Dr. Jaclyn Chang, Optometrist (formerly Dr. Edmund Eng)

I do not know where to start. I am also a medical professional. Dr. Chang is intelligent, kind, caring, knowledgeable, virtually a perfect medical professional. She is detail orientated, has a warm personality, and genuinely cares about her staff and patients. I'm sure if you had a concern, problem or question that she could not answer, she would immediately admit it and then find the answer! That is something that sets the really great Drs.apart from the rest of us. I am so glad that I have someone I can trust my vision with, what could be more important?

Dr. Jaclyn is an excellent doctor who is very detail oriented. She was patient with me and helped me find the right eye glasses prescription.

I am so happy I stumbled upon this optometrist's office while looking for a last-minute contact lens fitting & order. They were able to accommodate a same day appointment for me (due to a cancellation), and understood exactly what I needed. On top of that, I learned a few new tips for taking care of my eyes (nothing leading to an up-sell, just helpful advice tailored to me). Dr. Jaclyn and her staff are kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and extremely helpful. I will absolutely be back for my complete eye exam and any vision care needs going forward!

Dr. Jaclyn is such an amazing person. She showed that she cares about my vision and my overall eye condition. She also explains thoroughly what my conditions are and recommends appropriate care. I have been coming to this practice ever since my former optometrist retired. Our experiences here have always been excellent. You cannot ask for a better team of eye care providers than this. I recommend the practice, Dr. Jaclyn is the best.she never seems to be in a hurry and I feel she is always looking out for our best interest. Dr. Chang is both kind and knowledgeable. She helped me find the right contacts and was extremely informative and empathetic

Called as my daughter needed to see a doctor urgently. It was close to closing time and I asked reception if I could get her in to see Dr. Chang as her eye was almost swollen shut (which I explained to the receptionist). The receptionist seemed to be in a hurry to get me off the phone and was very short with me and wouldn’t even offer another date or time. Stick with St Clair Eye Clinic across the street (called them first but their doctors had left for the day). The team there is the best.

Dr Chang is very thorough and personable. Staff was very friendly. No pressure or upsell. Will def be my new optometrist.

I reached out to Dr Chang’s office to inquire about an eye examination and fitting for contact lenses. Dr Chang’s excellent assistant, Fatima, promptly replied and before I knew it I was in the office getting my eyes checked and learning how to use/trying out various lenses. Dr Chang was nothing but helpful, kind, and professional throughout the process. Her fresh and modern office is equipped with all the latest technology and equipment, and overall I was very satisfied with the whole process (and my new lenses!)

I hadn't gone to an optometrist before and when I went Dr. Chang was so inviting that I felt very comfortable. I really appreciated her kindness and caring during my visit.

I had an excellent first visit at Dr. Chang's office. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and my assessment punctually began. Dr. Chang is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She spent time explaining the tests to me, rationale for performing them, and what my results show. I felt like I had a strong grasp on my eye health at the end of my appointment, and received care that was personalized to me.

Also - their hours are some of the best I've seen. It is often difficult for me to make appointments during the day, so their later days and weekend hours work perfectly for me!

Dr. Chang and Fatima who is the secretary/assistant,   are very friendly. They make you feel at ease. The doctor will discuss any eye test that you've done. So that you know what's going on with your eyes. And makes you feel at ease.
Fatima will try to accommodate the patients with appointments. They are very punctual with the appointments

Dr Chang is a gem!
I’ve been a patient of Dr Eng since I was a child. When he retired Dr Chang took on his clients. She is very caring, patient, professional, and up to date with technology. Dr Chang is very passionate with helping you see better.

The secretary; Fatima always greets my family and I with a warm friendly smile.
She is always ready to help when I need my contacts refilled.

The office is a one stop experience. You can order your contacts through them or purchase glasses. They have many styles to choose from with affordable prices. I highly recommend this location for all your vision needs.

I visited Dr Chang today for the first time for my annual check-up and was extremely impressed. Dr. Chang and her assistant were knowledgeable, patient, and very nice. Dr. Chang spent over an hour and a half with me for the examination and going over the results.
My prescription had changed significantly from my previous check-up so I needed new glasses. They helped me find the perfect pair and I did not feel rushed.
The clinic itself was very comfortable and it was pleasant to be there.
My experience there was exemplary and I would recommend Dr. Chang to everyone. I will definitely continue as her patient.

I was riding my bike and a giant bug went into my eye and I asked Dr. Chang for her help. She was so supportive and actually gave me real advice. She was very good at calming me down and I stopped crying. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone who is caring and takes your healthcare seriously, because thats how she made me feel.

Very friendly and diligent! For the past 12 years, I've only occasionally worn contacts because they were so uncomfortable, but Dr. Chang asked me to try on a few brands to check the fit during my appointment. Every other optometrist has just given me samples and when I came back and mentioned some discomfort, they have just asked which brand I preferred. The difference in care has been night and day, and finally, I have contacts that are really comfortable!
