Highly recommend this pediatric dentist. Truly amazing and patient with the kids

Dental care is good. Administration and communication are very poor. If you can afford to wait months and or do not care about benefits reimbursement this office could be a good fit for you. Here is my experience with this office over the past year:
-overcharged more than $300 due to clerical error. Was told CHQ had to be issued elsewhere and it will could taoe 3-6 weeks. Told them to have CHQ at office so it could not be delayed further in the mail. They acknowledged my request, said they would call me as soon as CHQ was in office. They then mailed the CHQ and I got it 5 weeks later. 10000% unacceptable for any family especially a single parent
-ask direct questions in e-mail and they do not answer the questions being asked
-takes several calls to receive a response
-does not e-file your claim, they use paper forms as if it is still the 1980s and leaving lots of room for error

Very very good dentist! I brought my baby when she was a newborn to diagnose tongue tie and again at 10 months for a certain checkup & will continue to bring her here. The staff are so nice and the dentist herself is excellent. Thank you!

Brought my 5-year-old here twice. First time, Dr. Meriano was short with him but, I thought, many reviews were good so I went back. Second time, a tooth needed extraction. He was nervous and this dentist's bedside manner did not help. She held the gas mask over his face with force as he cried. He said it smelled bad. She insisted, very sternly, that the gas had no smell. We were instructed to keep the mask for next time (as if there would be a next time), so I smelled it myself and yes, there was an off smell. Nothing unbearable but she was very dismissive, almost yelling at a 5-year-old.
Ended up switching to a more friendly dentist, not specializing in pediatrics, and we've had no problems! Makes me think the problem was not my child, but this dentist. I would expect more from someone who specializes in working with children.

My grandson had “emergency” dental work and was in pain off and on. He was booked for visits and would have been done by Xmas 2022 - they call and canceled all and rebooked him for May 2023 now they are canceling again! Why do this to children! Getting referred else now - will not be going back, very unprofessional.
