Dr. Andrew Simone - Walk-in Dermatology Clinic

Quick and awesome service! Waited 15 min and they are really kind, make sure to bring cash! I really recommend this place.

I was recently referred to Dr Simone’s office for acne concerns. I looked forward to going in and wanted to make sure I was respectful of the office’s walk in requirements. I called in to confirm and after I said “Hello, good morning” I was not even greeted, just told to “talk fast”.
This came shocking to me but I continued to ask my clarifying question and received sighs and an annoyed “yes”. I said thank you anyway and the call ended abruptly.

Having any sort of skin related concerns puts individuals in a vulnerable place. If this was the treatment over the phone, I cannot begin to imagine how dismissive the service would’ve been in person.

Extremely rude and unprofessional, find yourself another skin doctor and dont waste your time. You will also be asked to wait outside in the cold for over 1 hour and 30 mins. What is this?

Dr. Simone and staff are totally unique. You may say "why should I wait in line? ", what the heck are you waiting so long for. I'll help you with this. The wait time for a dermatologist can be months! I have suffered terribly and in three weeks I've am so grateful for this clinic. Dr. Simones' years of experience are worth the wait time! If you're looking for a facelift, this clinic might not be fancy enough for you! My respect and gratitude is genuine. I'll be in line again this week for a followup, and knowing how much better I feel after having a skin illness, and the relief I feel, it's overwhelming. God bless and keep these people!

Dr. Andrew and the clinic staffs are super supportive and nice. The wait might be really long but it's worth it and way better than waiting 1-2 months for an appointment.

This man is a blessing to society, for the community contributions and selfless acts of helping others. He runs a walk in clinic for dermatology when every other doctor/medical office requires referrals by appointment only (usually 3 months out from when you need it). Dr Simone could have retired long ago but he is still working hard seeing patients every day. This man is a miracle, and I am grateful for his service.

I came here about 4 months ago for severe acne on back and chest that weren't clearing up. I was hoping Dr would prescribe me Accutane. He said they don't prescribe Accutane at their clinic but he prescribed me Tetracycline and said I have to stay on it for a minimum of 5 months and recommended using benzoyl peroxide body wash. I was a bit skeptical at first because I tried minocycline and didn't work. It's been 4 months and I'm fully healed. Thank you so much I have 0 acne!

Came in for acne’s, Dr. Simone is very confident with his diagnosis and writes prescription very quick u like most dermatologists who think so slow.

Amazing helped with my eczema during the pandemic. Went to walk in, 2 drs and specialist. Dr. Simone gave me a simple routine to wash and a light topical. Soo much relief. I would recommend anyone suffering to see him

Dr. Simone removed 2 large moles that've been bugging me for awhile. The skin area healed well and you can barely tell that I had moles. I'm really satisfied!

I like and appreciate the walk in service Dr Simone provides, but what I don’t like it that he rushes you out of office. Sometimes not all issues are addressed or taken care of before he gets agitated and rushes you to leave.

This place is a hidden gem! It was a close friend who recommended us this place and am forever grateful to have been there and witnessed the compassion and wisdom Dr. Andrew and his teams are offering to their clients.

Heaven knows how hard it is to find a dermatologist in Toronto, and Dr. Andrew making his service accessible to those in need is a great service to residents.

My husband and I went Saturday morning around 3: 30 am and filled out forms and only stayed there less than 15 minutes. We went there to treat wart and a skin condition called Keloid, we are prescribed meds, and am hopeful that it will work. The visit was short and brief, don't expect longer conversation with the Dr.or his assistants, as the place is a very busy place, they only see you for less than a minute and prescribe you the meds you need. Alas! The guy is doing what he is doing solely for altruistic purpose and don't expect fancy waiting area or customer service. They know what they are doing, and that's all what matters.

Big ups to Dr. Andrew and his team. Wish him wellness and happiness.

Best time/date to visit, I would say is Saturday from 4 to 8: 00 am.

Very efficient and compassionate doctor. Arrived around 1pm and left around 3pm. So happy to have been able to find him after seeing multiple family doctors.

Such a great doctor and team! Barley waited an hour and he knew almost instantly how to treat my finger nails!

What an incredible operation. I went Saturday morning at 3: 45am, and there seemed to be a lot of people, but I got in very quickly, and everyone was incredibly nice and professional. He diagnosed and treated my issue on the spot. Impressive experience A+

Went to Dr. Simone last Saturday. I got there at about 3: 30AM. Long story short I had a cyst that needed urgent care and I didn't realize how challenging getting a dermatologist was. I found Dr. Simone online and was so happy I did this. The efficiency of this clinic is amazing, and the care even better. I'm here a week later and my cyst is almost gone. Kudos to the entire team and especially Dr. Simone!

This is a walk-in clinic. You don’t have to wait 3 months for an appointment.
The staff at this clinic are friendly and efficient.
Remember bring $50 cash if you don't have an OHIP.

The doctor was nice but the assistant was rude. It felt like she was impatient with me because I didn’t understand instructions right away. Her expression made me feel like she thought I was an idiot.

He not only has great expertise and professional manner, but also has a very kind heart with dedicated service.

Dr. Simone removed a cyst on my face. I was so scared of pain and he performed this little surgery in a very careful and fast way. The nurse was comforting me all the time and the doctor himself is a person with a big heart. Thank you so much!

They said they were open on dec 30 but was closed waited for 2 hours. The place is sketchy in a big house. No parking as well. Im unsure how much i can trust the doctor

Went to Dr Simone about 4 years ago for a spot between my eyes that wasn't going away.

He dealt with it immediately, sent it for testing and within a few days he called me. Turns out it was skin cancer. Dr Simone immediately arranged an appointment for MOHS surgery. I truly appreciated his quick diagnosis and for taking care of me during a scary time. He didn't mess around, he's direct but shows compassion.

Wish more dermatologists were like Dr Simone. He's a blessing to both the medical profession and too his community.

What a great doctor. No wonder there are people lined up when I got there early, and even longer when I left. Hope I won't have to return, as he efficiently removed a small fatty deposit under my skin, but wouldn't hesitate to go here again.

Put me on tetracycline for almost a year and my acne came back worse. Said skin is doing better when it clearly isn’t. Went back to see if he can prescribe something else or any other solution like accutane. He said he doesn’t prescribe accutane and that I had to go to another dermatologist for it. He then wanted to put me back on the tetracycline even though it’s not good to be on antibiotics for that long. Who knows what havoc it can create in my body with such long term use. Didn’t give any other alternative when I said I didn’t want to be on it. Hard to communicate with him. Left with nothing. Spent about 2-3 mins max in his office while I travelled for more than hr with the public transport system just to get there. Disappointed and upset would be understatement.

God bless him he’s the sweetest man ever. He knows you’re worried he calms you down and makes sure you’re well taken care of. I never write reviews but I had to for him. Everything he’s doing for everyone is remarkable.

So impressed with how this clinic works. It may seem a little unconventional… but I have never seen a Dr office work so quickly and efficiently.
I arrived a little early and was actually in and out before the office hours even began.

I never wrote any reviews in my life but now I want to share with everyone how lucky happy & grateful I am! I have no words to put into! I came to dr. Simone office it was my last hope (I had an exceptional case of eczema) -there was no even inch of clear skin on my body. It was so painful and itchy.i suffered for more than 2 months- nothing helped me (antibiotics, steroids) And just after 1st visit to dr. Simone, after applying medicine that was prescribed I felt such a relief! I wonna live again! For the 1st time I could sleep in last 2 months. Had a simple skin tag on my forehead since birth. I decided to get it removed 3 years ago. I called many clinics to book an appointment, but they all told me it would take around a year for my appointment because my problem was not “urgent”. Paid Dr. Simone a visit and he removed the skin tag within a few minutes. Great doctor!

Came to see Dr. Simone on a Wednesday, arrived around 1230pm and there was already 4 people waiting. They began checking people in early. By 1pm there were at least 8 people behind me waiting to see him.

Was called in shortly after 1pm, was out by 1: 15 and there had to be nearly 20 people waiting.

Do not come here and expect a warm and fuzzy experience. The doctor has a ton of people to see, the visits are quick and to the point. The fact that no referrals are needed is amazing. I was able to have my concerns addressed immediately, and have them resolved. Wish there were more doctors doing this.

I found out about Dr Andrew from one of my PGY3 colleague, saw him over a year ago about a concern, quick in and out to the point, & humble,

I went to four different doctors for my infant son. All of those doctors, including one who is supposed to be reputable, gave me the same diagnosis, which didn't settle in with me based on my research and therefore I decided to go to Dr. Simone just to get a fifth opinion.

The minute he walked into the room, I felt a positive/angelic presence. He spent less than a minute assessing my baby and then looked at me and said that I should take him to SickKids immediately and that the previous four diagnosis I've received are not correct. He also wrote a note (which I still have as it's so meaningful) for​ me to present to the ER or Derm.team at SickKids in order for them to prioritize this situation. Long story short, they did a lot of tests and the results of their tests matched Dr Simone's assessment.

He's literally one of the best doctors in this world, yes, this world! His kindness, knowledge and compassion makes him an amazing doctor. I will forever be grateful to him especially since he helped my baby, who was 5 months old at the time, get the immediate medical attention that he needed.

Highly recommend going to Andrew Simone's clinic. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and provides the appropriate treatment as soon as possible, same day if possible. Thank you for your service Andre Simone and team!

Friendly staff and Dr. Simone was very kind. I got there at 6am on a Saturday and there was already quite a bit of people there but the wait time was minimal! Would definitely recommend this clinic.

We have all around pleasant words for Dr. Simone and his staff. Our visits ere covered by OHIP and one need not a GP's referral to go see Dr. Simone. Initial consultation, without OHIP card, is $50 per patient. Walk-ins are welcome, wait times are reasonable, masks and distancing are in effect, he has a ton of knowledge, years of experience, donates to charity, sees patients from all over Ontario, the TTC/ City parking lot is 2 min walking distance away from his office, and they open at 4: 00 a.m. On Saturdays. Hope this info helps.

Dr. Simone is so knowledgeable and an invaluable addition to the medical community here in Toronto. To see a specialist takes forever so the fact he is a walk in practitioner and sees his patients same day really is something special. Will be continuing to see him for all our families skin needs until he finally retires.:)

Dr. Simone is an Inspirational Soul! He is a kind hearted Doctor with a rare passion to help the less fortunate in need. I was very nervous going in because I thought I had skin cancer. However, Dr. Simone helped create such a welcoming, warm and calming atmosphere. I am so inspired by all that he continues to do to help so many others around the world. After meeting Dr. Simone - it was more than just a visit to a Dermatologist - it was a beautiful reminder for us all to exude that same level of kindness, compassion and heart. I had a wart on my lower lip and Dr Andrew removed it in 15mins. It was a good experience. Waiting was also 15 to 20mins as no appointments are given. Dr charged in cash.

Wonderful service. Super quick and efficient. I came here with no referral, there was no wait time, i was in and out within 20 minutes.i paid for 2 hour parking because i expected to be there for a while but such was not the case.

Medical service:
Quick visual assessment of my atopic dermatitis matching diagnosis of previous dermatologists I'd seen. Provided medicated cream, along with several guidelines that I had not previously considered. I brought my past medicines in case needed for reference but they weren't. After doctor's advice I was able to consult a nurse with more questions. I saw some reviews suggesting a failed treatment was being prescribed again, but I think that the directions provided also have importance. I am not a doctor so I will trust the doctor's direction unless I have reason to believe otherwise. I will review my condition after two weeks. Very professional using positive language since I've seen doctors who may know medicine but are bad at customer service and managing expectations.

Result:
My skin healed rapidly seeing gradual progress literally overnight and continuous improvement. Dr. Simone's prescription and direction also prevented my skin from drying and thinning throughout treatment. Now I only have to rest my hands from favouring my healthy fingers too often. It has been seven days, and my skin feels almost normal in most places. My treatment is to least two weeks.

Administrative service:
Staff was courteous, efficient, yet I didn't feel too rushed. I was hoping for fast service after all. I was processed quickly, so they are quite organized. I was not asked to donate money to anything like one of the reviews mentioned.

COVID safety:
Everyone wearing masks to make up for the space being a little small, so good cleanliness. After outside waiting room, had indoor waiting room, re-screened.

Interior:
It's a regular doctor's office. The patient room was kind of small, and had testimonials and some of Dr. Simone's achievements on the wall that I looked over to pass the time, also some tips on effective skin care, prices on medical procedures, and other things.

Parking:
Took a while to find street parking the next street over that didn't block traffic. Maybe a three minute walk from there.

Doctor Simone knows very well his job. We waited the amount of time that was broadcasted on the web site. As a Harvard graduate and for the age he has and charitable things he is doing, he is admirable. Respect!

I had my moles removed a week ago. At first I was skeptical to try this clinic because of what I've read about Dr Simone. I went there 30 mins before the clinic hrs and I was the 2nd in line. Before the procedure, I filled up a form and was told to wait for Dr Simone in a small room. When Dr Simone came, he was kind and asked me how am I and did the procedure right away. He removed my 4 moles. The procedure lasted for about 15minutes and then he left. His wife was there too and very kind. He also asked for a very cheap amount for the mole removal compared to the other clinic I called before. When I got out of the clinic, I was surprised that there were lots of patients outside waiting to be seen by Dr Simone. Thank you Dr Simone.

It was so useful to be able to get same-day treatment for a dermatological issue without a referral. It's a very popular clinic, so be prepared for a bit of a wait but they are quite efficient. I checked in 10 minutes after they opened, went for a walk and got a call to return after about an hour. Dr. Simone diagnosed and treated my cosmetic issue very quickly.

I have taken all 3 of my children to Dr. Simone over two decades and each and every time he has diagnosed their issue immediately and was correct every single time, even when our excellent pediatrician was unable to diagnose properly and he recommended him as well. He has a lifetime of experience that is unparalleled and expertly and thoughtfully diagnoses and explains exactly why he did. He is still sharp as a whip and is still teaching others. He is also an amazing person and humanitarian that is a model for us all.

Strangest doctor visit since I've come to Canada 20 years ago.
Dr. Simone not only did not explain anything, he looked resentful/annoyed every time we asked a question about the diagnosis/treatment.
Prices seem cheap, but you get what you pay for. Everything was rushed and it felt like we were in a 3rd world hospital.
The rest of the staff was good, though, just seems like its time for Dr Simone to retire (10 years ago).
The patient room was also decorated very strangely and frankly, unprofessionally. Creepy religious decoration all over the place. Dr, you're free to believe what you want, but at a doctors office, its out of place. Your medals from running/cycling are also out of place.

OMG.goodness. I came home today and I was so so pleased. Dr. Simone and his wife are very special people. The staff was excellent. I wish the world had many more people like them.

Phenomenal doctor. Kind man, very caring but direct and to the point. Knew exactly what my skin condition was and took care of it right away for me. He and wife and assistants really care about their patients. Nestled in an upper class neighborhood, the place itself is rather smallish, not overly lavish but clean. It serves its purpose and there are enough staff around. Parking can an issue so you'll have maybe walk a tad form the sides streets. High recommend this doctor. God bless this man!

I was skeptical about the doctor's two seconds check on my skin condition.but the truth is, the prescription he gave me cleared my skin condition in two weeks, the same condition that has been plaguing me for the past 5 years. Now my skin is as soft as babies.

Dr. Andrew Simone was made to be a dermatologist. He did the job quickly. I was shocked. My normal dermatologist would take forever and charges 5x more. Dr. Andrew did it quickly and the cost was reasonable. I am wondering should I go back and get something removed for my face.

I have attended Doctor Simone's clinic 3 times in the past several years. The first time I went, he diagnosed a rare skin condition within a minute, and prescribed me a treatment that had the ailment cleared in about a week. The other two visits were for mole removals. He was gentle and careful in all the procedures. I showed up at the opening hour and never waited more than several minutes to be seen. Get there early and you won't have to wait, as some people have complained. Those reviewers who said that he "refused to help", "would not listen" or that his office is "weird" are confused. Dr Simone is professional and skilled with over five decades of practical experience. He truly is an altruistic individual. I have recommended him to family and friends who he has also treated well on multiple occasions. God bless you Doctor Simone and keep up the great work.
