Dr. Craig Stewart

After 5 months to see the Dr they send me a voice mail that my appointment is canceled because the Dr has a surgery at hospital, and they didn't reschedule it, then I have to send emails for that and no response, when you call also no response always answering machine.
Horrible service, unprofessional.

Dr Stewart is amazing, and his staff is great! However I did have to walk in and make my appointment, because their a very busy office, but absolutely loved my experience here.

1st time here and it was amazing. Receptionist and Dr Stewart was very nice, provided great information regarding my ear infection!

Bad front desk staff. No one answers the phone unless you call a million times. Even when they did answer in my case, told them about my ear infection and that i had a semi urgent referral, they asked me to email the referral and since then, i did not receive a response back.

Dr Stewart is amazing. I love him. Out of all the ENT's I've seen over the last 20 years, I chose to stay with him. He's always happy and all smiles. His receptionist Faith is the best I've dealt with in any medical setting. She's nice, helpful and while soft spoken always speaks up for me and my deafness. Everyone at that office is a Gem!

Today was my first time going to Dr. Stewart. I was surprised with how fantastic everything was because of some negative reviews I had read. Dr. Stewart was warm, funny, knowledgeable and made me feel 100% comfortable getting my ears cleaned.

Unprofessionals, irresponsible. I went there for my ear checkup and they recommended to get the MRI after getting that done it’s been 2 months I haven’t received any results. I called them every week and there response is the office is closed due to summer vacation whenever we spoke with the doctor we let you know. How careless and irresponsible they are I can’t imagine if there is any problem with the report how we gonna know without any results.

Very very unprofessional, careless, irresponsible and never answer your phone easily.

Never go there guys look for other doctors you will definitely find better & best than these guys

One state for the worst receptionist who never answer the phone if she does extremely rude.
One state for the doctor, he needs to go back to school and learn some doctor skills also learn to be available more often for patients who are really sick and need to see him. No one like to see him without a reason anyway

Love Dr. Stewart and think he is an amazing doctor. His receptionist however has to be the RUDEST person ever! When I mentioned to her that I thought she was being quite rude, she hung up on me. If you don't like your job, I'm sure there are many out there that can replace you in a minute! This reflects so poorly on someone that has worked very hard to get where he is. I'd be giving that girl her walking papers.

I last went here in November of 2021 regarding a nose surgery that I needed. My parents were told to think it over then call back to book the surgery so I can get on the waitlist. Its been over 6 months and they will not pick up the phone. 6 months wasted where I could have been on the waitlist.

This Doctor is not a professional, gives an appointment after 3 months and then cancels just a day notice and books again after 3 months, happened to me couple of times, This guys should also have some accountability

If you're ever recommended here please decline. My mom passed away and I had to miss an appointment I called several times to tell them I couldn't make it and I got no response. 2 years later they still asked for a no show fee. I just got out of the hospital they have no compassion or care they don't answer phones and the wait times to get an appointment is ridiculous. If I didn't try to call I would understand but I did. The entire process is very stressful I would not recommend my worst enemy.

My mom got referred to Dr Stutart from her family physician to get her nose cauterized by him. 2 days later she is bleeding; a whole cereal bowl full of blood. We rush my mom to the hospital only to find out a blood vessel burst. This isn't normal. She could have bled to death! If you can, stay away from this doctor! I have had other family members referred to him and have issues after their procedures. Will definitely be reporting him to the College of Physicians. He should be out of practice!

This is a direct recommendation to Dr. Stewart if he has to retain his reputation, trust and confidence among his patients. Hire competent receptionist, please Look into how your receptionists schedule patient appointments.
My son Matthew had an appointment scheduled for today 2pm. Thursday June 10th. We had waited over 3 months for this. A day prior I get a mysterious phone message saying that since my appointment was cancelled in April if I would like to reschedule.
This appointment had never been cancelled from our end. A phone call today confirmed the case that someone called in and cancelled it and anyway the doctor doesn't see any patients on Thusday. The call we got a from the receptionist 3 months back had us confirmed for today. We had marked it immediately on our calendars as it was a very uncomfortable condition for my son which affects his quality of life, I believe and for any person who seeks a schedules with Dr. Stewart.
In times like these where specialists
appointment and wait times are considerably long anyone can relate to the frustration and disappointment one feels waiting 3 months for the appointment only to be pushed further back by another 2 months.
What guarantee I wait another 2 months only to have it cancelled a day prior by a mysterious call left on their answering system to cancel. Using such tactics for whatever reason on your end and for the person responsible you should be ashamed and get better educated on the responsibility you carry when you signed up for this job.

Although doctor is nice but the receptionist is rude and arrogant.she seems to have some attitude problem.we met doctor few months back and called the clinic to schedule follow up appointment. I explained entire case to her, she abruptly disconnected saying doc will review and get back. After that, we did not receive any call or message, i am not sure if she even pass all patients calls/messages to doctor.

Dr. Stewart is very skillful doctor. Very steady with his hands to precisely insert camera in the nose for the examination. I have known him for about 6 years. He is the best ENT that I have known. He is very happy person which makes him do his job as a professional and not a fed up doctor hating his profession. Happiness gives any doctor an edge over the rest. His staff the Caucasian woman needs some work on communication skills. I do not agree with 1 star review. It’s not fair to leave a review based on the secretary’s attitude. And besides he did take care of your sons tonsil surgery after the fact. But why not tell the truth that he brought your son immediately after you started complaining about the swelling which is normal. So you will lie and tell the whole story. You ppl come into this country and free health care and you from don’t even have clean water. Dont worry karma will do the rest.

Anyhow, Craig is a very caring person and likes to advise on other health issues asides from his specialty. I mentioned something in the past and he gave advice, which no other doctor mentioned. I really thank him for his dedication as a medical doctor.

From the first appointment to yesterday’s sinus surgery, Dr Stewart was informative, patient and

friendly. One quickly gets the idea he is very competent. It has been my luck that I was referred

to Dr Stewart.

Appointments, including pre surgery confab, were, again, informative and procedures were

thoroughly explained. I was always encouraged to ask any questions. I never felt rushed in

spite of a busy schedule.

The reception, though busy, was friendly and helpful.

Doctor Stewart does a great job, I have full trust in his ear work. The staff is friendly, the office is clean, and appointments are typically kept within 10 minutes of my scheduled time.

What a wonderful Doctor! He carefully explained my situation and what the prognosis was. His audiologist was professional and kind. His two receptionists greeted me with a friendly smile and we very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Stewart! 5 stars!

Dr. Stewart is a fantastic physician and I've found his office staff to be unfailingly friendly and professional. I've dealt with ear and sinus issues since early childhood and he's by far the most attentive, caring doctor I've had the pleasure of seeing. Dr. Stewart was recommended to me by a work associate years ago and I've since recommended him to a number of colleagues who've also reported very positive experiences.

Dr. Stewart was great. Explained to me exactly what the procedure I need would be and answered all of my questions without being in a rush as it was not a simple surgery. The receptionists have a bit of an attitude issue but nonetheless they do their job. Just wish they were a bit more kind and enthusiastic about their work.

Very poor customer service. My son's tonsils surgery was done by Dr. Stewart on Monday and upon consistent swear pain in ears for 3 days I visited with son to doctor's office. The lady at reception said it's normal to have pain. I insisted that it's more than normal but she said I can't disturb doctor until the end of his day and she will call me with solution by the end of their day at 1pm. No one called and when I went again at 1.15 same day and they had locked main door. Totally irresponsible behaviour.

Dr Stewart is a nice guy so does the receptionist.
I am not sure why I found so much negative reviews here and RateMD.

He thoroughly examined me and listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions.

I got an appointment for Mid November (roughly two months from the time I booked) but at the same time I requested the receptionist to book me earlier if any cancellations.

And guess what, next day I got a call from them and I got the specialist appointment in two days.

I was absolutely relieved to have found Dr. Stewart. The staff were genuinely nice and I only waited 15 minutes for my appointment. He explained everything thoroughly and even wrote down further information for me to research without me even asking. I have had a terrible experience with another doctor in rexdale where I waited hours in waiting rooms and now have to reconstruct my ear drum due to ignorance. I highly recommend Dr. Stewart.

Great doctor. My son had tubes placed with this doctor and they stayed in for 18months. My son was very speech delayed and once the tubes went in my son started talking in sentences a short time later. We tried a doctor closer to home after my son needed his second set (after the 18months) and they only lasted 6 months with the other (unnamed) doctor. We just had his tubes replaced by Dr. Stewart and expect them to last long with his surgical history. Thank you Dr. Stewart and staff.

Unprofessional! Cancled our appointment 1 hour prior to the actual appointment time because he didnt read the paperwork until the morning of his appointment and only realized then he doesn't do trache care. Not sure how this happens when the staff was informed when booking, what the Appointment was for. Will we get reimbursed for the taxi services we booked for our appointment? I guess not because this practice is so inconsiderate. Thanks for nothing.

They never pick up their phone during their "office hours", it always goes to voicemail. They need to hire people that actually pick up the phone. Sorry Dr. Stewart, but you just lost a patient.because of the lack of care your secretaries for patients.

I found Dr Stewart unprofessional and condescending. He skipped over my questions and each appointment was less than 5 minutes before he rushed me out of the office. His description of a myringtomy (I found the name on my own, he never once mentioned the name of the procedure) never included making an incision into my ear drum. Simply "we will use a tube to drain the fluid in your ear". The first I heard of the incision was at the hospital followed by him actually taping his wrist. Your not making cuts inside my head while your in a rush buddy. I obviously opted out and am being refered to a diffirent ENT.

His staff was actually great, which I realize is contrary to most of these reviews. Just my experience there.

Dr Stewart is very polite, knowledgeable, well mannered and helpful. BUT His STAFF is extremely Rude. They never answer the phone unless you keep calling again and again. THEY NEVER CALL YOU Back but say so, even if you have an emergency.

My son got Bad ear infection.i Went to walk in clinic, got medicine. But still not working out and infection got worse. Called Dr stewart office, staff said they will ask doctor and call you back end of the day. But they Called me after 3 days. And Even went to hospital, doc said i will give u prescripion, but if nothing get better Go straight to your ENT.and still calling DR STEWART OFFICE, BUT STAFF IS NOT RESPONDING first to my calls since afternoon.and after so many calls they said they will get back to me asap. But STILL NO clue.i dont know what they get paid for.its been more than a year i am with doctor.but staff is still with bad service. I am surprised dont they feel ashamed after so many complaints. Even whrn you go there, and talked to other patients they had the same problem.it is not happened once but so many times.

The only thing WÈ All come back to you doctor STEWART beacuse YOU ARE very nice and genourous and knowledgeable. TO YOUR SURPRISE DR STEWART you really need to change staff or teach them how to deal with PATIENTS (WITH POLITENESS AND SYMPATHY AND WITH ETTIQUETES)
