Dr. Daniel Radin

I recently had an appointment at Radin Skin Centre and felt compelled to share my experience. Let me start by acknowledging that Dr. Radin seems to be a very nice man and likely a skilled doctor. However, my overall experience left much to be desired.

I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early, as I believe in respecting others' time and expect the same courtesy in return. Unfortunately, this was not reciprocated by the clinic. Upon entering, I found a full waiting room of patients, all seemingly in the same boat—waiting without any updates or explanations.

Despite having over a full hour-long wait, there was no communication from the staff about the delay, no apologies, and no explanations provided. It left me with ample time to contemplate the lack of respect and professionalism towards the patients' time.

In a situation like this, there are several ways the staff could have handled it better. A simple call to reschedule or inform about the delay would have been appreciated. Alternatively, they could have communicated the reason for the delay, and perhaps even apologized for the inconvenience caused. A basic acknowledgment of the time we invested, especially for those who took time off work, would have gone a long way.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can cause delays, but the lack of communication and acknowledgment of our time is what prompted me to write this review. It's my first negative review, and I hope it serves as constructive feedback for improvement.

In conclusion, while I believe Dr. Radin may be an excellent doctor, the overall experience, specifically regarding time management and communication from the staff, left much to be desired. I hope future patients have a more positive and respectful experience.

The worst experience ever. I waited over an hour to see the Dr, and when I did, he barely spent 2 mins in the room. I didn't even get the chance to ask him anything about what I was referred to him for. I spent my time trying to get a word in, he was clearly not interested in listening to what I had to say. I was very disappointed.

I’ve been bringing my father to Dr. Radin for some time now and it’s been a blessing. Dr Radin and his staff go above and beyond what many others don’t do. The staff is so friendly, from talking to them on the phone to in person and Dr Radin makes me feel very thankful that we have him in our city attending to my dad’s and many other people’s issues.

Dr Radin is a true professional. He has done procedures on both my wife and my son, and now on me. He is very personable and answered all questions and concerns I had. I would recommend Dr Radin to everyone. His staff are great to talk to and very courteous when on the phone making appointments.

Super nice and friendly staff. He treated my keloid on my ear. Took one visit to make the thing almost dissappear. He also gave me a discount.

Dr Radin’s office is the only place in Windsor Essex county I would ever go for any professional dermatology needs. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and Dr Radin himself is the best most insightful doctor I’ve ever dealt with. Can not be more happy after my appointment here. If I could give 6/5 stars I would!

Had a skin tag under my eye, fairly large. It was a painless removal and a few days later you would never know it was there.

Dr. Radin is an exceptional physician. He is attentive, caring and makes you feel comfortable. His services are in great demand in this area yet he still takes the time to explain the cause and the treatment of a patient's problem. Dr. Radin has certainly impressed me with his knowledge and patient care.

Dr Radin is very pleasant, he offers fair pricing and does great work.

Scheduling needs some work, both times I visited the office I waited 1 hour over my appointment time to be seen.

Dr. Radin is knowledgeable, professional and exercises that all important technique at putting you at ease. He is focussed while diagnosing your problem and takes the next step in resolving the issue quickly. He reads patients very well and is most accommodating to them. I would recommend Dr. Radin for any of your dermatology or cosmetic needs. His credentials certainly are worth making him an asset to our area. His staff certainly reflects what Dr. Radin represents; they are well informed and very organized.

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Radin for a few months now. She is on a medication that can cause depression and requires monthly blood work followed by an in office visit. Dr. Radin is amazing. Always shows concern, ensuring my daughter is handling the medication without any issues. And we have seen amazing results. I would definitely recommend Dr. Radin and his team. The office staff and very nice and wonderful to deal with.

Dermatology 101 - He assessed my skin from 8 feet away and never moved a muscle. His diagnosis was “dermatits” (= skin inflammation) He prescribed topical cortisone 1% higher than one can buy over the counter! Then said see you in 2 weeks if need be - I had suffered for months tried many creams / baths and dietary remedies. He was uninterested in the history of my condition and failed to assess compelling information.

Dr. Radin was simply the best. He listened to my concerns. Formulated a plan and got me feeling the best I have been in years. Words can not describe how thankful I am of his care. Staff were great and efficient. I definitely would recommend anyone to him in a heartbeat.

The worst dermatologist I ever met! The doctor didn’t even spent 5 minutes with me and he was late for the appointment over 45 min. He didn’t check my skin problems, wasn’t even interested what issue I have or suggest any treatment. All he checked was a notes his assistant did after an interview with me.
It’s a waste of time for his consultation.

I can't thank Dr Radin & his staff enough! A few weeks ago I had a horrible rash that took over my entire body for 6 days. After two trips to TMC Clinic, being on steroids with no improvement, 3 days of no sleep, and my rash getting spreading, the Dr I saw at TMC called Dr Radin on the spot who agreed to see me ASAP.

His receptionist was incredibly nice, as I was obviously upset and in pain. I was seen by him within an hour, he listened and understood how much discomfort I was experiencing. The treatment/medication he prescribed me worked within hours to ease my discomfort and within 4 days I was back to normal. After trying 3 different prescribed allergy meds, with no relief, I am so grateful he agreed to see me that day, and very thankful he knew what to do to get rid of my issue! Thank you again!

I am truly not impressed by this guy. It looks like i’m not the only one who is complaining about him being late. I went there 3 times and each time he was between 1hr15 min late and 1hr45 min late. This guy is a disgrace to his profession and is truly disrespectful towards his patients by always being late. The funny thing is that he charges a 100$ fee for a no show but i think i should bill him 50$ an hour for being late. Their receptionist always never answer the phone also guys do me a favor DO NOT GO THERE. I wish i should have know that he have a 3.6 review before going here.

He is al about the money, not too much about pacient care.
I ended up fixing my problem in Detroit for less money.

Dr. Daniel Radin is a disgrace to the Canadian medical industry and doctors like him are the reason why the health care system is substandard.

I waited 1.5hrs after reaching 15mins earlier than my scheduled appointment. (got this appointment after 3 months of waiting)

The doctor came in, wasn't too keen in seeing my skin issues. When I started telling him about them, he clearly said I can only give you a few minutes for the issue your doctor referred you here. If I look at the other things, I fall behind the other scheduled appointments.

If you were so quick with your consultations, why did I have to wait 1.5hrs after my appointment time.

If you don't want to practise anymore then just quit and do something else. Don't ruin it for other doctors.

I will definitely approach the health board with this experience.

Came here around a 1 year ago. Dr. Radin took care of my dermatology issue in a very professional and kind manner. Grateful for the help.

Dr. Radin was very nice as is his staff members. He acted quickly to do biopsy for skin cancer and referred me immediately for treatment with surgeon and cancer clinic. I found him to be caring and listened to all of my concerns. Would definitely recommend him

What an awful experience. 3 times I was there, all people sitting with me in reception waiting to be called were complaining not the regular banter, but how truly awful the staff and Dr. Radin are. I have hard time to believe that 5 star reviews are not fake. Even my GP was appalled how unprofessional Dr, Radin and his staff were (they would not give me results of mole biopsy until I received another referral. My GP demanded the results from they directly and gave to me.

Update based on response: Yes, your office is required to share the results with the patient without additional referral. However, your receptionist refused to do so until my GP contacted your office to obtain the results directly. So you acknowledge that your office should not have done so. What you should do is properly train your staff. If I read such a failure on my staff's performance, I would address it internally. But based on other reviews, it does not look like you care about providing professional service. After 3 awful visits, this was the straw that broke camels back. I switched to Dr. Jerry Tan. I have no intention of coming back or dealing with such unprofessionalism again.

My family doctor sent me to him. It was my first and last visit to his clinic. He doesn’t give you chance to ask questions. He stayed far away from me. He took 2 minutes to write prescription and see what problem I had. He doesn’t treat his patients good.

He gave me 2 years worth of refills and I called to make a follow-up appointment and now they said because I haven't been to him in 1 year I need a new referral. It's clear he only values his cosmetic patients and tries to keep the others away.
Today they replied saying they don't find me in their system, the same thing they say to everyone who doesn't give them a 5 star review. I do not have them mixed up. An office this rude is something I would not mix up. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in my city with my name.

I had serious deep and painful facial lesions. I went to Dr. Radin and he was able to remove them using his advanced medial technology without leaving any scarring. In addition to his comprehensive medical skills, Dr. Radin is a kind and compassionate person. He repeated asked if I had any discomfort during the procedure. I can highly recommend Dr. Radin as an outstanding Dermatologist. Based on my past experiences, I believe it would be very difficult for one to find a better Dermatologist.

Dr Radin diagnosed a deadly form of skin cancer on my wrist and promptly removed it then referred me to a plastic surgeon who will remove a wider deeper area as an extra precaution to make sure it never comes back. He saved my life and I couldn't be more grateful. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and excellent at what he does. I also enjoyed his friendly staff. I highly recommend Dr Radin and his staff!

Dr. Radin has been my dermatologist for over ten years and I have had nothing but positive experiences during my visits. The staff are friendly and accommodating and I find Dr. Radin to be very personable and efficient in his treatments. He takes interest in my outside ventures and always takes time to get updates each time I visit. I would definitely recommend Dr. Radin to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

I visit Dr Radin for dermatology issues. He is very efficient and takes care of the problem in a professional manner. The doctors in the Windsor area are responsible for a very large clientele. Sometimes this might cause longer waits but the treatment is satisfactory. I have no issues recommending him.

The best derm I have ever visited.staff is superb they always call you ahead of time to remind you of your appointment.their office is very clean.dr radin always asks the right questions when he sees you to determine what medication is best for you and makes sure you are not having any severe side effects before starting/proceeding. Dr. Radin is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Sometimes there is a long wait but that is expected for a specialist in our health system. He ensures each patient is cared for, instead of rushing to try and get everyone in quickly.

Dr. Radin is very busy but still took the time to answer my questions and give me the information that I needed. Dr. Radin was kind and reassuring and is well worth the wait.

Dr. Radin has been my doctor for 12 years. He treats me for sun damage. This year I developed skin cancer. Dr Radin caught it early and set me up with a surgeon. Every step of the way from diagnosis to aftercare, Dr Radin was supportive, informative and very very kind. Dr Radin has NEVER pushed any of the cosmetic part of his practice on me, but after some intractable issues, he and i made the decision, in concert, for me to have a laser treatment (which was very successful). During the procedure dr radin was very kind and reassuring. Most important, Dr Radin is an expert clinician. In my opinion, he is the best and I have felt this way for 12 years!

I was treated by Doctor Radin several weeks after I had been battling with a severe virus that affected my skin, ability to eat, speak, and perform everyday tasks. Dr. Radin was extremely compassionate and understanding with what I was going through. He was able to immediately diagnose my condition and put me on the right medication, which has since, tremendously helped me. Dr. Radin is knowledgeable, dedicated in what he does, and has a well-rounded medical background from top universities. I felt well cared for and received the information I needed. Doctor Radin was the best doctor I've ever seen! He was patient and very thorough when diagnosing and explaining my issue. He provided immediate treatment and was very friendly and personable. It was obvious that he generally cares for his patients. The staff at the Radin Practice was very friendly. I had a severe condition and they were very understanding and were able to move me up the wait list. Michaela was very friendly at the front desk and very helpful when explaining where to go next to fill prescriptions and get blood work done. I would recommend going to the Radin Skin Care Centre first before seeking other options.

Waited for my appointment for four months, my appointment was at 9: 40, i arrived at 927, i waited until 1045 for my turn, after all he barely gave me 40 seconds of his time, he was so rushing into the door, i said like "i didn't finish yet, i want to know more and discuss further my situation as those moisturizers are not solving my problem", he just opened the door and told me like nothing else he can do.

Excellent doctor. I would not trust any other physician to treat my skin, cancer or moles. Great staff as well. Cheryl Maltais

If you’re looking for a doctor to sit down and properly discuss your situation with, he is DEFINITELY NOT the person you want to go to. I personally had been sitting in the waiting room at least an hour or more well past my appointment time. When I was finally brought into a room, Dr. Radin came in and within two minutes I was sent back outside (him and his staff didn’t bother booking me for a follow up for results either). I waited three months for this appointment, only for it to be a complete waste of time. He was rude and seemed as if he didn’t have time for me as a potential client. Instead he cut me off when I was talking, barely acknowledged what I wanted to discuss, and was in a huge rush to leave as soon as he entered the room. I would most definitely not recommend him to anyone - there are so many other doctors who actually care about their clients and their needs, and Dr. Radin is NOT one of those doctors.

I was a new/first time patient that had a suspicious growth requiring assessment.if you had a stop watch, it would've shown the time from entering the room, to leaving was less than 2 minutes. He didn't look at me, spend time to answer questions and wrote a prescription for cortisone. Disheartening experience that a trained professional with the skills/knowledge and judgement was disinterested in helping/discussing a move forward medical plan to treat condition.

Wonderful caring Doctor! Very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him! His staff is fabulous! He also carries a terrific skin care and make up line. They sell Latisse for growing longer eyelashes, and this really works! I have referred many people to purchase this and everyone is extremely impressed with the results!

Wait times are excessive but Dr Radin is very polite, kind and knowledgeable. Took lots of time with me. Have used both OHIP and private services. Would recommend Dr Radin.
