Downtown Sleep Dentistry and Oral Surgery

Excellent experience. Had two molars replaced with dental implants. Yes, I was lucky in that they were able to install the implants at time of extraction, and that I healed well and fast.

But I was awake for all procedures. And while sure, I’d rather vacuum the house than have teeth pulled, this was far from the worst experience I’ve ever had. Uncomfortable as expected, but 100% pain free.

Dr. Campbell was fast, efficient, and obviously very skilled. The staff were friendly and efficient. The entire process, five visits in all, were stress free and comfortable. Definitely my first choice of dental surgery in the future.

My only recommendation would be for Dr. Campbell to work on his story telling skills for his awake patients. A very pleasant and personable man to have a conversation with, his monologues tend to be technical, and well, if you’re not a dentist, a little boring. But he’s fast, so it’s not too bad.

All in all, a great success.

From the days of general anesthetic because of my extreme panic disorder to this day getting a filling with nothing. The kindness, patience and compassion of Dr. James Blackmore and lovely Nadia is golden and has no price. The whole staff always makesme feel so welcome. Thank you, thank you! Awesome place. Very friendly and caring. After extensive extractions I am sitting here pain free having coffee and a yogurt.

Dr Blackmore and staffing are fantastic. We have been taking our two kids here for years now. They are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend him. My kids are anxious about dentist but they have no issues here. Little or big, this is perfect place.

I would have given them a higher review if they had just worked with us. We when't to see Dr. Blackmore because they said they worked with Disabled people all the time and were covered under Disability, for the most part he seemed nice but when my disabilities became apparent he dropped me as a patient because i canceled a couple of appointments (atleast 48 hours ahead of time). Very unprofessional move. If your disabled or on disability do not see him, he says he understands when he infact does not care, he only cares about money.

Amazing denist Dr Miller and sweet friendly staff I've known them for over 20 years, wonderful with my children with disabilities. I wouldn't go to any other Denist.

Dr. Campbell is very professional. It was my Son's first visit to a dentist office and Dr. Campbell was super kind and explained to him about the procedure and made him feel comfortable.

We drove into Hamilton from Niagara as I was referred here by a family member. I am SO thrilled we did. They took the best care of my daughter -before during and after her surgery. They also ended up having to care for me as I don't handle seeing my kids the way she was and I ended up pail and sweaty. The wonderful woman who was working (I forget her name as I was in such a haze) led me into another room and cared for me as well as my daughter. This morning we received a call to check in on her - what dentist even does this? ! I have referred this dental office to my sister and a friend of mine and will continue to refer everyone I know here. Thankful for the wonderful team that works here.

My little guy has sensory issues with his teeth, so he needed a lot of work. Not only did they make him feel comfortable (major dental phobia) they eased my anxiety and didn't make me feel judged. Amazing staff!

This review is only about my experience with staff. I never received dental care from this office and I never will after today. My child needs some dental work done that will be extremely traumatic to do while awake. In my search for a sleep dentist I called this office. I was prepared with an exact list of what my child needs ie: anesthesia, band and loop spacer, Cavity filled on all sides and a tooth extraction. I asked for a general idea of what they charge. I was told they wouldn't tell me their standard prices unless I had a $300 consultation. I told them I knew exactly what needed to be done I was just looking for their standard prices. Ie: what do you charge for a Cavity filling on all sides. After rudly and reluctant giving me their prices i discovered they charge several hundred $$ more than other offices. I will be paying most of this out of pocket. Why are they so afraid of transparency. Maybe they don't want customers comparing their prices. After I got my prices the staff member very rudly told me to have a nice day and hung up. Why am I being spoken to like this over a service I can expect to pay thousands of $$ for.
