything inside and out during our 2 day install. I’ll definitely be contacting them for any future window or door projects.

If you need new windows and doors, Douglas is the way to go. Courteous, professional and knowledgable are how I would describe the company. I will hire them again when we decide to replace our remaining windows. I want to personally thank Greg and Jerome for the job they did.

After looking into some new windows from three different places, we chose to order from Douglas. They have a rep. Brandon who is AMAZING with help figuring out exactly what you need. Their prices were better than anyone else, and their windows I ordered have a lifetime warranty. The windows came, were installed and are beautiful. Exactly to the detail what we wanted. I would highly recommend them, and will be using them again in the future!

Had a new window replace and because of covid having a impact on supply I was scheduled for March but got my window being of Feb. Install was quick and super nice guys.

Don't use this company. We had a window installed and the installer removed insulation from our wall and did not replace it but left it in the shrubbery. We now have to pay someone to remove the window, replace the missing insulation with new insulation and reinstall the window.

Douglas Window and Door installed my front door and Bay window and we are in love with the finished product!

This company did a great job. Pierre and Patrick installed the windows and doors and did an excellent job. I recommend this company to all my friends and family.

We have used Douglas Window and Door on two occasions. They are professional and do very good work. I would highly recommend them for windows and doors.

I had great experience for my window installation. The staffs were great from sale manager, Brandon, installer, Sean and his colleagues plus Robin (secretary). They did install my window on time as they promised, good price for good quality. They did clean job and left no mess. They used PPE properly because of COVID pandemic.

Douglas is an excellent company. We replaced a front door and all our windows with Douglas. From the quoting process through the installation, they were professional, kind, and most of all did a great job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Douglas!

Excellent service and great prices! The Douglas salesperson earned our business over other companies because of his honest and friendly approach; he was not over bearing but was very genuine, friendly and knowledgeable. The two installers, Pierre and Patrick, we're the nicest guys ever! They made quick work of the window install and even made a little repair on our sliding door (just the best guys!). The workers came to our house on time and did a fantastic job and they were done in 2 days, as promised.

What I wanted to write about was how professional they were with work ethic. They were punctual, hard working, focused and most importantly, very clean. They were careful, not to damage anything surrounding the area and after the work was done, they cleaned up the mess. I cannot say enough of all the positive adjectives, but that would make this comment too long.

I am so happy with all the windows they have installed. They are truly good quality windows and so beautiful! I never thought I would ever say such a thing about windows. It would be a pity to cover them up with curtains.

Initial consultation was great, very friendly with no pushy sales tactics or overselling things I didnt need, just genuine information that fit what I actually wanted/needed.

Delivery time was within the quoted time they had told us (if anything it was sooner than we expected). Set up next day installation. Price was very reasonable for the window sizes, especially with the warranties that came with them.

Workers showed up within 10 min of the scheduled time and all very happy and polite. Work was completed very efficiently, even with it being a centennial home that has a tendency to throw many unexpected issues when doing repairs, and insulating the window far better than it ever was before they came. Cleaned up fully after themselves when done, inside and outside without any injury to the flowerbeds around the windows.

The windows themselves look amazing, crystal clear to the point it is almost unsettling as it does not look like there is a window pane there. Made sure the trim was done well and esthetically pleasing, asking my opinion on how I wanted the trim done, not just assuming.

My girlfriend and I recently got an egress window cut in from Douglas window & door inc. Luke made is very easily to ask questions and get all the information we needed regarding our project by providing good insight and responding quickly and efficiently. We had to have our window special ordered and the company did not let us down. They were able to get us exactly what we wanted and fit us in for installation as soon as possible. The two guys that came to install the window (Greg) were professional, friendly and did a great job. Our window looks great, we were able to build our window well the next day. We are very happy with the window. It not only looks great but functions smoothly and was exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend this company.

We had all our windows done last week. Right from the beginning they explained everything to us. Dustin took the time to listen to us and found window options that best suited our needs, our budget and looked best for our home. Sean double and triple measured making sure to discuss differant window openings and answered any questions. The install crew Rick and Thomas did a superb job. I applaud them for working so hard in the extream heat and humidity. They certainly take pride in there work. They always left the job site clean and were very cautious of our gardens too! It is nice dealing with a company that genuinely cares about there customer! I never felt pressured or harassed to make a decision. We will be recommending Douglas for years to come! I had multiple people give me a quote for a new patio door. Luc spent about 45 minutes with me going over their products, work ethic, warranty, and standards. He ensured that all my questions were answered. I appreciated the time he spent with me.

Great experience. I needed 6 windows replaced and sales rep worked with me to get the windows i wanted at a price within my budget. I received a call saying my order was ready, earlier than expected - Bonus. The installers were on time and very personable. They did a great job and even vacuumed my couch while cleaning up. The windows look amazing and I am very pleased with them.

Cursing myself for ever hiring this lot to do the front windows on my house. Their prices are competitive, but really nothing special relative to the industry. Everything else is a dismal, epic fail.
Took over 13 weeks from the time of contract signing to finally get the windows installed. The large picture window they put in had a glass flaw embedded in it that can be seen with the naked eye from over 25 feet away (see photo).
To their credit, the installers put through a replacement order for the flawed glass pane (don't these people have any quality control?), and another 12 weeks go by without any follow-up or communication from Douglas. After repeated phone calls from me don't yield any information about when they can finish the job, someone finally calls me back and sets up a time to put in the new pane. Then a call on the morning of the scheduled install informs me that there had been an "accident in the warehouse" that had destroyed the glass they'd planned to install. Back to square one. This nightmare has now dragged on for 6 months with seemingly no end in sight.
Anyone looking for a reliable window contractor in the London area is well advised to steer clear of these bumbling, unrepentant clowns.

Very friendly staff. Installation was good; there was some sealant/caulking left on the new patio door that was installed I needed to clean up myself. Overall happy with the service and product.

We chose Douglas Windows based on read reviews, so hopefully this helps someone still looking. Here is our experience. Luc came to our house within 2 days after we called. He was very polite and professional. He explained the product used and the LIFETIME warranty that comes with. He gave us a fair quote that was better then most competitors. He assured us we would be satisfied with the installation as their team does a wonderful job. So, here we are installation time 7 weeks later. Pierre and Patrick (request them) arrived at our home to complete the installation. They are a father/son team who are extremely friendly, polite and knowledgeable. I am very impressed with their level of workmanship. They work extremely quick but do not cut corners. I think I drove them a little nuts always looking over their shoulders, but if it bothered them I would never have known. I highly recommend Douglas Windows. Our job was 17 windows and 1 entrance door. The only thing I can not speak to this far (and hope to never have to) is the warranty. Thank you Luc, Pierre and Patrick

This company is wonderful! They were on time for the installation and they worked hard until the job was done. They were considerate of our young baby being in the house and did a great job cleaning up after. The price was very good too. We had 6 windows and a patio door replaced.
