Produce is definitely a must-do here. I got all of my groceries (around $30 bucks at the store) for a great price of $15. Support more local businesses by cutting out the middle man of the grocery store and just plan your week ahead for produce/easy pantry items.
The merchant side is a great place to get a find bargain, but also a good place to get scammed by ‘owners’. Its Amazon but for local shoppers that you can actually hand-pick and bargain a price down sometimes.
Great farmers market, nice food court, lots of STUFF! My highlights were the video game shop, book shop, and natural products (shea butter and soaps). Affordable prices, generally cash only. Lots of low quality products and fake brands though so be on the lookout for that.
Best place for fresh produce at great prices, can never leave without the corn and a fresh drink from the juice hut by the food area. The deals and the people within the flea market make going here worth it everytime
Great place to buy cheap products and save by using cash money. Also, variety of products which will make you look at different vendors and then go for selection according to the price for same product. Bit bargain options are there if you buy more than 2 products from same shop.
Best flea market west of yonge street. Many shops.you can get lost in this place. Good food selection. Try the charcoal grilled kebab wrap hut just outside main entrance. You won't regret it
I must say first time being here and was impressed with the fresh market and will return for that, BUT my first purchase of cologne the minute I entered was exciting because I normally don't buy this stuff.it was broken! Buyer beware!
Great farmers market in front and many vendor booths in behind that with a great variety of new and used items. Worth the drive and I will be back again.
One of my FAVE flea market's in Toronto. They offer an amazing farmer's market with a huge selection of fresh produce. Make sure to check out their food court, they have tons of delicious authentic West Indian and Spanish delights. The snow cones are so good and I'll be back soon!
We went because I was looking for vegetable plants for my garden- none of those. But loads of fresh beautiful veggies and fruit and the tastiest pistachios and corn nuts we have ever had from the nut stand. Also indulged sharing one item from 3 stands outside fresh hot food - all excellent.
Mostly people selling Ali Express stuff. Neat to walk around, but I was expecting more people selling their own stuff. There's a farmer's market, if that's of any interest
Fun place to look around and enjoy some great food at amazing prices.from melos kitchen we had the jerk pork and chicken on rice with coleslaw for $15! It was delicious!
This review based on the fruits and vegetables. Prices are cheap but most of the time not fresh. Summer time, they have a better selection and more fresher.
(PLEASE NOTE this review is about the farmers market only.)
1) Excellent selection of fresh fruits and veggies. 2) Go with environment-friendly bags to carry your purchases and cash (plastic bags offered, no cards accepted and I don't trust the cash machine there). 3) Prices are unbelievably lower than any store, and the vendors either give you discounts or extra stuff when you purchase more (we got a free box of tasty strawberries when we got 2 bunches of broccoli, and $1 off a $6 purchase which was already cheap to begin with). 4) Definitely doing all my future fresh produce purchases from here.
Awesome Place abundabce of fresh fruits/veggies starting from the entrace way. The food court has a large section of foods from different countries definately worth checking out. Lots of deals everywhere from antiques to carpets to pets to clothing for the whole family. Safety shoes work clothing winter gear cells phones /repairs laptops new and used. If your just looking to do something check it out Downsview Park flea market.
Parking is challenging, food court not really in existence and any vendors present seem unsanitary. The fresh food market smelled funny. Mediocre Flea market.
Choose your fresh produce carefully in the front. Good deals can be found, very courteous & friendly help from each vendor. Didn't venture into the market this time because I knew I'd be in there too long. Will be returning.
I've been coming here since I moved back in Aug And Iove this place the farmers market and the vendors are amazing i can't wait for the summer because thats the best time to go there
I love the antiques, and the food court offers international meals reasonably. I'm a flea-market food aficionado and this is one of the best in the GTA.
This place was good now it smells weird, its expensive, ppl sell knock offs trying to say there real, burnt movies everywhere, fake jewelry posed as real
Only good thing was the fresh fruit smoothie guy hes been there since day one but just seen he failed health code lol
The market has lots of parking space. Vegetable and fruits are cheap but not as fresh as No Frills or Basic Foods. Box of Rama tomatoes cost about $20 and $25 max. Taste grapes before buying. Checkout all the sellers first before you start shopping. Prices defer per seller.
Very good place to shop and it has wheelchair parking washroom free parking and close to subway station and go train station and it's open from 10 Am to 6 PM and all kinds you need
You can find a huge selection from everything, and good prices. Not everything is fresh, and I'm sure not everything is from the farm, or garden, but it worth checking out the place. I will definitely go there again in the future.
Wow I've never seen so much stuff I don't need.but almost everything I DO need is ALSO in there, somewhere, hidden in that vast chaos. Luckily there are great food kiosks everywhere in the building, which will keep your morale up when you become hopelessly lost in there.
Great place to enjoy nature while walking jogging or just sitting by the water. This is referring to Downsview Park.
The merchant market has a variety of vendors if you are looking for clothing, handbags, household items, cell phones and accessories. This is the place to shop tax free. All you need is cash. There is even a food court with tasty treats. Reminds me if the swap shop in Ft Lauderdale.
The huge produce market is where I got to get all my fruits and veggies. Saturday morning is the best time for this for getting the freshest.
In summary it's a great place to get most of your shopping needs under 1 roof.
