Dr. Boulos Medical Spa

If I could give one piece of advice it would be to NEVER go to this clinic. Going to this clinic forever changed my life as my body got deformed and I have now been living with the consequences for over 2 years.

I went in for a coolscuplting procedure on my back April of 2021 for what I thought would be a quick and easy procedure. However, within a few months I ended up getting PAH which is essentially where instead of the fat cells getting smaller, they get bigger and harder. This resulted in me having huge hard bulges sticking out of my back in the shape of the applicator that Dr. Boulos applied. It is a completely devastating and life changing condition and I wish Dr. Boulos would have talked to me in detail about it.

However, what surprises me the most was Dr. Boulos take on the situation. When I got my procedure done she was so sweet however when I went back to ask if I developed PAH she was absolutely cold and terrible.

Allergan (the company who makes the coolscuplting machines) has a program where if you get PAH you can get help but a surgeon needs to assess the area and fill out a two part form. So I went back and asked if I could see my before pictures. She just gave me the iPad with EVERY clients pictures on it and told me to go through it to find mine. I then showed her pictures I took that morning so we could compare how much bigger the area got. However, she tried to gaslight me by saying my pictures were old so I then showed her my back in person. However, she blew me off and told me to get out and there’s nothing she can do as “sometimes that happens”. I asked if she could assess the area and fill out the form. She denied to assess the area but said she’d fill out part of the form regarding the procedure when she has time.

I then went to a different surgeon who assessed the area and filled out the part of the form regarding the PAH. They sent it to Allergan and now we were just waiting on Dr. Boulos part.

MONTHS went by and Allergan called me stating they will close my claim due to Dr. Boulos not sending in her information. They gave me a week to go speak to her in person. I called her explaining the importance of the situation as I’ve had these bulges for almost a year. She told me she will do it when “she has time”.

4 days later my boyfriend decided to book an appointment with her in person for the next day. As soon as she recognized me she told me to “get out, appointments are for clients only and I’m not a client because I’m not going to spend money. ” I told her I’ve already spent $1000’s at her clinic and asked her again to please fill out the form. I told her I can fill in all the information myself if she’s busy but all I need is the machine barcode number and the type of applicator used. She started screaming told me she’s busy, can’t do it, that I’m not a person and that I’m not allowed to make an appointment.

That’s when I broke. I don’t think I’ve cried that hard in my life. I waited months as my PAH continued to grow and she was the only person who could help me but refused. I called Allergan while at the clinic crying and they suggested I hand the phone to her and they could talk to her but she refused. They then suggested to get a lawyer involved.

2 days later Dr. Boulos FINALLY agreed to fill out the form. That process took roughly a year from the date I had coolsculpting done to the date she filled out the form.

I am writing this review for the sole purpose to inform others that getting an “easy noninvasive procedure” might turn out to be the worst decision of your life. Now I need to get an invasive correction surgery that is not only going to cost me 1000’s, be incredibly painful and need ample recovery time but I will also have scars for the rest of my life.

Please, if you’re considering coolsculpting go to a clinic who truly cares about their clients and do your research. I’m part of a PAH support group on Facebook and I highly suggest joining in order to hear other people horror stories. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. You never know if it could happen to you.

I have been going to this location for almost a year now and I have been getting laser hair removal treatment from Anna. I am dark skinned and was worried that the treatment would not work. However, the hair in my treatment areas are a lot thinner and I do not have to use a razor as often. If you are looking for good results, I highly recommend this location!

Dr. Boulous and all the staff are incredible. Very honest, helpful and offer options without being pushy. I originally went to see Dr. Bolous for botox, she used less units then I was receiving at another spa and the results are better, I find her to be honest and very kind. I also am receiving laser hair removal for my upper lip, Anna is amazing, I’ve only had 2 treatments thus far and have literally no hair growing back. I highly recommend going here, everyone is friendly, honest and helpful and they always have good promotions on:)

Today was my first time ever getting Botox and she never told me anything I wasn’t supposed to do after procedure. It’s super upsetting to know you trust someone to literally inject you with Botox and she don’t inform you on anything. I will not be returning, I will take my money and give it someone who ensures every customer leaves with the right information and being satisfied. I wouldn’t go to this doctor. She clearly don’t care about clients.

Anna performed my laser hair removal and she was fantastic! She pays close attention to detail, is very knowledgeable and explains things as she goes. I highly recommend going to see her!
