Dr. Suzanne Caudry

I've been a happy patient for over 15 years and many implants. Dr. Caudry is incredibly skilled (She teaches other periodontists) and I feel lucky to have found her. She recently saved an implant that everyone else had given up on, saving me thousands and a lot of grief!

UPDATE: I have a sinus lift and bone graft performed yesterday by Suzanne Caudry and team. I can't say that I would recommend having to be in a situation where one requires both of these things, but if you are, Dr. Caudry is the person you need to see.

Beyond the great (and it appears successful) procedure I had that will allow me to get an implant in a few months, what really took me back was Dr. Caudry's approach. She had decided on one approach after reviewing the imaging that was required, and like many professionals that are highly skilled, she decided how she wanted to handle my case.

But then something astonishing happened. She called the following day - a week prior to surgery - to let me know she had been thinking about it, and made a recommendation to change the sequencing of the procedure (s) to allow for a much higher level of success. I was shocked. I can't say that I have ever received a phone call like this. And shocked, meaning great.

Clearly I was actually a "person" to her, not a "case", and that she takes her work so seriously that things that "tug" on her, she reflects on, and then acts on if necessary. Only the best of the best do that. Simply amazing.

Thank you Dr. Caudry and team for being so life changing.

On a final note, I know I was told I wasn't supposed to make any decisions or do anything complex 24 hours following twilight sedation, and here I am writing this note. I am at 12 hours post-procedure, so I am calling myself lucid!

As I went to write this review, I glanced a couple of the other reviews. And I had a bit of a chuckle as I saw that the office replied to comments posted. I chuckled because the staff is so outstanding, that this simple act reinforced my thoughts on my experience.

I have "the worst teeth", and in meeting Dr. Caudry and team today, I felt hopeful that I had a solution to a current implant I need, but also well informed about what I need to do in the future, as it is expected I will need a couple of more.

Not only did Dr. Caudry spend the time to explain everything, her knowledge, candour, and manner all served to take a huge burden off my mind, but also be confident I have chosen the right periodontist.

For reference, both my dentist and the surgeon who did a previous implant recommended against an implant for this molar. I was so happy I sought a second opinion to find out my options, and more importantly know I am in the right hands with Dr. Caudry and team.

At the start of this process I was very apprehensive about having my gum graph operation on 5 bottom teeth. I had heard stories about this procedure from many years ago and was basically told your crazy to do it. Six weeks later now, I just had my 6 week check up, everything is absolutely perfect and the gum graphs I had done have completely covered the exposed roots, which were pretty bad and now you can’t even tell I had surgery. After a few weeks, I was back to eating relatively normal, chewing on my back teeth.
I was referred to Dr. Caudry by my wife, who had very extension work done as well, bone graphs and implants.

Dr Chaudry is a highly experienced professional and I and my wife are extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr Caudry. If you’re looking for quality, professionalism and skill, she’s the one to go to.

Let's be honest: Nobody looks forward to seeing a dentist, never mind a Periodontist/Implant specialist. Whenever I see Dr. Caudry, it means I've got a serious issue. But she's the best. I really appreciate the step-by-step explanation of each procedure and the time she takes to answer questions. She's super direct, doesn't sugarcoat anything, and does really great work. She's highly skilled and her confidence inspires confidence in her patients. I I love that she works so well with my dentist, so I have complete, expertly coordinated, care. Dr. Caudry does have a secret weapon, though: Charlie. Where else can you get a bone graft and spend time with a beautiful and well-behaved dog? For a nervous patient, Charlie is a godsend. I feel I'm in great hands (and paws) when I'm in Dr. Caudry's office.

Stepping into Dr Caudry office I felt like I was at home. I immediately notice a large framed photo of her a beautiful white horse and I knew at that moment we had something in common and sure enough we got talking about horses, our dogs and travel. Dr Caudry is a warm inviting person that has this warmth of light and you feel her genuine caring nature the moment she introduces herself. She is a flawless professional who provides outstanding service and her staff is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this office for all your oral health.

A year ago, I went for a free consultation and a quote for my sinus lift, extractions and implants for 2 molars at Dr. Suzanne Caudry's office in Yorkville. She has a group of friendly and delightful staff, the office is clean, quiet and spacious. Dr. Suzanne Caudry addressed all my concerns and explained in detail the process/procedures. I walked out with an organized silver folder with pre and post operative info. Today, my last follow-up at the office to ensure that everything was perfect. The 2 operations I had was completely painless and the implants are immaculate. I highly recommend Dr. Suzanne Caudry. Read up on her repertoire, she is quite a remarkable dental surgeon.

Dr Caudry is by far the best in her field. I started seeing her pre pandemic; I came in with an abscess that was killing me and she took care of it right away. I suffer from periodontal disease. A couple of weeks ago, I had a full periodontal cleaning. I can honestly say that my teeth have never felt as good as they do now. Ever in my life. Since then, every morning and every night, when I brush my teeth, I feel like I just left the dentist - and this is because of the thorough cleaning that I had. I do have to admit that my gums were very sensitive for a week and a half post cleaning, but it was absolutely all worth it. My gums feel healthy and strong, so do my teeth, I’ve seen a decrease in bad breath and I no longer bleed when I brush my teeth or floss. If you suffer from gingivitis or any kind of periodontal disease, and you want someone who’s going to genuinely care and help you long term, Dr Caudry is the one for you.

Great office and friendly staff. When I booked for an initial consult she was able to accommodate the surgery on the same day. Everything went smooth and the recovery went well! Was given great advice for post-op. Clearly knows her stuff.

I had two surgeries done with with Dr. Caudry, one was to restore my gums & the other was dental implants. I felt safe being in her care and happy I was able to choose the option to be put under. The clinic is very clean and professional & Dr. Caudry herself, has a wonderful confident personality. Very happy with my results.

Dr. Caudry and her team are fantastic! I had cracked a tooth down through the root and my dentist recommended Dr. Caudry to extract it and do an implant to replace it, which ended up requiring a bone graft and sinus lift as well. So many visits to see Dr. Caudry. She is obviously a top notch expert in her field, and she has a way of putting you completely at ease in what is never a fun visit. She offers full sedation for the procedures, which makes it all like you never even had to see the dentist. I can't recommend Dr. Caudry and her team enough (all of which were fantastic, from the receptionists and folks dealing with billing to her clinical staff). Easiest five stars ever!

Dr. Suzanne Caudry's dental implant for my son, following an accident he suffered some years ago, and a recent implant of my own following the degradation of an old procedure (a difficult "rescue" due to bone loss) were both performed brilliantly with optimal outcomes. Dr. Caudry's technical mastery, her upbeat manner and warm sense of humour inspire complete confidence that you are in the right hands. Dr. Caudry rescued me from the dental hole to which I had been confined by my previous surgeon who had recommended another of the ongoing painful and expensive surgeries on the same three infected implants with substantial bone loss. I am relieved and grateful. With nowhere to turn, I found Dr. Caudry on the Internet and was impressed with her extensive education, accomplishments, commitment to teaching, excellence, and the latest in technology. She explained why the three implants had to be removed and the procedures going forward, and answered my questions clearly. I immediately had trust and confidence in her, those having been sadly diminished. I could compare, and saw that she was highly skilled in performing two surgeries, one to remove three implants and two infected teeth, and insert bone grafts, another very complicated one to replace a lost implant, and all resulting in very little pain and swelling compared to what I had previously known. Dr. Caudry's superior recommendations for the care of my implants will save the other three still remaining. She is always punctual and her knowledge never fails to amaze me. She is delightful, funny, honest and compassionate. Her staff is extremely helpful. Dr. Caudry is the best there is, and I would highly recommend her. As someone who is extremely phobic of anything dental, Dr. Caudry was a gift from Heaven. My procedure had to be done in many steps (over the course of about 8 months), and every step of the way, she was kind, professional, knowledgable and accommodating. She did everything possible to put me at ease. I was able to be sedated for my procedures and I was always very confident that I was in great hands. Dr. Caudry's staff is friendly and personable. From the admin staff (who were always helpful in my booking and billing needs) to her clinical staff who were gentle and efficient, I was made comfortable in a (for me) very uncomfortable situation. If you have to have someone's hands in your mouth, I can't recommend Dr. Caudry (and everyone in her office) enough.

Dr. Caudry has done two implants for me. The first was a bit challenging. Dr. Caudry was fully available to assist including after-hours and on a weekend, which I greatly appreciated. She is very experienced, skilled and knowledgeable and genuinely cares for her patients. I have been very pleased and impressed and am happy to highly recommend her.

Amazing session! I went in to see Dr Caudry regarding my gum health as advised by my orthodontist after two years of braces treatment. I was concerned that my gums had been reseeding. Dr. Caudry came into the room and was laser focused on my concerns. She made sure to inspect at my gums before ordering x-rays, which was very much appreciated. She was thorough, confident and very pleasant. She didn't try to up-sell me on any treatments. In fact, she made it very clear that I didn't need periodontal treatment. We went over my oral hygiene routine and after the the end of the amazingly informative session, she didn't even charge me! She was more than happy to educate me and insisted that she wouldn't charge anyone who didn't need treatment. We definitely need more specialists like Dr. Caudry in this world, I can't stress that enough!

Dr. Caudry is second to none! The convenient central location, outstanding service, and quick and seamless procedures; really left me impressed. My old dentist failed to let me know that I was suffering from severe bone loss, and my NEW dentist told me to see Dr. Caudry. I was told that there was a very strong chance I would lose my lateral incisor and a decent chance I would lose my right incisor because the bone loss was so extreme.

After a bone graft surgery in June 2020, and frequent check-ins in between, I can happily say that after my final check-in (Jan 2021), the surgery was a miracle and I'm now able to keep both teeth.

Putting aside stuff like punctuality (the office is very punctual), helpfulness (no one I dealt with in the office could have been any more helpful) and the like, what is important here is Dr. Caudry's periodentistry, which is top notch.
Additionally, it's as close to painless as it can be, I'd be back in a flash should I need such treatment again.

I had a clinical crown lengthening/ periodontal surgery done by Dr. Caudry.
She and her assistant did an excellent job from the initial consultation throughout the entire procedure. My gums seem to heal well and I wish I had gone earlier.
