Dr. P. Rajan

I’ve been visiting Dr. Rajan yearly for the past 10 years. Dr. Rajan is thorough, professional and always interested in understanding my concerns. I’ve had several sunspots painlessly and carefully frozen by Dr. Rajan. Recently Dr. Backstein surgically removed an early cancer spot on my forehead, a painless experience. Aron who manages the office, always calls reminding me of my upcoming appointment with a welcoming and polite approach, helps reduce my anxiety. Excellent care at Dr. Rajan’s office.

5 stars strictly for Dr Rajan. Not for the clinic's staff. Dr Rajan is an exceptional dermatologist. Unfortunately in my experience it is not easy to find one that is knowledgeable and caring. She is. Also I don't need to make separate appointments for each of my skin problems as some other dermatologists requested. I gave 5 stars however 5 stars are strictly just for her. At the new clinic the receptionist was condescending and the nurse who burnt off something from my skin rough and rude. She handled me very raffly after I told her that I cannot lay down for the procedure because of my back problem. Without giving me a warning she took of my mask. After burning she put the smallest possible bandage half covering my wound. I will return to the clinic because Dr Rajan is really one of a kind caring person who I trust. Hoping that the new clinic's staff attitude will improve.
New development: eventhough I was going back to the clinic every 6 months, so I had an ongoing relationship with the clinic and Dr Rajan i was not able to make my next appointment. The receptionist told me to go back to my family doctor and ask for a new referral. What a waste of time! Seeing my family doctor wasn't on my agenda. Really doesn't seem to make any sense to me.

My visit here was just outstanding! The Doctor didn’t just solve my problem but also spent good time answering all my questions (literally all questions till the time i had nothing else to ask). All I’m trying to say here is, she did give me ample of attention and did not rush me out of the room so that she could take other patients in. I have seen other clinics where the Doctors just want to see you for a minute and rush you out leaving you half unanswered.

I would highly recommend the Doctor

I met with Dr. Rajan for the 1st time Monday February 24th. I found her caring, knowledge t & personable. Regarding less than stellar reviews about the receptionist, I had no issues or complaints there either. I found her to be pleasant & cordial.

Dr. Rajan is a very friendly dermatologist who is very knowledgeable when it comes to skin care. She goes above and beyond your expectations and helps you out with your needs. I wouldn't recommmend any other dermatologist other than Dr. Rajan!

Poor management, bad receptionist and no courtsey to patient’s time and problems. Won’t recommend their services

If there is less than 1 star I'll give it to this clinic.rude receptionist very bad experience. I went for my wart on my face, she gave me a cream cost more than $400.00.ok with mid.insurance I paid $181.00.but it's get worse and been infected. I asked that rude receptionist to ask the doc.if she can see it any time only for 5 min.because my family doc.asked me to see her and she can't do anything about it, and she refused and said I have to wait till Jan. 20! And now it's Jun. 19.so rude and unprofessional. I'm wondering why they kept her with all complaints.

Useless doctor! She is nice person but can't find problem from prominent symptoms. I suffered so much because of her lack of knowledge

I called once to book an appointment, one lady on reception picked my call and when I told her that I am busy in weekdays because I cant manage to come from my job during my working hours and I asked her the timings for weekends, that receptionist replied in a very rude tone that we are not working on weekends.

I came with my dad to see Dr. Rajan. I presented a LAMINATED CARD with all my dad's medications written on the card. I clearly told the receptionist to photocopy the card and give it back to me. After a while I asked back for the card since I did not get it back from her. She had the guts to tell me "I DID NOT THINK YOU WOULD NEED IT BACK SO I SHREDDED IT" I was like wow how stupid can you be? IT'S A LAMINATED CARD FOR HEAVENS SAKE. Why would I NOT NEED THE CARD BACK?

Bad experience. It was a waste of time and money (parking). "Welcomed" by an unprofessional receptionist that had the audacity to say that the doctor lied to me about dropping in for a follow-up appointment once my skin symptoms reappeared again. My symptoms had subsided just before the first appointment (couple of months wait time).
