Dr. Uday Chadha

Very poor and inhumane behaviour from the staff. Unfortunately this is our family doctor. My husband went to this clinic after taking a half day leave and he works very far from this clinic. By the time, he reached the clinic, it was just 1.05 pm and the clinic office timing is until 3 pm. He is having a medical condition which needs an immediate attention but short of emergency in nature. He took leave from his work to consult this family doctor and the receptionist blindly said they are done for the day though the clinic timing is until 3 pm. This is a ridiculous and irresponsible behaviour that we are facing and they know very well that it’s highly impossible for us to go to the emergency and wait for long hours. If they cannot consult a patient who’s in need, then why these people are practicing as family physicians without understanding the patient’s condition. Sorry to say I am very much disappointed with this clinic. It was always very tough to contact them through phone as they don’t pick up any calls.

Very unprofessional and highly ill mannered staff especially the receptionist. It was my first day to register my kids and was a meet up appointment. The assistant took the record and doctor didn’t show up. I asked the assistant where is the doc, it is the meet /greet appointment so who am I meeting to? The assistant!
The assistant called another doc (not chadda) she said as per the record your kids are healthy you can go, there is another kid crying so I have to see it. I said my daughter was coughing due to asthma, she said it’s normal use humidifier. That’s it, no ears, lungs, breathe checkup. Then the illiterate receptionist came over and said we are professionals, all are certified, no misbehaving here (I only asked for doc). I was there to meet the doc not the receptionist or assistant. No one showed up. A HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL CENTER. Don’t waste your time going there.

The ladies at the front desk however are extremely aggressive, rude and confrontational! Especially the Arab lady with the glasses! Every time I go there she says something insulting and tries to start a problem. There’s another Arab lady, which is very rude but I just started seeing her I haven’t seen her that much but already first time I seen her she was extremely rude. But the lady with the glasses should be fired, everyone I know that goes there has a problem with her. She is super nasty with her words, I love Dr chadha so much but I’m wanting to switch Doctors because of these ladies in the front.

The receptionnists are so bad, rude, unprofessional plus the language barrier. My child was referred there and someone called me on May 3rd to see if we were still interested to book an appointment, I returned the call the same day, left a message. They called today and because I didn't answer (sorry if I need to work) they left a message stating the referral was returned as per their procedures/guidelines. Returned the call again right away and the referral was alreay returned. What on earth!?

Now I understand the poor rating. Dr.might be OK, but reception deserve 0 star in my opinion.

Has anyone spoken about the horrendous, dangerous act of faxing prescriptions to my pharmacy with glaring errors, twice with the wrong medication completely. My pharmacist just shakes his head and says it’s common with that clinic.

Horrible clinc. Rude staff completely lacking any manners. They never pick up the phone. The doctors are OK but not on top of things. They lost my kids results from CHEO once and they won't fax prescription renewals to the pharmacy even when you already had an appointment.

Front desk receptionist for Dr Anu Chadha never answers the phone and has a bad attitude. The physician isn’t available and has irregular schedule, so almost impossible to book an appointment.

Very very very RUDE staff at the front desk of both dr Uday Chadha and Anu chadha. Today one of the front desk ladies (an old one) literally kicked me out of the clinic because I was accompanying my son (6years old who had the appointment) and we were accompanied by my baby who is only 6 months old. She said that I am supposed to accompany my son alone and not to bring my 6 month old baby with us to the dr appointment. When I argued what if I am a single mum and there is noway I can leave my baby alone, she replied then leave her with someone before you come to the clinic, basically a stranger as I don’t have any family members in the town. I am going to take a legal action against her. I do not recommend place at all and I am going to transfer to another family doctor as soon as possible.

If I could give minus few stars I would do that. I am very dissapointed about this clinic regarding the front staff and the way their doctors work. First of all front staff is very rude and unprofessional. They do not accept if they made a mistake in booking appointments and talk to people in an extremely rude way over the phone. My concerns about my baby was ignored by the doctor and seems that they do not have updated knowledge about new pedeatric treatments. I am just very dissapointed and suprised that this clinic is allowed to treat babies, even after this much of one star negative reviews.

Dealing with unprofessional clinic. They don't remember their patients.
They weigh your baby in the waiting room not private room.
We have never met the Dr. Always the nurses. I would never recommend this Dr. Office even Tho there is shortage in Drs.

Worst run doctors office I have ever seen. My kids and I are supposed to be their patients but they won't answer the phone. When I walk in I'm turned away because they do t take walk ins and td to go to CHEO.

The doctor here belongs in the circus with the rest of the clowns. His staff is great for dealing with the mess that this clinic is. He interrupts you every chance he gets and is extremely impatient. Him and his assistant chuckle as we asked about concerns we had about our child. Just simply nodding and showing you understand gets him riled up. He will always say that I very concern you have is normal without a simple explanation.

Of course it’s simple economics as the demand for healthcare professionals far out way the supply of decent doctors. We came here as a last resort which is most likely the case with many people I have spoken to. Get your child’s shots and run to another provider.

Terrible pediatric care. They have lost my daughter's file, they do not keep accurate notes, I have been yelled at by the doctor because they forgot to fax a prescription to my pharmacy, and I requested it to be resent so my daughter could actually have her medication. This place is infuriating to deal with.

Complaining about the rude secretary Mayada more than the clinic itself. I have not seen more rude selfish receptionist than this. She will wait and ENJOY the babies suffering and illness and tell you no the doctor cannot see you. I actually just wrote to the college of physicians in Ontario. If the doctors wont do anything about their staff, ill make sure the college aware of this behaviour and un fairness.
Adding to this, my year and half had temperature of 39.5 degree and i was told “its ok its winter, babies get sick”
The next available appointment a week and a half! Ridiculous

Dr Anu Chadha has done an excellent job of always addressing my daughter's medical needs in a timely manner. We are both grateful for her!

I've called big time to make an appointment even i have sent the office email too.
But never call me back and reply ever!

Absolutely unprofessional. Please do not take your kids to this clinic. They do not answer calls. The nurse made mistakes when administering vaccines to my 2 month old baby. They misdiagnosed him one time and prescribed the wrong medication. The main doctor, Dr. Uday Chadha, is unavailable during winter months. Not recommended at all.

Honestly I didn’t know if the reason why we were getting such horrible service was due to the pandemic…. My kids is 15 months old now, and I am just now reading the terrible reviews… this doctor/office is every parents worst nightmare…. Truly. I only went with him because my in laws highly recommended. This doctor/office needs to get audited and shut down.

I've dealt with Drs my entire life due to many medical conditions, but never had such a bad experience with a clinic. All in all the service is horrible. Mary Jane did you get any education? Rudest person I have ever encountered, go get some help. It doesn't hurt to put a smile on your face, remember that you're dealing with patients. All not to mention how Dr Anu is always in a rush.

I want to give ZERO STARS. No one answers the phone! I have been calling for several days and even left messages and still no one called me back.

I have not seen my doctor in years, as I am a nurse and only seek care when I genuinely believe it is worth getting checked out. I had a virtual appointment booked only to never get a phone call during the allotted time, nor was there any follow up after the missed appointment. Wouldn't be surprised if it was still billed anyways. What a joke.

I am trying to get in touch with Dr. Anu Chadha office for more than 10 days. I left a message trying to renew my prescriptions and nobody answer me back. I booked 2 appointments one on Saturday at 10 AM and one on Monday at 10Am, again no answer. Very bad costumer service. I hope someone will answer my calls

If I can give less than 1 star I would. This place is the worst of the worst clinics ever! They have no regards for the child or even the parent. When you take the child in for an appointment they just administer the vaccine and give the cars and leave. They don't even stay in the room for a minute to ask how the child is doing or if I have any concerns. I couldn't speak to the so called pediatrian! Only his low life minions who are incompetent and don't even speak or understand proper English. I dont know how this practice is still open! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. When my kids had covid and I had to reach them I couldn't get thru to them by phone and making an appointment was next to impossible. I am taking my kids elsewhere! F this place. I hope they close this practice down!

My son has had a cold (NOT covid) for over a month, called the office for 4 days, no answer or call back, brought him to appletree to receive an antibiotic, cold came back and wanted to bring him to his FAMILY DOCTOR this time. It's been 2 days now and still refuse to answer the phone no matter what time during their opening hours are. And haven't received a call back,

This office is absolutely ridiculous. My 7 month old daughter has been sick for 3 days now and all days I’ve called this office from 9am until 3pm with no answer off the phones. I will now be changing Drs.

Dr Anu Chadha is the most incompetent doctor ever. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS DOCTOR. Doesn’t see patients and when you request to see them you get her assistant. 2.5 years post triple bypass surgery and still refuses to see patient to do a proper check up. Is more in it for the volume of patients to run the billables up vs actually providing care. This doctor is not for the patients but for the money. If I could give less than 1 start I would

My baby has been sick over 1 week. I want to make the appointment with his family doctor. I have called 3 times and left messages from morning to evening, but nobody answer the phone nobody call me back.

THIS REVEIW IS ABOUT THE STAFF AND REGISTRATION PROCESS NOT THE DOCTOR (as we never got to that process)

When I first read the clinic's review online and they had a 1.9 star rating, I did not trust them because I work in the service industry and I know it is easier to criticize than appreciate.

Mu husband did say that reviews reflect the kind of service they offer BUT I still decided to move forward.

My experience hasn't been satisfactory at all (I am very easy to please). I have to say I am appalled by the number of issues I have faced within one month of registering my daughter with the clinic.

1) During my registration, I sent them my daughter's details with 2 mobile numbers (one for myself and the other for my spouse). They got my number registered with some other kids registration. I got multiple calls for his vaccination. I was left with a rather rude voicemail saying I hadn't turned up for my appointment which I hadn't booked (obviously my number was on file for some other kid). I got that sorted out by calling them up-This happened while my registration was in process and they were waiting for my daughter's Immunization Chart.

The lady apologized and said it was a mistake at their end and she would rectify it.

2) I had a call scheduled with Dr. Uday Chadha for the 14th of June. He called me and finalized the vaccination dates for my daughter-30th June and 31st July. The doctor seemed nice and I had no issues. I did ask him if I will receive an email for the dates confirmed-to which he replied-NO because they are already CONFIRMED.

As the clinic is a 35 minute drive and both of us are working, I decided to call them on 30th June to confirm the time again. Firstly I was put on a hold and the call was disconnected. The second time I called, was again put on hold (which I don't mind) but then the lady at the other side said that she cannot find any appointments/records of the CONFIRMED appointments.

3) Moreover, despite having my records rectified on 14th June- their records still showed that I had two appointments scheduled that I missed (for some other kid on their file) and even though the lady said that they document every conversation the they have (doctor or receptionist with the client) -She could not confirm the vaccination dates, they type of vaccination my daughter was due to receive. My daughter is overdue for two vaccines (as her previous immunization don't match the Ontario requirements)

The clinic could not find my daughter's DOB on file and that was shocking-they have wrong/incomplete patient information!

What was even more frustrating was that though I was still being polite (working in service industry ethics) the lady was in the blaming mode-if she couldn't find my appointment, maybe I did not book it. The appointments were booked for the other child and they did not show up was also my fault.

Hence, we decided to remove our daughter from their list. I can't take chances with my kid due to this kind of mismanagement.

Not only a greatly experienced pediatrician also a great human being.
After waiting 5 hours at CHEO for my 17 months old baby who had almost 40 degrees fever and not receiving any attention. Dr Uday took us right away on that morning. I am forever grateful to him and his great staff

Honestly Doctor Chadha and his staffs main focus is to swipe the health card and make money. You will not be seen in the office, all appointments are over the phone no matter your child’s illness. The only reason people continue to come here is because finding a paediatrician that will accept you is literally impossible. Just a complete disappointment time and time again! Zero Stars!

The Drs that work there are good but the reception staff are absolutely terrible. Good luck getting a hold of them ever or having them return calls. We switched Drs because of this.

Really poor service. Don’t waste your precious time with them. They book appointment for calls only. My child had some skin problem that’s why it was really necessary to visit the doctor but they don’t allow to do so at any condition. The lady at Pharmacy was giving me some medication to use on face to get rid of the skin problem but the medicine label says DO NOT USE ON FACE. When I showed her the label, she started making faces and ignoring me.

If you need a family doctor, do not attempt to come here. These people are horrible. Not only horrible service, you never actually get to see the doctor. Then when you see the doctor, they mis-diagnose you, which obviousely leads you to receive wrong treatment. I had to visit other doctors on several occasions to adjust my treatments. To add, Mary Jane (front desk) : go get some customer service couses done.

OMG, their front desk lady has to chill and take some cusromer service courses!

You SHOULDN'T attack incoming patients the minute they enter the door and tell them that they should phone from the car if YOU DIDNT SHARE that valuable information when the patient booked their appointment!
I understand it is a pandemic and such but Its not their fault.awful awful service to say the least

Dr. Uday should deal with her as I have seen a lot of reviews just for how bad front desk staff are, shame as they will be the cause they will keep losing patients/customers

Dr Anu Chadha was my mother's doctor for a couple of years. SHE WAS AWFUL. My mother ended up in the ER with acute renal failure because of the pills Dr Chadha had her on. The ER doctor was incredibly concerned about the list of pills my mother was taking under the care of Dr Chadha. They thought my mother had had a heart attack. I called the clinic to let them know what was going on with my mother and told them she was on a dangerous mix of pills and asked why Dr Chadha wasn't paying attention. I never received a call back. After that, my mother's pharmacist indicated that she was concerned about the the pills my mother was on as well and contacted Dr Chadha's clinic twice to express her concerns and she received a condescending fax back saying that these were the pills my mother was on and that was the end of it. Also during the two years my mother was her patient, Dr Chadha never once suggested that she get a physical. All she did was the bare minimum. And she was flat-out neglectful in not paying attention to the dangerous cocktail of pills she had put my mother on. She shouldn't be allowed to practice.

Great first impression.relaxed, experienced.they don't get obsessed about weight, but care if they are healthy. For those who are victimized by doctors with little experience, who are obsessed with saying your child is unhealthy because they are not morbidly obese babies, come here.

Don't know what people are talking about. I walked in off the street and they squeezed me in because I don't have a family doctor and needed a referral. They were all kind to me. Yeah I waited but that's just what you do at the doctor's office! Lol. I really like this team.

My two children have been with Dr Chadha for the past 19 years and the service and care has alway surpassed our expectations. His highly experienced and calm approach is much appreciated along with his investment of time and energy in teaching others. Great and friendly people always doing their best to serve the many that arrive to seek help and care.
