Dr. Collin Hong and his team have done a fantastic job excising the lipoma from the back of my neck and abdomen in one session. Through referrals from my own patients I came to Dr. Hong. Everything went smoothly from the initial consultation to the surgery. He is caring, passionate, cosmetic focused and very knowledgeable in his field of work. Appointments are created to arrange a time that works best for the availability of both patient and doctor. The fact that my partner had been waiting 2 hours and had not been seen yet is ridiculous. Punctuality is not a thing in this office, don’t waste your time here. When asked for a refund, it was declined and was told to he’d be seen soon. But when asked for the specific time they could not give that information. After demanding for a refund a second time 20 minutes later, it was finally given. It’s quite funny after looking at the reviews later on, this seems to be one of the main reasons the reviews are not good. I would never refer this place to anyone. I will also tell our doctor going forward they should not refer this place. If you want to improve your clinic be on time with your patients, customer service is so important for your reputation. 5 stars for wasting our time

Upon arriving at Dr. Hong's office, I found the office was clean and inviting. The only down side as with any specialist office, was the wait. I was escorted into a secondary examination room for another wait.
I have to inform you that I also have a disability and the wait was killing me.
Finally Dr Hong entered and he introduced himself. He examined my back confirmed Lypoma and was ready to remove it today.
The procedure was performed in less than an hour with precision.
I understand now why we had waited a long time in the reception area.
Dr Hong is a very informative and
kind man.
I had my follow up where he removed my sutures. Again painless. Results are remarkable. The incision site has healed well.
I have now recommended that my sister in law see him for consultation.

Dr. Hong treated age spots on my face. It usually took less than five minutes, but
I had to wait an hour or more (even three hours) for treatment. Still, it seemed to be working, so I continued to going to the dr. After 5-6 treatments, hypopigmentation (white spots) started. The more treatments I got, the more white spots I got. I had to stop getting treatment from him. Sadly I still have hypopigmentation on my face. Dr. Hong needs a little more attention to make the skin tone evenly.

Had carpal tunnel release surgery first on my left, then 2 months later on my right. Appointment was quick, Dr. Hong and his staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I was amazed really with how quickly I healed, and how little pain there was post op. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Hong! He’s very knowledgeable in his profession and very patient with his clients. His staff are also very friendly and approachable, and explains everything thoroughly. Prices are very reasonable too! Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend!

Canceled my appointment and had to reschedule, they called to ask if I am able to make it earlier to this appointment, I am unable.long story short I ended up canceling the appointment, they call to ask if I am able to come earlier after I told them I am unable to make it earlier? Have already cancel the appointment, poorly run office with little to no communications it seems

Got to question these reviews as if you go to rate my MD, they are all one star. I tend to believe that rate my MD is more accurate since it is anonymous so people are more truthful reviews.

Dr. Hong is amazing. I'm lucky to be one of his million patients. He will just not give you the best treatment but also best advice in life.

I love my eyes. Dr Hong was very efficient, but caring and had a great sense of humour. I need my eyes to be open bigger due to droopy eyes causing the eyelashes to irritate the eye balls and one to swell because of the irritation. I got to choose my eyes which I wanted to remain asian.in the end I choose my mother's eyes and a stock picture that were very close. Dr Hong was able to blend both and Now I have these wonderful eyes. The surgery was less painful than the removal of the stitches. The assistants were very careful and follow up was wonderful. They called twice during the day to make sure I was alright and not suffering in pain, Instructions for post surgery were explicit in how to ice the lids and the frequency as well as the eye drops. Excellent post operation care by Dr Hong was given with humour.

The only point I would stress is that the clinic does not offer advice about lubricants that are hypoallergenic I did find that there are allergy free eye drops but I was able to use my eye drops for dry eye from my optometrist. The night ointment is also available in a hypoallergenic form. Just ask your eye doctor what it is. They do sell it.

Overall the surgery and Dr Hong's work is excellent. After 10 mo. I have no scars. The clinic assistants are top notch. All work very hard and are very efficient.they are all asian and seem to be short and curt. That is their style. It is not being rude. It's being asian.

Dr. Hong is a wonderful, caring doctor and I feel so fortunate to be one of his patients.
I have known him for over thirty years and have had two successful surgeries performed as well as several procedures.
My husband calls him a genius.

Dr. Collin Hong how come you don't remember doing surgery on my eyes, when I come to your office several times and you said you not going to touch my eyes because I said I m in pain. I told you I want my money back and you said you not going to give me back, after you disfigured my face.

This is totally ridiculous, scheduled an appointment at 11 and arrived on time. Been waiting and waiting for almost 2 hours and still hasn’t got the surgery started yet. So what’s the point of scheduling an appointment when you are making your clients waiting for hours?

Thank youDr. Hong. The joint finger was big obstacle for many of my normal works. Already a surgery was done when I was 3 years old. But it was not a successful one.

Some surgeons whom my father consulted earlier suggested that some nerves may get affected during surgery. So my father was not interested in another surgery.

You did the surgery successfully.
I am very comfortable now. The fingers move freely. I am able to do my works better than before. I am hopeful of getting more better and easier movements in coming days.

Wait times are sometimes unpredictable but overall Dr. Hong has the clients best interest. I had a BA and lift, some complications not related to the surgery itself and the clinic and Dr. Hong have been very understanding and reasonable in helping me fix the issue.

Dr. Colin Hong performed blepharoplasty on me just recently. I am very much happy with my results, it helped me gain some confidence.

I had a gynecomastia procedure and it was done 4 weeks after my initial consultation with Dr. Hong. It was my first plastic surgery so I had worries about the procedure, but Dr. Hong and staff showed pictures of previous patients, and they seemed to be great results. I went ahead with the procedure, and the results were indeed great. My chest became flat, just minor scars and muscle cramps but these come with the procedure I'm sure they will go away with time. I have been having post-op appointments with Dr. Hong and he seems to be happier about my results than I am.

Dr. Hong is very friendly and I had a question which I was given his personal number to text, and he responded in a prompt manner. Him and the staff are always busy, so there could be long waiting time at the clinic but that just shows how skillful he is as a surgeon and there's a lot of demand for his services. I would definitely recommend him.

Terrible treatment, very disappointed in his care. I have a wide local incision surgery done by him back in 2017. He didn’t suture well, my sutures came apart and my scar looks much worse then I could have looked. Also very poor bedside manners, he rashes from one or to the next and overlooks himself. He doesn’t t care about he’s patients. I waited 3 h at his clinic.

Just recently I had my breast augmentation at Dr. Hong’s cosmetic surgery clinic and there’s nothing I could say but positive feedback about the whole experience. Dr. Hong has explained to me the surgery process as well as his techniques in performing breast implants. The result is very natural just exactly what I wanted. I had an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and a double eyelid surgery by Dr Colin Hong and want to thank him for his beautiful work. It's been a few months now and I am very pleased with my results. My Asian double eyelids are very natural with no scars. As a health care provider, I can tell he cares for his patients and he is an excellent professional surgeon. He is attentive and meticulous with his surgical techniques. He makes sure you do well after surgery, see you multiple times to ensure there are no complications. His Operating room is up to hospital standard and he has an accountable OR team. I want to also thank Dr. Lau (Anaesthesiologist) and Dr Wu. I was so nervous but he did a wonderful job putting me to sleep and waking me up. The nurses, (especially Lynn) are all very nice, patient and answers all the questions I have. I would definitely recommend his to my family and friends!

First of all, my appointment was for 4.15 and as i walked into the reception, i was told doctor starts at 4.50.
I waited about 4 months for this appointment and he simply talked to me in about 6 minutes. He looked like was in a hurry or didnt like my face. He said i should get a shot or something in my wrist and didnt give details of the treatment. On top of that, left me alone in the room and i was expecting him to come back to tell me appointment was over or give me more details of the treatment. I dont understand how a guy like that acting like a health specialist in the community but see patients like that. Look at his reviews at this page? Ridiculous, Ontario Health authorities should investigate this and punish them, not only this one, but all physicians. I would never recommend him to anybody and i will let my family doctor know. Other doctor has told about his reviews, and now i know what she was talking about.

They have great staffs that greets you promptly. They also offer chat supports that answers my queries like a snap of my fingers. They offer great service and I am satisfied with the result.

Hands down one of the most knowledgeable, professional, compassionate doctors and staff. As well as talented and passionate about his Art.

Some people complain about his direct approach in his initial consultation, but he's not here to upsell you or feed you with false confidance, like some other institutions. He is direct and realistic ; he gives you the facts and prepares you for what to expect.

The day of the surgery, he takes a lot more time discussing with you your likes and dislikes and dream outcome.

The staff are helpful and patient. I must of called 100 times the week of mysirgery with anxiety provoked questions. They happily answered all my questions and reassured me with their kindness and knowledge. During the surgery the nurses where compassionate and very caring. Like having your mom with you lol.

I highly recommend him and his team!

L did the eyes surgery in here. It is a wonderful experience！ Dr. Hong is the most professional doctor l have ever seen. The surgery went well，and l felt really relax in this process.l also received the professional after-care from the nurse. Strong recommendation！

Got a referral from family doctor to check on a previous breast implamt work. Booked an appointment at 11.50 and waited until 12.50 which is already unacceptable. Doctor came in and talked for less than 5 mins while confirming nothing need to be done. All of that and wasted $80 for registration fee? Absolutely ridiculous cuatomer service and waste of time and money. AVOID THIS IF YOU CAN!

If you are looking for a talented surgeon this is the place to go! Dr. Hong ensured that my minor procedure was painless, quick and left no scarring. The office is extremely clean/ well kept, and the staff are very friendly. I am so happy with my results and feel so much more confident! 5/5 stars, would highly recommend!

Dr. Hong is a very experienced plastic surgeon. I went to see him and he helped me greatly with my procedure. His clinic practices social distancing and gives you a mask upon entry. In fact, they make you wait in your car until it is your turn which is a nice safety precaution. Overall I felt very safe being at his North York clinic and in his care. Thank you so much, Dr. Hong.

Deplorable customer service. I called to book an appointment and at no time did the receptionist answer my simple question about the Dr. 's availability. Instead, bombarded about $$$$$ five times. And she had the audacity to yell at me on phone when I asked her about why she was so much interested in the money topic.

I had an appointment at 11: 00 a.m. I've been here for an hour and twenty minutes and they still have no idea when I will see the doctor. Terrible.

I think Dr. Colin Hong deserves a 6 stars review, as he is knowledgeable, he knows what he is doing, he listened how I wanted at the beginning while I was so worry about the outcome, he actually delivered exactly how I wanted it. The result is fantastic and super natural. I love it so so so much, btw Ling and all the staffs who work there were very friendly and helpful, especially Ling, she responded my text everytime when I have questions and concerns, this is what we call customer service which not being offered in most plastic surgery clinics.

I had an eye surgery done lately and recovered uneventfully. Dr. Hong is an extraordinary surgeon! I consider the most important qualities for a cosmetic surgeon are knowledge, capability (technical skills) and good ethical grounding. Dr. Hong has them all. After getting an appointment through referral 2 month in advance, we showed up at the office 30 min ahead of appointment, 1 hour passed the appointment time and still nobody calls us.
Why doctors are allowed to pile patients like their biohazard waste?
UPDATE: 2 PM appointment turned to 4 PM and no signs of doctor.

Went to do my undereyes.it was a horrible experience.the needle wasn't in my veins i feel everytime he tied the stitches and when i told him it hurts he's telling me not to move.and he keeps telling the nurse to give me more cc.i could see the smoke from when he tied the stitches and burned it.when he was finished a saw that the needle wasn't in my vein.it had the tape on but the needle was not in my vein.one of the nurse was shock and was asking how did it came out.no wonder i was awake through the whole procedure and was feeling so much pain.i could feel him using the needle poking in and out of my jaws.i went there to remove the bags from under my eyes i never tell him to put no fat in my jaw.now one side of my face is bigger than one i have terrible pain in one of my eye.he did the injection to melt the fat under my chin and told me the fat gonna melt and then tighten.it melt but it did not tighten.went back to him couple weeks ago and ask him if its going to be like this he said yes because if he give me anymore injection i am going to feel pain.everytime i look in the mirror it makes me upset to see how dr.hong messed up my face.i want my money back.he is one doctor working by himself so he is rushing to do the next patient.wouldn't recommend him.my friend wanted to go there i told her look at my face.wouldn't recommend him.zero star.

I'm very pleased with the service I've been receiving at Dr. Hong's office. I believe Dr. Hong is working in a politically dysfunctional provincial medical system and despite this, his compassion for helping people shines through. He gets full marks for this.

I had both hands done, carpal tunnel surgery. Wasn't a big deal. I waited a long time before it was done. I was scared of pain. Almost no pain. Dr. Colin Hong was awsome person and professional surgeon.
