Dr Facey is so wonderful with my kids. She performs the eye exam quickly and makes it fun for them. My son (2.5 yo) now only wants to wear frog glasses just like the ones she used during the exam. Dr. Pathak is an amazing optometrist. She is kind and caring. She is amazing with our son who she’s been checking his eyes since birth. She really makes you feel so comfortable. Kayla and Dr. Facey were a really great addition to my post-concussion recovery team. They were patient, kind, and extremely professional. The vision therapy program that they created for me greatly aided my recovery. I am very happy that they were recommended to me from my regular family optometrist. I would recommend this support to others suffering post-concussion vision symptoms.

Everyone was friendly and professional. Appointments are always a pleasant experience. The only issue would be the parking availability, particularly if you require/need handicapped parking.

My son currently completing vision therapy with Kayla and Dr. Facey. Dr. Facey and Kayla viewed all my sons document from his old vision therapist in the USA once we relocated back to Burlington and set out a plan on how we can continue moving forward with his vision therapy. My son loves seeing Kayla and says he gives her a 5 star review! She is very patient, kind and friendly with him. She answers any questions that I have and is incredibly knowledgeable. My son went from struggling in certain areas in school to now being above average in certain subjects. We definitely can't thank Kayla and Dr. Facey enough for all their help and continuous support.

I returned to Dr. Brodie after several years away. It was refreshing to once again be treated by a doctor of her professionalism. She explained my issues in great detail leaving me with no unanswered questions. There was no high pressure sales pitch and her staff were pleasant and accommodating. It was a good experience and I was glad to be back.

I had my first appointment today with Perspective Vision which was a great experience! Everyone was very friendly and professional, the office was clean, and they have reserved parking spots at the back of the building for customers which is convenient since the location is downtown and parking can sometimes be tricky, especially on weekdays during business hours.

Dr. Facey & Kayla are wonderful practitioners. I have been seeing Dr. Facey for more than 6 years and she has helped me through multiple concussions which have directly affected my vision. Kayla is very knowledgeable about vision exercises and visual rehabilitation, as I worked with her for my second round of vision therapy when I sustained another TBI.

When I first started vision therapy I was having a lot of trouble reading - over the course of several months, seeing Dr. Facey & Kayla every week, I made significant progress and now have no trouble reading and am back to where I was pre-concussion!

My two year old son now sees Kayla for vision therapy as he was born with strabismus. He has had eye surgery to correct it, but still needs vision therapy as he still has a slight eye turn. The exercises are fun and easy for him to do - and she is great with him.

I definitely recommend Dr. Facey and / or Kayla. Whether it’s for a yearly eye check up, or something more complicated that requires vision therapy, they both are very professional and knowledgeable and have helped both my son and I a tremendous amount.

Both my children saw really noticeable improvements through doing vision therapy with Kayla and Dr Breanne Facey. I cannot recommend vision therapy enough, especially for young athletes and any children who are struggling in school. In my opinion it's the future of eye care.

My kids both did vision therapy with Kayla at Perspective Vision. At first I was sceptical about whether this therapy would work and whether it would last. The eye turn completely went away with no need for surgery & it has not returned 4+ years on. It worked really well to improve both kids' vision & confidence, and even reduced their prescriptions. Helping Earth and us. Dr Pathak made eye exam appointment as fun as possible for little children with her bright and fun personality not to mention thorough update after the check up. Also I love how this is one of the rare office to practice contact lenses recycling. I collect my daily contact lenses container in the bag that perspective vision provide, fill 3 bags up and drop them off when I pass by. I love it. This is the only office around here collect them for recycle. Thank you for being in our community.

I have been attending this clinic since my daughter turned 3 and she’s now turning 8. Every time we attend we receive excellent care from all the staff. Both Dr Facey and Dr Pathak are great with my children. Most recently my 3 year old boy was seen by Dr Pathak and she was great at making him comfortable in order to complete the eye exam. Now all 4 of our family members attend this clinic. I can’t recommend them enough for both young and old!

I have been a patient of Tracy Brodie’s for well over 20 years. I have always been extremely happy with every aspect of care she has given me.she is thorough, very competent and always friendly and kind as are the staff who work with her. I wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else even though I have moved 45 minutes away.

I was 35 getting my first pair of glasses. I never had actually been to an Optometrist before and Dr. Facey took the time to walk me through the tests she was performing and answered all my questions. I have been going to her for a few years now and she works with my kids as well. Highly professional, but easy to connect with and her staff are excellent as well. A great place to go if you want your eyes well taken care of with a wonderful team of caring professionals.

The staff at Perspective Vision are very friendly and professional. Dr. Facey is incredibly patient and thorough and takes time answer all of my questions. I also love the contact lens recycling program. I can simply collect my used contacts & packaging in a bag and drop them off at the office to be recycled. Happy patient, happy planet:)

Our whole family has been clients of Dr. Facey since 2013! Dr. Facey and the office staff are always knowledgeable and take great care of us for both regular and more urgent eye care needs. I brought my 10 month old for his first visit in February and the staff was fantastic! I was very comfortable with their covid policies and felt safe bringing my infant who could not wear a mask. The optometrist was great with him and made it fun and interactive. Highly recommend for young children.

Dr breanne facey literally took away all my vision stress. For about a year I’ve been investigating what was going on with my eyes. I went to a different optometrist and got a test done and said I was all good. I knew I wasn’t but he seemed to brush me off and didn’t care. A friend of mine works for dr facey and told me they would be able to figure out what was going on with me so I got my GP to get me a referral to get an appointment. The place is a cute little office downtown Burlington. Easy to find and lots of parking and the girls were super friendly but lets talk about the real rockstar. Dr facey did so much more testing then I knew was supposed to be done. The first place I went to didn’t do nearly half the tests dr facey did. She asked me if my eyes were doing “this and that” before I could even explain to her that my eyes were doing “this and that”. She knew right off the bat was I was experiencing and what needed to be done. She was very informative especially with vision and it’s relation to thyroid issues (I’m hypothyroid hashimoto) which is comforting having someone experienced with that relation. We were also trying some different lenses and I told her I wasn’t confident with the answers I gave her because they all kind of looked the same to me and I couldn’t tell and she assured me she was confident with her answers from the testing and was just trying out the lenses to see but she already got what she needed which was a huge relief because I’ve never had eye problems so I don’t know how any of this works. Anyways she seemed very interested in having me as a new patient and seeing me for a yearly check up and it’s a nice feeling knowing someone cares about you and your progress. 5 stars isn't high enough to rate Dr. Facey. She is gentle, knowledgeable, patient and perseverant. She wouldn't give up until we were both satisfied with my lenses. I honestly wouldn't bring my child to anyone else. She will ensure they get the perfect fit, guaranteed. The entire staff is friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Pathak was fantastic. Very friendly and efficient. All of the other support staff were amazing also. Would 100% recommend.

Dr.karen Bochnak is very professional, knowledgeable and patient. She answered all my questions and concerns. The place is very clean, well organized. Barbara helped me to find two pair of glasses frames with very reasonable prices and great quality and features. Really enjoyed my first time experience!

Dr. Pathak is incredible, this is my second appointment with her in the last two years and both times I have had nothing but a comfortable and positive experience from her and the entire office. Dr. Facey is great! Very knowledgeable and understanding. Everyone is always so friendly when I come in! I never have to wait for my appointment and they make sure to do reminder calls which I always appreciate.

I came here for an eye exam and ordered my glasses online. They came back blurry so I went to another optometrist office because this one didn’t have any frames I liked. Then I find out Dr. Facey gave me the completely wrong perscription! Don’t go here, they don’t know what they’re doing.

Dr Facey and staff are so amazing. You will always be in great hands making each visit such a delight! They take great care and pride with every check-up and finding you the perfect pair of glasses time and time again. So many trendy styles to choose from - can't wait for my next visit!

Disappointing experience here. They did try - but in the end it cost more than it should have and my 86 yr old mother is still struggling with her eyeglasses. I have 2 main issues.

Came here in March 2018 for my Mom who is early-stage dementia and who is very frugal. She was constantly lifting her eyeglasses to read and to do things that involved details (picture puzzles). She has OHIP coverage only - no private medical plans/insurance.

Saw doc #1, got a new prescription [progressives $350.00], went to the lab to have new lenses fitted into her old frames. She didn't have them on for 10 seconds before she said the right lens was awful and she could
not wear it. The lab put her old lenses back in and we returned to Dr Brodie's to be retested and refitted, with the same doc. But doc #1 said she could find no issue with her orig diagnosis and fitting, so she recommended we see an ophthalmologist - waited 2 months for the appt - specialist said Mom had early-stage AMD (right eye) - BUT there was "no reason why she shouldn't see perfectly well with the correct prescription and fitting". That's a DIRECT quote - I asked him
point-blank.

So we returned to Dr Brodie's with that evaluation and their response was "Ok - she has early AMD so that's why her vision in her right eye is not perfect. The end. " Wait a sec - that's not what he said. You're over-simplifying the evaluation from the specialist you sent us to? ! (Issue #1)

I requested a third test by a different doctor. They said they can't do that - even though there are 3 doctors in the practice - once you're assigned a doctor - that's the one you have to stay with, OHIP will not allow a change.

I insisted and said I would pay for my Mom to be re-examined by another doctor. So we saw doc #2 [$90.00] and doc #2 gave us a NEW prescription and a NEW fitting. ***PLEASE note this*** doc #2 determined my mom needed a different prescription AND a different fitting than doc #1 had TWICE determined - yet I STILL had to pay $90 to get that corrected (Issue #2).

We ordered the new lenses [we did not have to pay for the corrected lenses - as we were still within their 90 day guarantee]. Went to the lab again - new lenses in old frames again. Initially these are much better, but over the next few days Mom says they are still not perfect. She is still using them - but still has to lift them to read or see small details.and when she closes her left eye the vision in the right is blurry. So we are out-of-pocket $440 yet we are exactly where we were when we walked through their door.

I'm trying to convince Mom to get bifocals - no success yet. When I do, we will not go to Dr Brodie's, we will need to go somewhere that will provide an actual refund (Walmart) just in case bifocals don't do the job.

I'm not an idiot - I understand that eyeglasses are a "Custom" product and a small independent business can't absorb an expense that would come
with providing a money-back guarantee - but they have missed the bigger picture here. I also wear eyeglasses and will need new ones in Spring 2019 - and I'm still working so I have excellent coverage. They've lost 2 customers, not 1.

Lastly - I must say everyone in the office is very nice. My Mom's memory is really bad, she can be demanding, opinionated and kinda rude
if she gets annoyed. The staff here were patient with her, accommodating, polite, happy to help and in many cases,
went over & above.except when doc #1 misdiagnosed us.

Dr. Facey is amazing! I have two children (my eight year old does not require glasses however; my three year old does) and they LOVE coming to get their eyes checked. The recommendation of purchasing the NanoVista glasses for my son, was perfect! They are destruction proof, he can't break them and - most importantly - they have survived day care. I did spend the extra $40.00 to have transition lenses (change to sunglasses) as my son is outside a lot and he requires them for distance. I recommend Dr. Facey to all my friends with children as she has the special touch to making them feel at ease, welcomed and that they can enjoy getting their eyes checked.
