The staff is very friendly and helpful when you have questions plus the optometrists takes time to explain things and listens when u have concerns.

They were friendly and detailed in their examinations. All costs were explained up front, and no products were pushed to purchase. They took their time, listened to questions and gave sound advice.

I was nervous to take my small kids (1 and 3 at the time) and I was blown away with how great Dr. Chris Schellingerhoudt was with both of them. Extremely patient and is an absolute natural with kids. He made the experience fun for them by playing games and watching movies. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Chris Schellingerhoudt.

I've been wearing glasses since I was a child and during those years (now in my 70's), I have seen many Optometrists. I am so happy to say that of all of them, Dr. Jessica De Marinis is undoubtedly the very best.

I made an appointment with Dr. Hopkins and Associates at their St. Catharines location. I have wet macular degeneration, which I am receiving treatment for and am interested in getting as much information as I can regarding type of equipment and/or services available to treat possible future vision loss.

I chose the St. Catharines location as it is closer to my home and my appointment was with Dr. Jessica De Marinis.

I cannot praise this young doctor enough. She was very caring and personable; extremely thorough with all tests; informed me regarding my current vision acuity; answered all my questions and even answered some that I didn't know to ask! I was also very happy when Dr. De Marinis informed me that, at the present time, my vision acuity is good and not low, however if I need aids in the future, a low vision specialist is available to give me any information I may need. Without a doubt she is the best Optometrist I have ever had and I am so pleased that I found her and Dr. Hopkins and Associates.

The office has equipment that is state of the art and a fantastic range of frames for all ages, male and female. The staff in the office were all very efficient, helpful and friendly.

I am very happy to recommend Dr. De Marinis and Dr. Hopkins and Associates to my friends and family and I and my husband will now be seeing her for all future vision requirements.

Have been going to Dr. Hopkins since we first moved to Niagara on the Lake 10 years ago. We have found her to be an excellent optometrist, extremely approachable, and have a superb sense of humour. She takes the time to explain situations in a manner that is understandable by a lay person.

Absolutely wonderful and caring staff who take the time with each of their patients. Can’t say enough good things. Always a wonderful experience with them.

Super expensive, nothing more to say. Unfortunately! Products are same like every other shops but the frames are expensive and the lens is really expensive than frames lol.

The optical section staff could have been more helpful to the customer queries.

I haven’t been to the eye doctors in years and was advised by my family physician I need to start having regular checkups. I found Dr. Hopkins & Associates Optometry was highly rated online and decided to go there. I had a great experience from the minute I walked in the door. Two friendly staff members greeted me when I got there. The office was clean, modern, and well designed.

I only had to wait a few minutes until one of the girls from the reception desk took me into an office to take pictures of my eyes and run some tests. I saw Dr. Chris Schellingerhoudt and he was fantastic. He was friendly and happily chatted with me while doing my eye exam which completely put me at ease.

It turns out I need glasses for reading (I’m not surprised, I’m getting older) and another wonderful staff member took the time to help me pick out glasses that work with my features and meet my needs. She did some measurements to make sure my glasses will be perfect for me when they come in. I also found the prices to be reasonable and they had a great selection of glasses to choose from.

Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of an eye doctor.

Love this clinic and the staff there! They truly care about the patient. The Dr.took the time to listen to my concerns and actually found out what was happening with my eyes. I had been to a number of other optometrists and ophthamologists who found nothing.
Aside from that they cared enough to fix/adjust my daughters glasses after they were already closed. Very thankful to have found them!

Dr. Chris was very through with my eye exam. He took the time to explain, educate, review past exam information, and even repeat tests when my pupils were resistant to the drops. Shannon was also helpful with selecting frames that would suit my face. Office staff were very pleasant and the office is spacious and bright. Well done!

Best eye exam I've had. Very scientific approach prior to the "1 or 2". The Dr was very accommodating and was able to correct my vision to 20/20! None of the others I've been to have been able to do anything with my right eye.

I completed the Vision Therapy program with Dr. Hopkins after a concussion in 2015 left me struggling with symptoms related to my vision for 5+ years. The difference is astonishing!

The sessions were thorough, the homework was always easy to understand and the needed materials provided, and Dr. Hopkins was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and honestly fun to work with. The technology she uses is amazing and really gets a full picture of everything your eyes are doing and where they need to be to work properly.

Before Vision Therapy I was constantly tired, my eyes would double often and I was walking around with limited depth perception, among other irritating symptoms. Now, I score in the "normal" or even above normal ranges and my eyes never fatigue to the point of doubling. I have also noticed a significant improvement in my balance, which was heavily impacted by my accident. While in the program I even began a successful return to work after 5 years off and between the two my endurance increased substantially! I just finished my 3 month check in after completing my sessions and my improvements have held steady or even continued to improve.

I highly highly recommend this program for anyone who has suffered a head injury as well as those with children who are struggling with convergence issues, etc. I saw lots of happy kids leaving or arriving for appointments adjacent to mine! It truly, truly works and is worth every penny.

Very thorough and professional. The eye exam is painless. However, it is unfortunate that the dilation of the pupil is necessary, especially before the exam. It makes things somewhat blurry and lasts until late afternoon.

The Doctor was very concern about my eyes. And asked if I had any concerns about my sight. She checked my eyes, took deep pictures of them and showed me how they looked and was not too worried on how they looked. She said to come back next year and she will check them again.

Went for my annual eye exam today, was very impressed with the smooth pace in which everything flowed, flawless. Just the way I like it especially during this pandemic. Really friendly and very helpful staff. Dr Becks is just wonderful and explains everything as you go along with examination. My permanent optometrist always.

Dr. Hopkins was excellent with both myself and my children. She helped assess my four-year-old and my one year-old an answered any concerns I had. I highly recommend this clinic. I have personally been with them for over 10 years and they have always been very thorough and helpful.

They went above and beyond to help me from the beginning, with several different things. They still want to help make things right, and we will.

I forgot my mask today. No problem, Dr. Mossop and team were very helpful and provided one. The entire exam went well and I was very pleased with the results.
