Do NOT trust this dental clinic. They only want your money and your dental health is not the priority. Don’t waste your time to come here. You will be advised about extra dental procedures that are not needed and even if you refuse, you will be forced to get them done. I have been to other dentists, Dr Arun Narang is the worst dentist you will ever come across, he only cares about your $$. Never go here, please!

Had my cleaning done from Hafsa, hygienist today. She is amazing and v thorough, as well as gentle. Recommend her for sure.

Dr. Makar did an excellent job extracting my wisdom teeth. I was suprised when it ended. Thankful to him and Song for making my life so easy with this.

Dr. Makar and Dr. Song were really good with helping me through extraction. It was quick and they made me feel good about it as earlier I was way nervous but they helped me a lot.

I am coming here from last 17 years. Amezing customer service and all the surgeon and Dr's are very qualified. I referred so many people here and still do. Had a very good experience with my tooth extraction with Dr Makar and Song. Highly recommend it.

Took my son to Adam, a dental hygienist, for a teeth cleaning. Adam was exceptional—professional, skilled, and made my son comfortable. His gentle approach, patience, and expertise were impressive. He communicated well with my son and cleaned his teeth meticulously. Highly recommend Adam for outstanding dental care for children.

Don't go here. Clinical service is good, but they will squeeze you dry of your $$$ and double charge you. Poor management of insurance coverage and redundant costs leading to a poor patient experience. I recommend going to a dentist that puts you first as a patient instead of your wallet. I left this clinic for this very reason.

My last visit was October 31,2022. I am very please to have Gabe as my dental hygienist. I have been a client of his for the past 2 years. He is very knowledgable, patient and takes the time to explain everything to make sure you are comfortable.

I have been to many Dentists I the past but Dr Narang and his staff are the most compassionate individuals that I have met.
My previous dentist was just as good but he retired.
I went to a dentist before being introduced to Dr Narang, the overcharged me for the consult and they were very unprofessional.
Both Dr Narang and his assistant Richard are very thorough and discussed my issues step by step.
I highly recommend Dr Narang and his staff if you require a dentist that is honest and not out there to overcharge you because you have insurance.

Dr. Narang knows his stuff and cares about the work that’s being done! I recently went in for a laser gum removal procedure and was taken care of by his staff in all aspects. I’m loving the results so far. Not every dentist has this much skill or attention to detail - overall very satisfied with the cosmetic work done.

Just updating my review, I had a great whitening visit with Erica. She was super patient and explained everything to me. My teeth needed some whitening before my wedding and im happpy with the results so far!

I had a extraction for my wisdom teeth, felt nothing what so ever and by the second day the pain had already subsided a lot.super friendly and kind people.

Dr. Arun Narang is the best dentist you can find in the City! I promise you! If you are particular and want work done by perfectionists, this is the Doctor and clinic for you. I’ve seen my share of dentists, but him and the dentists in his practice by far are the best! Eileen who works closely with Dr. Narang with cosmetic work is incredibly talented, knowledgeable and so kind…No one has been able to do the work she’s done for my broken front teeth. The whole team in his practice is great! They are very patient/client centric and the patient’s comfort and satisfaction is their number one priority. You can see that! I’ve been Dr. Narang’s patient since 2013 and no complaints, but let me tell you I am not the easiest patient to deal with out there. Just recently I got work done else where due to my lack of patience for my appointment date. I made a big mistake and I had to come back to Dr. Narang to fix the horrible job of another dentist I went to (outside of his practice/clinic). My teeth were all bonded at the back abs looked cricked in the front and it was a nightmare for me. He could see how bad I felt, so he didn’t make me feel more bad and just focused on fixing the problem. Him and Eileen patiently fixed my teeth. It took these poor people and the assistant 2 hours. Eileen is AMAZING! I cannot believe the work they did and how it turned out. I thought there was no hope, but yet again they did their magic. In his practice you will only find amazing and knowledgeable Doctors, Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants. My Dental Hygienist from his clinic, Ela ROCKS! The administrative team is very professional, helpful and pleasant. As a patient, you want to receive good and trust worthy service, be comfortable and cared for by the professionals who are working on your teeth while you’re on their chair and at this place you get all of that! Highly recommend!

I've had a couple issues after a minor procedure at Dr. Arun's office, but I don't think that was at the fault of the staff! I would still definitely recommend this clinic.

I came in with an emergency appointment and he made sure to talk me through everything that needed to be done as well as ensuring that I’m comforted and have no pain. He’s incredible so make sure to make an appointment with him whenever you can!

Dr. Narang has the friendliest and most efficient staff. One feels very well taken care of as the staff members rotate around you for their assigned jobs. I have had only one appointment so far, being a new patient, but the experience has been wonderful.

They gave me $5 to Tim's to put a 5 star review. Editing it down to 3 due to the lack of transparency around pricing (they never tell you prices in advance and then you are stuck at the counter after an appointment with a wild bill) and lack of empathy from the dentist. Their actual dental work is good. Hygienists and receptionists are generally great.

I got my wisdom teeth removed all 4 and it was amazing. I didnt feel anything during the procedure. Definitely will be back.

I heard a lot of this clinic after a bad experience at another clinic. This clinic handles their patients very well. Dr Makar is very good and explains very well. He makes his patients feel very comfortable.

Superb experience with this clinic and doctor Makar. He did root canal for my wife. He explained everything and made us at ease.

We visited SmileByDesign for my 7 year old daughter for half yearly dental hygiene, X-Rays and then serial extraction. Dr. Makar and his assistant Ms. Ring were very professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Makar is highly experienced and great with kids. Extraction took less than 10 minutes and child didn't feel a thing. I highly recommend visiting this place for all your dental requirements for the whole family - adults and children.

Great experience! I wasn't sure if my insurance had enough to cover the work needee and they made sure to check with them quickly before proceeding with the work that needed to be done. I love this place, my family have been patients for over 20 years. Dr narang is the BEST dentist ever. All procedures done on my children were painless and perfect. Every procedure is painless and the staff are always positive and caring.

What a worst experience and ridicules and a bunch of unprofessional. Services are ridicules at this dentist. They give you lower prices to book you and don't even ask you for any additional services and charges you higher prices they are quoted and for any untold services. Please stay away from these unprofessionals. If you still decided go to them, please make sure to get everything in writing from them when you book. Never seen such a unprofessional work and lies from a DR, Clinic. We have faced three times just giving them benefit of doubt first two times but they are professionals to do these kind of tactics to get most out of your pocket. Good luck going to the.

The process during Covid was very thorough, allowing me to feel well taken care of while safe. The hygienist, Marilyn, was attentive and caring. She made me feel at ease and explained in detail everything she was doing and thinking. I had 3 visits at Smile by Design and the three with Dr Mina and all I can say is he's just the best dentist I have ever seen, recently I did a wisdom tooth extraction and 2 root canals and i didn't feel any pain at all, everything was done quickly with a smile.

Having a great dentist makes a world of difference between not wanting to go to, and dreading your appointment, to, not minding about appointment.
Dr Makar is awesome and is really good at what he does. I'm glad to have found him and kinda look forward to seeing him again.

Staff are nice and friendly.

Office is well setup for these unfortunate times we are under. They have plexiglass inbetween the staff and patients, and supply hand sanitizer when you walk in. They even have a cool text system to tell you when to come in for your appointment so their waiting room can maintain a 6 foot distance.

Operation is very well organized. Remote check in is fast and efficient. Check up was quick. In and out fast with no fears of covid. Very well done in this “new normal”.

Kathy was excellent as always.very friendly and informative. Kathy took time to walk us through the process making my 13 year old confident and enjoy her big change in life that could have been a scary otherwise. We will definately refer Kathy to friends and family.

I haven’t been to a dentist in 15 years because of my EXTREME fear of pain/dentists. I was ashamed to show him my teeth, but Dr. Nurang put me at ease right away & assured me I wouldn’t be in any pain!
So far, I’ve had 2 long appointments for cleaning and to start all the work needed (root canals, cracked teeth, a billion cavities and 2 implants lol). Dr. Nurang has done almost half the work so far & I have to say, I felt absolutely nothing while he was working on my teeth & they already look and feel so much better. I can’t wait until all the work is done & I can smile with confidence again! I would recommend Smile by Design/Dr. Nurang and his team in a heartbeat! Nicest people in the world!
One more comment.if you are scared of Covid,
Dr. Nurang went above and beyond what was necessary for health and safety measurements! Each room has its own air purifier and they did some renovations to make each dental suite self contained. Staff are all in masks and constantly cleaning/sanitizing, and it seems like they book appointments so there is little to no contact with other patients. I had absolutely no fear of covid while visiting his office. I can’t thank Dr. Nurang and associates enough for taking such good care of me. I’m so grateful!
