Dr. Cory Torgerson

This guy is a snake. He flips on you once he botches your surgery and you can't afford more surgery to fix his own mistakes. Stay away at all costs. He really deserves his own documentary on Netflix for medical fraud and malpractice.

The procedure was fine, however, the attitude of Dr. Torgerson and his staff are terrible. They view their patients merely as cash cows.

RESEARCH HIM WITH THE COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS BEFORE YOU BOOK. You'll see that he has numerous complaints filed against him. Read ALL the horrible one star reviews this man gets on here as well. Unfortunately, it's far too easy to buy five star reviews, and anyone who puts five little stars next to their own name on their instagram handle, might care about optics. This man should NOT be practicing medicine as he is completely incompetent and mentally unhinged!

I had my own traumatic experience with him that I'm not going to go into detail about today. I'm also choosing to use a fake name to protect my identity, so don't believe a respond that states they have no record of me using their clinic. Believe me, I did use their clinic and was astounded by this man's temper, unprofessionalism and complete lack of medical knowledge. I still can't believe a doctor this terrible is still practicing. Hopefully it's only a matter of time before his license is revoked. Please, for all of you who have had an equally awful experience with this man, contact the College of Physicians and file a complaint.

Do not go to this clown. Cory Torgeson, He ruined my face. He was supposed to remove a chain plant and put another one ovaries and he turn on my surgery and now I can’t close my eyes properly. Do not go to the sky. He is terrible if I could give them a zero stars I want.

I love how welcoming and punctual the staff is. They make me feel
so comfortable and welcomed and that all my needs will be satisfied immediately. I feel like we’re on a friendly level more than anything and every appointment I have I greatly look forward to seeing everyone again and saying hello. Update: Generally I have to be okay with my results, but wish I went to a surgeon that solely performs rhinoplasty. I have very noticeable asymmetrical nostrils and my nose looks crooked.

I’ve wanted this pretty much my entire life and finally decided it was time. The office staff are so attentive and prompt to give you tea or anything you need when you arrive.
Consultation - informative, realistic, and Dr. Torgerson listened. I had an image in my mind, had fiddled with a bunch of photoshopped images and hoped he’d see what I saw. He did.
3D Imaging - I opted in to do this at my consultation because I was pretty firm on my desire to go through with it. It was worth it for me to get a real look at my prospective profile, different angles, and tell him what I didn’t like. Heck, after I left to talk with his assistant I was having second thoughts on the 3D model and they squeezed me in again to raise my concerns. He made adjustments to the image and I loved the result - no second guesses after that.
Procedure - those nurses/doctors/anesthesiologist make the experience. Wow. They were so kind and funny and sweet, I couldn’t believe it. Made it so seamless and easy to relax, honestly. Even right before, I told Dr. Torgerson my additional worries, and he gave me a realistic answer plus the reassurance I’d love it.
Day 10 into recovery - I do like my nose.
I am thankful to you and all your staff for the positive experience.

Do not, ever, go with the financing options they recommend. I was disappointed in this even being offered to me. They said the companies they suggested were competitive and hungry for customers - I have never had someone be so wrong. These companies charged a $2,000 initiation fee + $50 per month admin fee + interest. At the end, you’re paying 50% your loan amount in interest. That’s borderline a shark loan/illegal with a loophole. If needed, go with an online company like Borrowell and you’ll thank yourself. Dr. /Staff, highly reconsider whatever partnership you have with these companies. It made me second guess this practice, being recommended something so.sketchy.

I spent $1500 up front for HRT. With Cory Torgerson.

Had the blood work come back as normal and therefore no Hormone Replacement Therapy was required.

As the only service that was provided was the consultation ($150) and the blood work Req.

I assumed I would receive a full refund less the $150 consult fee.

They only returned half of my $1500.

When I asked what services was provided to justify a $600 fee.
The response was administration fees.

$600 bucks to order blood work seem a little egregious.

I would not recommend or return on principal alone to this place.

If you want the best results look no further Dr. Torgerson IS the best! His work is flawless! Obsessed with my new nose! Cannot thank him enough! He made the entire process so simple and easy. Best facial surgeon in town

I don't even know where to begin in stating how pleased I am that I chose Dr. Cory Torgerson as my surgeon for a procedure that I have wanted for an extremely long time but just did not have the courage to pull the trigger on. I have been a very successful health care professional myself for approximately the past 30 years. I completely understand the scope of health care and treatment, especially as it relates to cosmetic procedures. What I especially know is that a considerable amount of the time, treatment/procedure outcomes do not meet the expectations that patients have instilled in their minds prior to treatment. This may be merely from what the patient actually envisions prior or can be attributed to how the surgeon handles the initial consult and consent procedure related to what they are going to do for that particular patient.
I travelled 4 hours several times specifically for this doctor and my case was epic in that the outcome completely blew my expectations out of the water. I am thrilled with the results. I am grateful that I did my research and sought out an individual who is so heavily trained and is a master at his craft. From the first consultation I not only was comforted by his confidence but additionally by the time he spent to answer all of my questions and obtain full informed consent from me. He was honest and upright and has a character and soul like no other that I have met. This is because HE CARES! Dr. T.was not just there to provide a service but the comfort that he gave me to move forward was outstanding. He showed so much interest in me pre and post-operatively and he possesses a trait that a lot of clinicians and surgeons do not. That is that he LISTENS and I noticed that as he listens he consistently does not just listen to your desires but he listens so he can get to know you and see what kind of individual you are as well. I could clearly see how this helped him with the entire process.

I could write many more paragraphs here but I will stop now. I just want to say that I give Dr. Torgerson my highest recommendation and I truly feel that any patient seeking the treatment that he provides will see things as I did and be as satisfied as I am should Dr. T.have the good fortune of their acceptance for having him as their surgeon of choice. It's all about the DNA and he certainly without a doubt has the right DNA for the field that he chose.

In addition, the entire practice is a very well-oiled machine from being welcomed to this gorgeous facility each time right off of the elevator by Welma then to the front desk and the photographer, Anurag at the initial consult to Brian and then the entire surgical team of nurses. Great Vibe there and a real happy place. Nicole the surgical coordinator made herself available at any time by phone or email to answer any questions and her response time is like I have never experienced before. I had more contact with Nicole than anyone else through the process and her compassion for me and the attention she provided gave me exceptional reassurance and I am grateful for that.

I love Dr torgerson he is amazing but it’s not him I had a problem with it’s Sasha one of the male injectors. Went to my appointment 10 min late which I let them know about. I’ve been coming here for YEARS and they ended up taking another patient and making me wait for over 45 minutes when I missed work for this. I would understand if it was 20 or 30 mins or even without notice but they completely gave away my appointment without letting me know and I was waiting inside for so long. The blonde tall lady was yelling at me as I was making another appointment on the phone and leaving bc I was going to wait an hour (so rude) saying I should take responsibility for being late (yelling across the hall). Which I get I was a few minutes late and I did let them know as soon as we saw the exit was closed on the Uber and was going to be late (things happen) but we could have finished the appointment in the rest of my time booked and been on time for the next patient. I’m not coming back again unless I have Dr torgerson himself and will be going elsewhere for my non surgical procedures

Worst experience ever! He previously botched so many girls by doing lazy job when doing their rhinoplasties. He should NOT be allowed to perform any surgeries. BE AWARE! Dr. Torgerson was absolutely amazing. Throughout my whole process he was available for questions and made me feel so calm and knowledgeable with what was going to happen. Absolutely wonderful experience! A snowboarding accident left me with a wonky nose and after Dr. T worked his magic it looks AMAZING! Everyone thinks I’m my (much younger) Parisian sister! The staff is awesome and have been outstanding helping me through every step of the process!

My procedure and experience with Dr. Torgerson. I had done a Blepharoplasty a little over 4 years ago. The surgery supposedly went well. I did my follow up 2 weeks later, the scars were very noticeable as expected. I did another check up with him 2 mths later. The scars are still very noticeable. I was told the scars will slowly disappear above as time went by. Take a look at my current photo, 4 years later (Nov 10,2021) and nothing has changed. I am still scarred. Why did I not deal with this issue previously and why am I writing this review now? The reason is I had moved out of the country and did not return to Toronto. This had obviously bothered me for many years and I had learned to accept it. But finally, I couldn’t deal with this any further and went to visit 3 different plastic surgeons and they all said the same thing, the cut should not have been so high, it should of been cut near the lids/ folds of the eyelids where the scars would of been hidden. This was suppose to be a simple procedure but instead, i am scarred. They say they cannot get rid of the scars he had made because it is too high. They can do the same procedure and try their best to improve the scars but it will still be visible. I am not writing this to get any kind of compensation. But this is a warning to all.

Anna completed the Miradry treatment for me a couple of months ago and I am blown away by the results! I have had hyperhidrosis since being a teenager and have tried everything from Drysol to Botox and nothing worked. Miradry has pretty much eliminated all of my sweating and I'm finally free to wear whatever I want. I only wished I would have done it sooner. I highly recommend.

Overall experience was really good! I kind of wish there was more info given at follow up appointments- I feel as though when I go to them, there wasn’t really a big need to attend since no info is really given to me. But other than that, I love it here!

Aftet many consultations with other plastic surgeons, I chose Dr. Torgerson right after our initial appointment with him and his team. Breanne, their client coordinator, initially met with me to discuss what procedures I wanted done - not only did she go over my questions, but also provided alternatives in case I wasn’t ready. She’s extremely knowledge and hilarious, and genuinely cares. They both understood my needs/wants but also approached the surgical expectations realistically with a high degree of risk management. Both made me feel comfortable and felt far from a sales pitch. Lowkey makes me want to quit my job and work there.

Got my rhinoplasty and buccal fat removed in March 2021, and could be any happier. The final result was more than I expected and the healing process has been great - any questions I had have been answered faster than my ex trying to text me to hang out.

Vibes and results so good I drove out of my way (1.5 h) to get my fillers done by them and have dedicated them as my primary go to.

I had a procedure done last March, and can I just say, my Nurse (Anna) was so accommodating, knowledgeable and professional all throughout. I asked so much questions and she answered them with no hesitation. My procedure was non invasive but local anesthesia was done and she made sure I was distracted from the pain. I recommended Dr Cory’s clinic to a friend of mine and even she had the most wonderful service! I would definitely recommend Dr Cory Torgerson’s clinic for any facial procedures to everyone. Every staff here is also very polite and kind.

I just had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Dr Torgerson and team Trixia, Laura, and his support staff (nurse and photographer). He might be an excellent surgeon, but the Thermal (Cautery, RFA, Coblation) techniques he uses to reduce Inferior Turbinates causes irreversible damage to Turbinate Mucosa and individual would develop EMPTY NOSE SYNDROME. EMPTY NOSE SYNDROME is a disease that will destory your life.

I strongly advise anyone considering rhinoplasty to stay away from this surgeon. He promised me a nose that I did NOT get. He screwed up my breathing, gave me a slightly crook nose & uneven nostrils. I thought I did my homework but I later learned his 4/5 star reviews were all fake. I have read and heard some horrifying stories of what he's done to other patients noses and I strongly encourage everyone to stay away from this doctor. His 1 year revision "free" surgery is also not true - you still have to pay for the anesthesia cost. Long story short - horrible experience, he gives everyone the same plastic uneven barbie doll nose. He's a complete fraud who needs to be called out. STAY AWAY.

I was very worried about having rhinoplasty done. After doing lots of research I came across Dr. Torgerson. From the consultation to all the follow up appointments the staff was always so nice and professional. I was able to get an idea of how I would look after the procedure with 3D imaging. Before surgery I was given all the information for a full recovery. The clinic was extremely clean. All necessary protocols were always followed. The staff helped make me feel safe and comfortable before entering and after leaving surgery. I just went for my nine month follow up and I couldn’t be more happier with the results! I recommended Dr Torgerson to family and friends because of this amazing experience!

Let me just say that I consulted with many surgeons before Dr. Torgerson, and out of all of them, he was the most welcoming, honest, and comforting. His energy is amazing which is why I decided to go with him (for rhinoplasty) in the first place. I did not regret my decision to go with him at all. First, he spoke with me on several occasions before the procedure so that we were on the same page about what I was going to get out of the surgery. This made me super comfortable and excited for the procedure and for the outcome of it (usually, I would have been more anxious). Now, a year post-op, I am so happy with the results. He gave me a nose that looks perfect for my face (not too small), and I get compliments often. I recommend him to everyone, and trust him completely. Not happy at all and no follow up the way the surgery was done for my skin type was incorrect and there was no follow up. They to much from around my eyes and left the eyelid where it no longer closes correctly. It also looks like my eyes are sunken in and I have to look for someone else to correct this work. I would think twice before having work done here. This man is a butcher I should have know when I saw his face. I had done a laser Co2 with Dr. Torgerson a few months back and the experience was great, friendly staff, clean clinic and Dr. Torgerson and staff is very knowledgeable and available whenever I had further questions or concerns regarding any step of my recovery. I had breathing problems due to a medicine and was desperate to get help. I consulted Dr. Torgerson over video call. He recommended Rhinoseptoplasty with Turbinate Reduction without looking in my nose. I booked the surgery and paid $1000.00 deposit and then wanted to see him before the surgery so he can see inside my nose. I had a in person appointment and he quickly looked inside my nose and said i needed all those surgries. He recommended an outdated & deadly Electrocautery technique to reduce my Inferior Turbinates and alot of people end up getting Empty Nose Syndrome due to these Thermal Techniques. Thermal Techinques cause irreversible damage to Turbinates. I consulted another ENT before getting the surgery from Dr. Torgerson, she told me that my Septum was 90% straight and just needed a minor Turbinate Procedure and sent me for a CT Scan. I am happy i just lost $1000 & did not get anything done from him. Stay away from these people for any Nasal Costmetic & Functional surgeries I don't think they really care what happens after to your nose. I think all these 5 star reviews are fake or paid for to get 5 stars. ALSO NOTICE, THEY DON'T RESPOND TO BAD REVIEWS. THEY ONLY PRAISE THOSE WHO HAVE LEFT 4 & 5 STAR REVIEWS.

It's been almost a year since I had my rhinoplasty with Dr. Torgerson and I couldn't be happier with my decision. My nose has healed beautifully, it suits my face even better than I expected and the whole process has been great. I had a rhinoplasty procedure with Dr. Torgerson in 2019, and ended up having a revision surgery in 2020. All i can say is, start to finish he has been extremely accommodating and helpful for any needs and concerns that have arisen! I went to Cory for a hair transplant and my wife went to Cory for filler. We are both extremely satisfied. The staff at the office are very friendly and polite, and Brian always responds right away to any concerns that we have. Cory has a great eye for aesthetics and we are both very happy with the results. We would highly recommend.

My experience with Dr Torgerson was absolutely amazing! I had a surgical rhinoplasty recently and I could not have chosen a better team for my surgery. Throughout the process, Dr Torgerson and his entire staff were extremely professional and reassuring. As you can imagine, this proved to be a pretty anxious time, but throughout everything the clinic staff were wonderful.

During the consultation, Dr Torgerson and Breanne took time to explain the procedure in great detail and we developed a comprehensive plan about how we would achieve the results I desired. Before and after the procedure, Nicole, the Surgery Coordinator, was excellent when it came to preparing me for the surgery, checking in with me post-op and answering the host of questions that in undoubtedly had. I am so pleased with my results so far and I will be directing people I know to Dr Torgerson for all their cosmetic needs. My experience was 10/10, I couldn’t have been in more capable hands!

Well, He has a bit of knowledge but very arrogant, racist and rude. Not recommending at all. There are a lot of other surgeons with excellent knowledge and better attitude. Not recommending him at all. I don't believe any of the 5-star reviews there are a lot of complaints about him. Please do some research before going to see him. You will find out for yourself.

Please do yourself a favour from avoiding a nightmare! Read all reviews carefully, especially on real self! I’ve never regretted so much in my life then choosing this nightmare doctor. Do not trust him with your face. I got my nose done about a year ago, and after my initial follow up he assured me the look and swelling and everything of my nose will go down it has not. I complained I had extra skin inside like a bubble it has not gone away. My nose also looks nothing like the future imaging he showed me my nose would look like it is cricket and does not feel like my nose after a year and I also have great more breathing problems which I never had to begin with. I couldn’t leave my house for almost 4 months nor go to work because of what he did to my face, the after surgery my eyes stayed blood shot, he left a scar on my nose, and also my nerves were slightly damaged and to this day the roof of my mouth tingles, and my nose doesn’t feel like my nose. This is possibly the worst decision I’ve ever made and now I am paying for it. I have also heard horror stories of mutual friends that I know I’ve got him from the past I honestly do not understand how he is allowed to continue working on people. I’m also happy to say I have pictures of proof of his terrible work, and what my nose “was suppose to look like”. Do not be fooled by the nice office and fake reassurance by anyone there, they just want your money and do not care what happens to you after they get it.

I had the most amazing experience for peel at the clinic. The staff is really pleasant and my clinician Alisa was the best I’ve ever met. She has transformed my skin within months. She is really patient, real and funny. Makes me feel like home everytime. Definitely recommend her and this clinic. Go for it!

I had a few facial chemical peel done at this clinic from Alisa and it was wonderful. I see a dramatic change already. She is amazing!

I got a skin peel done and the results in the first peel it self was much better I expected it to be. The staff is professional and very humble.
