I cannot express enough gratitude for the transformative experience my son underwent with Dr. Quinn's Vision Therapy.

At the age of 6, he was diagnosed with lazy eye by a random Optometrist in another clinic, and although glasses were initially prescribed, the struggles persisted. An assessment by Dr. Quinn at age 10 revealed not only amblyopia but other vision-related challenges, prompting us to explore vision therapy with Dr. Quinn's team.

Under the guidance of the dedicated therapist, Natasha, we witnessed remarkable progress starting from week 4 of the therapy. Now, at week 25 and after three assessments by Dr. Quinn, my son is set to graduate 11 weeks earlier than anticipated. His improvements extend beyond academics, positively impacting his performance in activities like hockey. The newfound confidence and self-esteem he's gained are truly priceless.

I wholeheartedly thank Dr. Quinn, Natasha, and the entire vision therapy team for changing my son's life for the better. For anyone facing similar challenges, I urge you to seek a proper assessment and therapy; the difference it can make is truly remarkable. Trust the process, as I did, and witness the positive transformation unfold.

As far as Optometrists, go, I haven’t had any issues. I have seen Dr. Kristyn Pozzer for a few years and she is lovely. I used to see a different doctor who left the practice and I found her extremely thorough as she found something in my vision that had never been noted before. I recently found that other Optometrist and moved to her new clinic. I’ve been having some issues with the health of my right eye and the new office asked me to sign a release form for Dr. Finks office to send over my old records. They warned me there would be a fee, although this is unique to Dr. Fink’s office.
I work in health care and know that patients have the legal right to their records, but this other office said it would be somewhere around $25.
Dr. Fink’s office called later that day and told me it was $58, then within seconds said, “never mind, it’s $63”. They lady on the phone was very cold to talk to and I wasn’t in the mood, so I paid it. I do understand there are some administrative costs that come with having to transfer charts, but being a health care worker, I know that this cost is absolutely absurd. It gave me peace in knowing my choice to move to an office that prioritizes patient care over cost, was a good decision.

My daughter sees Dr Quin and Connor. Both have been great for my daughter's vision therapy and it has worked for us. We are yet to see more progress but definitely recommend these two.
My daughter actually looks forward to see Connor for vision therapy every week. Though costly but if it helps my child eyes, neurological functions etc, than I've invested in the right place. Dr Quinn also recommended physio therapist for motion sickness where they also explained me the same things that Dr Quinn did and the information matches! We couldn't be happier to have found a friendly and professional place.
My kids also see him for regular eye exams. He explains everything and also we learnt things no other dr told us! Merci beaucoup!

I have been completing Vision therapy for about 24 weeks and I can say that receiving this therapy has completely shifted my life. I used to experience severe headaches, motion sickness, inability to focus on screens and books for a long period of time. I always incapable or "stupid", but never knew the source of my issues were my eyes. My life changed the moment Dr. Quinn and I crossed path, he saw something in me that no one noticed all of my life. At first I was hesitant about completing vision therapy, as I saw videos of the potential exercises I could do for my eyes, but of course with the challenges I already faced, I knew I'd be easily discouraged from doing therapy on my own. I am glad I took the leap and started vision therapy, because truly my understanding and navigation of the world has shifted significantly. This amazing journey I have to attribute to the wonderful Mirella, who I was paired with. Her ability to give me the confidence in pushing through the difficult times made these few weeks enjoyable. I honestly have so many positives about my experience and only hope others will consider a consult if they have any issues around headaches, difficulty focusing, having a hard with learning etc. Also all the other staff working there are extremely friendly, altogether it feels like a safe place to be!

Zero communication amongst the 4 secretaries at the front desk and the actual optometrists working. While I am not close to the location, they expect me to come back and forth just to fill out a piece of paper for a job. Also to fill out the paper alone was $80, all I needed was a signature. Absolute waste of time there, cannot believe it takes 4 individuals to work a phone and then when you get there in-person, the optometrist says a complete different story. Is there a way I could possibly give 0 stars?

I’ve had issues with severe dry eye for a couple of years now, and it was only getting worse. My previous eye doctor tried to put me on certain drops and unfortunately, they only made matters worse. I was recommended to Dr. Fink who has a lot of knowledge in this area and started doing IPL and radio frequency ablation procedures with Andrea who is wonderful and so careful and gentle during the procedures. These both provided immediate relief. These procedures coupled with the concoction of eyedrops Dr. Fink recommended have definitely corrected my dry eye issues. I have now switched to Dr, Fink and her team for my regular eye exams as well. The front desk staff are also wonderful to deal with! Thank you Dr. Fink!

Received my glass about 2 years ago, wasn't overly happy with the service but simply left it alone. I finally went back to see if I could get replacement lens. No need for eye test, I've done that elsewhere and have a current prescription and frames which I purchased there.

All I wanted to do was ask some questions about getting new lens!

I was told no one would talk to me, I would have to have an appointment. Trying to get a word in was impossible - no appointment no time to talk to you!

Rude & Dismissive young woman - I would NOT recommend ever going back there to anyone!

I saw Dr Singh at this clinic. He squeezed me into an appointment because of eye irritation I was feeling. He did a very thorough assessment, explained everything clearly, prescribed medicated drops, did a follow up visit one week later and provided me with next steps for my care. He also called me to follow up. If you are experiencing any eye issues (don't wait for your family physician) or need an eye exam, go to this clinic!

Patricia Fink Optometrist: Putting the "I Don't Care" in Patient Care

I have been going, both myself and with my children, to this optometrist clinic for 20+ years. Unfortunately I regret to say that it has changed so significantly for the worse, that I would advise anyone looking for an optometrist to make a choice of OTHER than Patricia Fink. Over the years the good staff have been quietly leaving, and the current staff are - in a word - very poor. I can summarise this with one recent story. Due to COVID lockdowns and the optometrist action, I had been unable to make an appointment to have my eyes checked for several years. As a result, I was quite happy to finally secure an appointment. I was on my way, having been slightly delayed by accident/traffic jam on the highway, when the clinic called me to ask if I would be arriving in the next 10 minutes. I explained the delay and confirmed that I would. The clinic then called me back a minute later, when I was within a few minutes of the clinic and said they were CANCELLING my appointment. When I expressed my concern about this complete last minute cancellation, requiring me to turn around, the staff member on the phone began to argue with me. Given this complete lack of professionalism, I asked for her name. She refused to give it to me. I asked if I could speak to the office manager: in response, she hung up on me. I was not raising my voice, and not cursing. It was clear she thought I was a complete inconvenience to her day. I left a voice mail for the office manager expressing my concern with the rude arrogance of the staff: I did not receive a return call, which I can only assume means that the clinic believes that this was acceptable behaviour.for a loyal patient of 20+ years.
Needless to say, I switched optometrists the very same day.

I will end simply by saying that this is an optometrist practice which is slowly bleeding out, simply because it doesn't care. If you are looking for an optometrist who remembers that their primary concern is PATIENT CARE, and not selling over-priced eye-wear, then this optometrist is not for you.

Efficient staff carried out a battery of tests. Unfortunately, one CRUCIAL measurement they will not supply unless you buy glasses from them was the "PD". Without it you can't order your glasses online. My advice: shop for an optometrist that will give you your PD measurement.

I had the good fortune of being treated by Dr. Singh. He was caring and thoroughly professional, going well beyond the call of duty.

Dr. Singh's professionalism and patience was amazing. Through multiple iterations, he worked hard to help find the ideal pair of contact lenses for me. I would highly recommend him. The staff is always friendly and super helpful as well. Thank you!

Worst optometry clinic ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The cost of the eye exam is double what you would pay anywhere else. For that money, the expectation is to receive excellent care and service. This is not the case. I had a problem with my prescription and simply requested the courtesy of a prescription re-check so I could purchase the glasses I needed. I was told I had to wait 3 weeks for that service which is ridiculous. I asked to speak with a manager to see if I could get an earlier appointment as I urgently required new glasses and through no fault of mine the prescription was incorrect. The office manager is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Instead of trying to assist me in a resolution, she just chose to hang up on me. I ended up having to go somewhere else and pay for another eye examination.

Excellent care by staff and doctors. I’ve brought multiple family members back for eye examinations and have had no issues.
Glasses and contact lenses always arrive on time. Staff is friendly and welcoming and doctors are very knowledgeable. Will recommend to friends and family.

Dr. Fink's is a great clinic that provides excellent service, the staff are extremely friendly as well as attentive, and your questions/concerns are all well addressed.

Exceptional care from Dr. Fink and staff for myself and my children. Appointments were right on time and very quick. I would recommend this office to anyone!

I have used Dr Fink's office for my routine exams for years and have always been happy with the results. In the past, I used bargain optical stores to fill my prescription and purchase cheaper glasses. I was never quite happy with the results so this time I bit the bullet and purchased my new glasses from them. I just picked them up and wanted to share how much of a difference it makes leaving this step to the professionals! I cannot believe the difference in these lenses. I highly recommend them and if you're concerned about price let me assure you they are worth it.

I was very much impressed with Dr. Fink's Clinic. Everyone is very friendly & professional. Even though I saw various Optometrists & even a Specialist, no one was able to diagnose that I was developing Glaucoma. Dr. Mishee Goyal spent alot of time with me & after doing several tests she was able to give me the exact diagnose. I found her to be very warm & loving! I'm very thankful that she found my Glaucoma at an early stage that could still be fixed. I recommended her to all my family & friends.

My family and I have been going here since it opened. I have have only known friendly and caring professionals in all areas of the office during all my visits.

I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time. I've had my daughter working with the Halton Vision Therapy Center team for just about a year now. She had been struggling with fine and gross motor skills and was very resistant to working on this with my wife or I. Krysten, our vision therapist, instantly connected with my little lady and was able to make amazing improvements during our weekly sessions. During my initial and followup visits with Dr. Fink, I was always impressed at how much info she gathered about her personality, behaviour traits and tendencies during her binocular vision exam. Dr. Fink is so incredibly knowledgable in this field and I trust her outright with my daughter's visual development. Would highly recommend.

I have been a patient for years and would highly recommend this office. Warm and friendly staff and Doctors are great! Most helpful and accommodating.

We liked many things about this place but weren't completely satisfied. There seemed to be lots of computer glitches resulting in unnecessary follow ups and staff and wait times could have been better.

Dr. Fink was a godsend for me after I was incorrectly diagnosed by 2 MDs. With no improvement, I contacted Dr. Fink, who quickly recognized that I had a virus that was primarily affecting my eyes. After the initial treatment, I reported my symptoms to Dr. Fink each day, and she adjusted her orders accordingly. After a week, she re-examined my eyes to ensure there was no permanent damage. I am thankful to Dr. Fink that she took such great care of me in this difficult time and kept such close tabs on my recovery.

This is the second time I have had an eye health emergency, and both times the response has been timely and referral given as needed. My family has been cared for by Dr. Fink and her associates for over 12 years now, and we have found that Dr. Fink is thorough and extremely knowledgable. She cares deeply about the health of her patients. Dr. Fink and her staff are always extremely welcoming and helpful. Our girls both enjoyed their visits to her office and felt comfortable from the outset.

This so called doctor should not practise medicine. She has no clue what she is doing. Changes prescription four times and charges the patient each time for her mess up. STAY AWAY!

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Goyal is very attentive and answered all my questions.

I had an eye exam done with Dr. Goyal and had a great experience! She was very pleasant, answered all of my questions, and I never felt rushed at all during my appointment. I will definitely be bringing my other family here too. If you're looking for an optometrist, I would highly recommend going to do Dr. Fink's office and seeing Dr. Goyal.

Dr. Pozzer was very professional and helpful. She was also helpful when following up when with a minor problem with the glasses. I would recommend her to anyone.

We have been patients at Dr Fin'k practice for 15 years. We have received excellent care from her and her staff year over year. I would highly recommend this office!

Doctor was really nice and professional!
The only critic was that the cost of the standard eye exam was rather high and not entirely covered by the insurance as it was $20 over the "customary charges", so be careful with that.

This clinic is great! We brought our daughter here for her first eye exam and Dr. Pozzer was wonderful with her. Great selection of glasses too!

Was initially very happy here with regular vision tests. Our discontent happened when we took our daughter to a Functional Vision Evaluation. The doctor doing the evaluation was completely unprofessional, she began discussing the results of the evaluation during the tests, right in front of my daughter. My daughter was treated by her like some kind of interesting specimen. The doctor had no empathy whatsoever. This was in June 2018, we have not gone back and we won't go back.

My family and I have been patients at this location for almost twenty years. Went in yesterday to pick up a new pair of single vision glasses I had ordered. Ultimately I wasn't happy with the frames. Was hoping, given our long standing relationship, that they would allow me to EXCHANGE the frame for something more suitable. This could have been done with a minor adjustment to the lenses. Was shocked by the response of the Supervisor/Manager. Basically was told it was my tough luck - they weren't prepared to do ANYTHING. Needless to say, my family and I will be taking our business elsewhere in future. This individual clearly has no concept of what "Customer Service" is all about!

Our family moved from Markham to Burlington in 2016. Prior to that, our six-year-old daughter (at the time), had seen multiple optometrists, and even specialists. Each Doctor simply increased her prescription (every couple of months). This made it difficult for her to see far away and read the blackboard. When we arrived in Burlington, school teachers told us that Hayley was a slow learner and had difficulty concentrating. We knew this wasn’t true. We increasingly saw Hayley become more withdrawn, frustrated, and extremely irritable as the months passed.
Finally, we met with a relative who had recently graduated from Medical school in Optometry. Upon her examination of Hayley, she told us that she thought her prescription was way too high. In fact, she did not think her sight was the issue at all. She immediately recommended that we see an Optometrist that specialized in Vision Therapy for children with binocular vision issues. Dr. Fink told us that we could treat Hayley’s vision issues over a nine-month period with vision therapy. We saw immediate progress within the first couple of weeks. After a couple of months Hayley was back to her happy self. We saw a dramatic change at school including; higher marks, increased participation and most importantly, her confidence. Hayley graduated from vision therapy in 2018 and today (a year and a half later) she is doing fantastic. Hayley is in the French Immersion program in Halton, and reads every night. Her grades are fantastic and her teachers always have positive things to say about her progress. Her prescription for reading is much lower now and eventually, she may not even need glasses. We could not be happier for our Hayley and we can’t thank Dr. Fink and her phenomenal staff enough for their support.

Professional office, professional staff. My child's vision finally taken seriously here. His comprehensive eye exam and results interpretation well worth the expense. Dr. Fink is very compassionate and kind but most importantly knows her stuff about vision and development. She was 100% correct in her assessment, and my child now sees so much better because of her interventions. Vision therapy has been life-changing for him.

I visited here a few times and never bought a pair of $300 glasses that lasted more than 6 months before needing repair. Last time I spent $400 hoping for better results and they only lasted 4 months. They over charge for the eye exam that OHIP only covers so much of and the opto girl won't tell you exactly what you need, you have to figure it out yourself by looking through a lense that isn't even in a frame. I go to Costco now (waited to see how long glasses lasted before writing this). They only charge what OHIP covers for eye exam and I got 2 pairs of glasses instead of 1 for the same price. Both pairs, one for reading other for driving, are still going strong after a year and a half and they told/sold me exactly what I needed.
