I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received during my visits to your clinic. I initially consulted you for dark spots on my face, and you prescribed a handmade medicine. Unfortunately, not only did it prove ineffective for my dark spots, but it also resulted in the development of numerous pimples, causing further damage to my skin.

Upon returning to your clinic after two months, I was disappointed to learn that the only solution you had for my dark spots was the same medicine that had previously harmed my skin. I expected a more professional and tailored approach to my skin concerns.

They don’t have the decency to pick up the phone and ask what day to make an appointment. They text you an appointment date, two days after this text. I couldn’t change my booked appointments. I called and texted back asking if I could reschedule. This doctor doesn’t have a secretary to even call back like every other specialist. Then this doctor sends a letter to my doctor that I was a no show. Wish my doctor never sent referred me to her. Waste of my time! Never experienced such unprofessionalism.

I had skin and scalp concerns and it was serious at least for me and still have the problem.because of her unprofessional care after two months I had to book another dermatologist in next two months.she didn’t check my scalp, just wrote medication one for scalp that burned my scalp and my hair falling didn’t stop and got more serious and other cream for peeling didn’t work at all it was very fast no passion no patience but while filling out the form she asked if I like to do botox or fillers

Extremely rude, unprofessional and inefficient front desk staff. Lost referral and hung up the phone on me!

I am so delighted with Dr. Niakosari as my dermatologist! Her expertise is top-notch, and I have complete confidence in her choices for the perfect procedures. Additionally, her skill in providing impeccable persicures is a wonderful bonus. Thank you, Dr. Niakosari, for taking such great care of me and my skin! I couldn't be happier with the results!

I’ve got rash on my armpit after my hair removal laser.when she visited me less than a minute she said they have to take biopsy cause it is weird and mostly because of allergies and would definitely appear again. She told me that the biopsy mark will remain forever I was shocked and asked her if I could make a decision later but she was trying to convince me that it might be dangerous and if you leave the office without taking biopsy right away you will probably loose the chance to understand what your symptoms are based on. I was shocked and very confused. Meanwhile I had some red spots on my arms after delivery and was asking her to prescribe any medication but she said they wouldn’t be cured at all and I need to pay for some beauty treatments in her clinic. Fortunately I left the office as soon as I could. Today I saw another Dr.who is a very professional dermatologist and surprisingly he told me you didn’t need any biopsy or even concerns regarding that rash and prescribed me an ointment to cure all those tiny spots. Visiting Dr. Nia Kousari was my worst experience visiting a specialist.

My experience with Dr. Niakosari was so negative and I won't recommend her. She was not caring at all, spending few careless seconds with me and she didn't even mind her attitude as I felt shame for what I have seen her for!

Terrible experience!
Dr. B was rude when I came to my appointment at 8: 30am. I was 5 mins late because of traffic. Didn’t look at my skin problems and said my only solution was an antibiotic. Also gave me a cream which made my skin extremely rashy in an allergic reaction. She should have listened to what I was saying…and cared to be more professional and use her degree to properly diagnosis me instead of passing me along with an antibiotic so she could get to her next client.
It makes me so upset that Dr’s. Cannot spend 5 mins to listen to their patients history with their skin what hasn’t worked… after three children. But just resorting to an antibiotic or a cream that irritated the area even more.
Let’s just say Dr. B believes she knows everyone but be careful what she prescribes and get a second opinion.

I started to look my age and didn’t like that. I went here for a consult to see what my least invasive options are. Settled on microneedling and Fraxel laser. Super effective and just in time for my class reunion!
13 August 2022 13:11
She has done fillers for me for a few years and wonder what she can do only with a few syringes, I am impressed.
11 August 2022 2:36
Dr. Niakosari is wonderful.patient.knowledgeable, kind!
I had been to another dermatology clinic that was a disaster!
This one is excellent! Very positivre experience. Tell everyone you know!

I have difficult pigmentation on my face that was not fading with creams, I have done a few procedures lasers and peels and the result is amazing and everyone is complimenting me.
31 July 2022 11:43
I was referred to Dr. Niakosari for a melanoma on my arm and was told she was the best and had done a lot of research on skin cancer esp she is a pathologist too. I have had a few visits now and so far so good!
28 July 2022 3:05
The office is clean, staff is friendly, they are taking the pandemic seriously and using every precaution. The doctors seem to be top notch. I get regular checkups and will keep going here!
16 July 2022 1:26
I am a world traveler and have spent way too much time in the sun. Extensive sun exposure makes me a little paranoid. I book appointments to see Dr. Niakosari anytime a mole appears or changes. She and her staff are always helpful and professional.
10 July 2022 15:14
I'm in that weird and awkward group of people who have both signs of aging and acne. Not pleasant. I was referred originally for laser treatment and facials. At the same time I met Dr. Niakosari too and her advice in skin care made all the difference. I am enjoying my clear skin.

I have been seeing another dermatologist for years, and I have to switch to bayview north clinic as my dermatologist retired, I saw Dr. Niakosari last week she did a full skin exam, she answered all my questions and did a few biopsies. I am happy I found her in our area and I have already recommended her to my friends.
19 June 2022 4:14
I waited over a month to be seen by Dr Niakosari, after she had ordered blood tests and suggested I may have an autoimmune disorder. Required an in person visit (my husband took the day off - and we drove from courtice to her office) for her to spend 60 seconds in the room with us. All she said was that I have something wrong with my thyroid and she’s going to refer me elsewhere. Which of course means another long wait. Wouldn’t even send the new referral as urgent - so if it wasn’t urgent why couldn’t this have been done over phone call? Probably because they wanted to bill for in person visit. Wish I could give 0 stars.
16 June 2022 9:32
Never answers the phone. Even when I ran out of medication, they neglect the responsibility of a doctor by never trying to even reach out or return calls.
13 June 2022 3:16
I had the pleasure today of seeing Dr. Niakosari and was most impressed. She is extremely calm, listens and takes her time. After assessing me she was not concerned but decided to do a biopsy just to be on the safe side. I had been to another dermatologist who did not do anything and just wanted to refer me for cosmetic procedures. Dr. Niakosari did not push any cosmetic procedure, but just advised me of my best options. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!

‏not recommended!
Even though I heard she was really professional but I am not satisfied with my experience with her.my family doctor referred me to her because I had a mole on my body she was kind but not caring she didn’t even acknowledge me that my appointment is done; she told me she’s getting out so I can wear my clothes but she didn’t ever come back and didn’t say anything to her receptionists.
I understand that my problem was not a big deal but I’ve got a day off to see the doctor & at the very least she could treat like she cared for her patients & spending her “valuable” time listening to me but it seems that she doesn’t really care to Make a Patient feel like she’s paying enough attention.
And it seems some doctors just feel like the only person time who’s worth is theirs!

I had a toenail changed color. I went to the clinic and the dermatologist took photos and eventually did a biopsy. I was impressed with how the clinic followed up and managed my condition.
24 April 2022 2:45
My visits to this office are always positive.
Dr. Niakosari’s care is professional and ethical. She is an expert in her field of medicine. She is personable, approachable, and always willing to answer questions relevant to her treatment.
The office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. All Covid-19 protocols are strictly enforced.

I highly recommend Dr. Firouzeh Niakosari.
22 January 2022 3:25
If I could, I would give her zero star.
For my condition she suggested I do nothing.
Good that I got a second opinion. The other specialist was baffled by her no-treatment decision.
Do yourself a favour and dont go to this doctor.

I was initially very happy with the clinic at my first appointment where the dermatologist quickly identified an unusual mole that needed to be removed and checked, however, after my first appointment I realized that another unusual mole on my knee was missed (photo attached), and now reception won't book me a follow up appointment with the dermatologist nor return calls.

When I first realized the mole was missed after my initial appointment I was already on my way into the clinic to have a different mole removed with their surgeon (June 2). I asked him to remove this second mole but he said he couldn't do anything until the dermatologist saw it first, which is reasonable. Before I left the office, I tried to book a follow up appointment with the dermatologist to look at it quickly on June 16th when I was scheduled to have my stitches out, but reception refused. They just said they would "get back to me" but never did.

I followed up via telephone (second attempt) the next day and spoke to reception on the phone. They again said that they would talk to the dermatologist and get back to me again, but, again, no one called me back.

I waited a week then called again (third attempt) and got their voicemail.
I left a message explaining that my older sibling passed away a few years ago from this kind of skin cancer and that I really needed this mole looked at. They never responded.

Reception called me yesterday to confirm my appointment today to have my stitches removed and I yet again told them I needed a follow up appointment (fourth attempt). They said that I had an appointment seven weeks from now and that they wouldn't book anything else sooner.

I went in today and had my stitches removed. I told the surgeon - who is wonderful - of my inability to get the mole looked at. He told me to book an appointment in a week with the dermatologist to discuss the results of the first biopsy and said that I should book the appointment in person at reception before I left. I told him they wouldn't book the appointment and he said they had to, I would be standing right there in front of them.

So I tried (fifth attempt) but reception STILL refused to book an appointment despite the surgeon's instructions! Reception claimed someone would get back to me once the results were in, but I am not holding my breath.

I do not recommend this clinic.

Whoever is in charge of their booking system during COVID (you have to call or email and someone will get back to you) has been a complete night mare. I've been trying to get an appointment since the summer (it is now October). First, I did a phone call consult where the doctor told me someone would get back to me to book an in person (never happened!) so I emailed only to get an appointment date but not a time. I got an email the day AFTER my appointment with apologies and trying to reschedule. This person had a month to email me a time. I then tried to re-book and the same thing is happening, haven't heard back in 2 weeks. I will no longer be coming to this clinic for any services.

Dr. Niakosari and her team are so professional. I have been doing botox injections for over two years, and the results have been amazing.

Was told to come a bit earlier than appointment time to complete paperwork. I did, except 40min later I was still waiting. Finally my turn, took about 40 seconds to determine it will cost $300 for something that will take less than 5 minutes. Not talking about Botox or laser hair removal, talking about a skin tag! Are you kidding! Over the years I've paid between $10-$30 per treatment, not $300. Sadly, while I was waiting, I overheard 3 other patients saying similar things also how they felt rushed once inside. I will not be returning or recommending this place.

Update: Thank you for replying to my review ONE YEAR LATER, ps notice how most of the 5 reviews are from users who only have 1 or 2 reviews.

Dr. Niakosari has been my dermatologist for several years and has successfully treated me for sunspots which could potentially turn cancerous. I had another appointment with Dr. Niakosari on 26 November 2018. She took all the time necessary to ensure any sunspots or moles on my face or body were identified and treated. She also noticed that on my lower left eyelid there is a swelling which I have always assumed was a stye. However, Dr. Niakosari suspects that it is potentially cancerous and referred me to the appropriate specialist for a biopsy. I am very grateful that Dr. Niakosari noticed this issue because I was not referred to her about it and it was an unexpected but very important outcome of my visit.

I would like to also pay tribute to Parissa who has been very helpful to me and promptly arranged for me to see a specialist about my eye issue as early as 5 December 2018. I have noticed, during visits to Dr. Niakosari's office, how very nice and patient Parissa is when dealing with office staff and patients. Doctors' offices are usually not the most cheerful of places and dealing with medical issues is not fun. Parissa deserves much credit for her wonderful attitude and all that she does to make things better for everyone she deals with. It would be lovely if every doctor's office had someone as admirable and nice as Parissa.

Dr Firouzeh is not knowledgeable. She could not recognize a type of foot problem and told me that I have an incurable illness which freaked me out but after going to herbal doctor I realized it was just a fungus and there’s a cure for it! She is not confident when diagnosing to the point she asks the patient “do you think this is right? ” And when I disagreed because it was not even close to what I had, I was ignored, as a doctor one must be confident enough and believe in what they say. Staff were nice and friendly but overall not the best experience for me.

This is my worst experience with someone who claims he/she is a “Medical Professional “.

Apart from her wrong, unprofessional attitude towards her patients, the most troubling fact is her lack of knowledge in her field of study and practice.

Her wrong diagnosis and misleading information, caused frustration and fear with regards my three years old son’s very simple, common and routine bacterial skin irritation.

My wife couldn’t sleep for the night being worried about our little one’s horribly wrong diagnosed very serious and contagious skin disease.

If I’v had the option here to not rate this individual with No stars at all I would have done it for sure.

Don’t waste your time and consult with a reliable professional.
