Dr. Philip Solomon - Solomon Facial Plastic (Toronto Office)

I couldn’t be happier with my new nose! I’m only 5 months post op and so I’m excited for the small changes that are still yet to come. I initially really wanted a super small nose (Turkey/ Barbie style) and so after reading many reviews I wasn’t sure Dr Solomon was the right surgeon for me as he prioritizes functionality (which on reflection should have been a selling point not a deterrent!) but something was still telling me to go with him and I’m so glad that I did as he created a nose that suits my face while still adhering to what I wanted.

The anesthesiologist was amazing, it was my first surgery and I was extremely nervous but he was very informative and made me feel reassured. The rest of the team were incredibly attentive and caring and remembered me on each visit which really added to the experience. Nancie in particular is fantastic, I really can’t sing her praises enough and I think that anyone that experiences a surgery with Dr Solomon will attest the same.

The recovery was nothing like I had prepared myself for, there was definitely elements that I was not expecting but it was so much easier than anticipated and the pain really was a zero, just discomfort due to the swelling for the first few days.

I had Buccal fat removal performed at the same time as my rhinoplasty which unfortunately did result in asymmetry. This is an outcome that is pre-warned and as he had difficulty finding my fat pad he wasn’t able to remove as much as needed. I am 10 days post Buccal fat revision and I am almost symmetrical already and I’m super happy with the results. I know there is a lot of controversy over this procedure but I do believe it was the right one for me, the results are subtle and not noticeable to others but it has made such a difference to me and my confidence.

My one and only critique is that the initial consultation is very quick and so I was still filled with nerves before hand as I hadn’t quite built the confidence/ comfortability prior to the surgery.

Other than that, I am beyond happy with my outcome/ experience and finally have the nose that I’ve always dreamed of!

As a busy professional, I hesitated to undergo cosmetic surgery, but Solomon Facial Plastics made the process easy and stress-free. They provided excellent service, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. The plastic surgery, which included nasal surgery and tip refinement, was done precisely, and the results were exactly what I wanted. Due to a serious and sudden trauma to my face, I suffered a disfiguring injury to my nose, and there is NO ONE that I would have trusted to work on my face than Dr. Solomon. The stunning clinics immediately make you feel at home (both the Thornhill & Davenport locations) and the stellar staff - I cannot say enough good things about them. Nancie & Rocky are just dreams - if you know the clinic, you'll know that Rocky has been there more than 10, maybe even 15 years. When even the staff love working for someone THAT much, that says something. I'd like to think I am well-versed in cosmetic surgery or at least, more educated than the average individual, and again, there is no one, I trust more to work on my face, than Dr. Solomon. This, also coming from someone whose job is on camera, as a news reporter and anchor - I have incredibly high expectations for myself (inside and out) but given how critical one's outwards appearance is in this line of work, the fact that I can say with complete surety that I trust Dr. Solomon 100% with my face in every capacity, you can trust, it's the truth. This was my second septo-rhinoplasty, making the repair after the nose fracture a revision septo-rhinoplasty, and significantly more complicated; this was a far from simple surgery. He pulled it off magnificently and I couldn't be happier. I would say I was fearful or anxious, given how much damage was done to my face/nose in the accident, but honestly, I wasn't. Not when working with Dr. Solomon. I am beyond grateful to have been in his gifted hands not once, but twice. Truly one of the best in Toronto, and Canada.

I couldn't recommend Dr. Solomon enough for rhinoplasty surgery. Before meeting Dr. Solomon and attending the office for an initial consultation, I found the clinic's website extremely helpful in providing detailed information about all aspects of the surgery. I felt very informed about what I was getting myself into based off this information alone. Upon meeting Dr. Solomon and clinic staff, I was reassured that I would be in great and skilled hands. The Thornhill clinic is beautiful and made me feel at ease with the idea of having surgery in a private clinic setting. I also found the clinic very accommodating on all fronts. I was able to schedule my surgery only 2 months after my initial consultation. That level of service continued after my surgery. I not only received a check-in call the next day, but Dr. Solomon and Nancie responded in a timely manner to all my emails with questions I had during the initial recovery process. Nurse Vesta was also excellent at explaining the recovery process and alleviating my concerns after the cast was removed (at which time your nose can look a little scary). 5 weeks post rhinoplasty, I am beyond thrilled with my results. My nose looks exactly the way I envisioned, and everyone comments on how natural it looks and how well it fits my face - the sign of a great surgeon.

I had permanent facial fillers done over 15 years ago and in the following years, they have caused me so much pain and discomfort. I searched far and wide (yes I researched options abroad) for a doctor who would remove them for me. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the procedure, I was unable to find someone who would take on my case until i met Dr Solomon. Dr Solomon is a true expert in his field and demonstrated this by successfully removing my permanent facial fillers, achieving something that every other doctor I spoke to would not even consider. Post-surgery, I am delighted to share that the incision is healing quickly and is barely visible.

I am so happy with the services provided by Dr Solomon and would recommend him to anyone looking for a facial cosmetic surgeon.

If you call asking about a referral, good fückïng luck not getting told "you're calling the wrong number" and you need to call the number for my other useless co-worker bïtch that is just as retàrted as me.

These bitchês' assigned role is literally to reject any potentially new patients by essentially telling you to go ahead and fÛck yourself in the most legal way possible.

I would strongly and passionately not advise any humans to even have the thought of getting any type of services done at this corrupt and disgusting organization, where you will have to face the ghoulish dum demon in disguise named MARISSA to handle your referrals.
This whôre LOVES to cut you off multiple times while trying to explain your situation and confront them about their soulless stupidity, she will start to raise her voice at you with an aggressive and threatening tone that is absolutely unacceptable in a workplace.

I believe this place's fundamentally built on racism because when they saw my name is 'Jamal" and heard I was an immigrant, it was clear they instantly treated me differently as if I didn't belong here and needed to go back to my country.

Unless of course; they treat everyone in this morbid manner, which is also not hard to believe at all. MARISSA sorry àss blatantly lied her but off to my face! After dealing with her other disabled co-worker in the past and her telling me they have my file in the system. MARISSA the wicked witch tries to tell me they don't have my name in the system whatsoever, and no referral from the doctor after calling for the 14th time and getting told to call multiple different MÔtherFUÇKING numbers almost every day. These scamming lies were told to me even when I literally made sure my amazing doctor, Dr Fung god bless his soul, sent a referral to this gross clinic.

Well, good for you Marissa, I hope you're real proud of yourself for having a job where your main mission is to discriminate against people of colour and reject new patients who desperately need to see a specialist. Its great to know I came to this country to expect a well respected health care system which is viewed so highly on a worldwide scale, then you have multi millionaire corporations like this with absolutely nauseating ways of doing business, to completely demolish that hope you had implemented in your mind and lowers your expectations of this supposedly 'free' country to an all time low.

It honestly shocks me to think medical practices are consciously hiring senseless and worthless humans like marissa, jessica, natalie, ashley etc.of white women names. But it's whatever, it makes sense they're still holding their position since they MUSTtt be providing 'Dr' Solomon a with their own form of sPeCiaL service which requires a WHOLE LOT of the 'T' part in the acronym ENT specialist, if you catch my drift ;)

I had Septorhinoplasty in April with Dr. Solomon and I couldn't be happier with the results! My nose is very natural looking and I can breath so much better. Everything was explained well in the info booklet and I was hardly in any pain. Thank you Dr. Solomon!

Do you like getting the runaround? Do you like wasting your time with some of the most incompetent nurses and administrative staff? Do you like being told someone will call you and they never follow up? Do you love having to chase the nurse down to get a quote and being told the quote was already provided? If so, this is the place for you! I assume most people here lose 10 years of their lives after going through the headache that is trying to book an appointment, a consultation, and a follow up procedure.

Back in 2014 I was booked with and referred to Dr. Solomon for a consultation regarding septoplasty/rhinoplasty.
After the consult was done I realized that I saw a colleague Dr. Atlas instead.
Had the surgery septoplasty and, it failed after eight months.
Before going back, a tumor was found on my liver and that had to be dealt with first.
Now I have to have septo/rhinoplasty to fix my nose properly.
Saw a plastic surgeon whom said my septum was "grossly damaged" and "grossly deformed".
Was quoted $18,000.to fix this mess.
I can't breathe through my nose and have chronic sinus infections and pain.
Perhaps, if I wasn't passed off and saw the doctor I was referred to this may not have happened.
Now I have to shop around. The surgery I had on my liver has left me disabled.
I haven't been able to work since then (2016) and, can't afford $18,000.
Just make sure you actually see the doctor you were referred to.
Surgeries can often go wrong!

After doing extensive research on rhinoplasty surgeons, I found Dr. Solomon who gave me the perfect nose I've always wanted! I also did a chin augmentation with him and a septorhinoplasty to fix my deviated septum, and found to be more than happy with my results. I felt relieved to know that he knew exactly what I wanted and what needed to be done in terms of changes to the shape of my nose and chin, was very precise with his work, and very knowledgable given his expertise. I was extremely nervous before this surgery but his staff made me feel very comfortable, and answered all my questions I had regarding the surgery. I was glad to see after my first post-op appointment that Dr. Solomon had created a natural look that was proportional for my facial structure. Needless to say, I found the recovery very painless and quick as I was able to return to work in 10 days post-op and have also received great compliments about my nose and chin from friends and family. Would highly recommend for all your surgical needs!
