Dragon Boat Fusion Cuisine （The One Fusion Cuisine 聚龍軒）

It was very crowded, even on a weekday. But it is worth it. Food was excellent. So it doesn't matter about the atmosphere. The ha-gow was in an individual dish inside the steamer. Definitely will go back!

One of the top canton style restaurants in the GTA. Good quality dishes and very authentic. Only 1 thing for non mandarin readers… menu could be more user friendly. However, most wait staff explain pretty well. Definitely recommend this place.

The service and atmosphere at this place were truly terrible. We ordered a set menu for four, and only after starting to bring out the dishes did they inform us that they were out of one of the items (fish) and offered to replace it with eel. We declined, and they said they'd take $20 off the set menu. But we wouldn't have ordered it in the first place if we knew the fish wasn't available. Then when we tried to order another dish to replace it, they were out of that too.

Also, a large part of the restaurant was curtained off for a private event, and every so often we'd hear karaoke, mic feedback, music, what sounded like vacuuming etc, which was loud enough to make it hard to carry on a conversation. They didn't mention the event would be going on when we made the reservation.

Never mind that our teacups were chipped, our server knocked over our tea, and the BBQ pork was salty - to mention just a few of the other issues. Needless to say, we won't be coming here again.

Came here a second time and the food quality has really gone downhill. I also had half eaten food hidden under my bowl when I sat down. All the chinaware look dirty, old and damaged. Have to check your teacups and dishes for random messes when you sit down.

My bill was $25 ($5 was water charge). As they have charged me $5 for tap water decided not to tip given that took a huge chunk. Manager literally begging for tips and told me to “go die” as I stated I can’t afford to tip because they took $5 from me. Didn’t know tips was mandatory for a manager to be this rude.

Ordered a shrimp rice roll online last week, but got pork instead. When ordering over the phone today, I have mentioned it, and just to make sure I get shrimp. However, Heidi, who took my order told me that I should have opened the bag and checked to make sure everything was correct. I mean.is that really our job? Terrible service

I celebrated my birthday today in this great place. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a sensational evening and the venue was clearly the reason for that successful gathering. The stuff collaborated in a graceful way, the cuisine was yummy and my friends were so pleased. We shall absolutely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

One of the best dim sum place around the GTA. The pork chashao is highly recommended. Also enjoyed their fried rice selection. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

When we arrived at prime time, around Noon on Saturday, we were told the wait would be an hour. So we sped over to First Markham Place to walk around the mall and check it out. After 45 minutes, we returned and our number was called!

We stuck to the standards: shu mai, har gow, rice rolls, fung jao, cha siu bao, octopus tentacles, and mango pudding for desert.

Everything was loaded with seafood, tasted fresh, and was the best dim sum I have ever had in my life.

Will be returning to try many more dishes and re-order some of the above!

This restaurant is my preferred one. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this place I go the most. The stuff is very amicable and the food they place on your table is so appetizing. I am always happy to have a decent meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

First time at this recently opened Chinese Restaurant "The One Fusion", located south of 16th Avenue & Bayview Avenue, in one of the small plaza. I was impressed with the food. It's an upscale restaurant, yet the price are reasonable. You pay what you pay for, good decor, artsy, modern, good service, good food.

I am impressed with the plating presentation with many of these food items. The teapot has a heatwarmer stand to ensure it's hot tea for everyone. The fish paste with specialty ham comes in a nice plating accessories. The chicken pastries and mango that looks like egg yolk are delicate and photogenic for social media photos. The food are delicious and you can tell the culinary skills by the chefs are top notch here.

It serves dim sum but you can also order big dishes to share on big groups. I haven't tried the dinner here so I can't comment but the food here are great.

ONLY dish I think they can improve on is the presentation of the "Har Gao", the shrimp steam dumpling. The Har Gao itself is delicious, it's the packaging. Instead of having a sleeve to hold the Har Gao, they use individual ceramic plates, it's less sticky which is great but the steam also collects condensation, which water drips are at the bottom of each Har Gao which makes the Har Gao soggy, if they can drip out the steam water in the kitchen prior to serving the customers, it would be better. However, it's not a big deal but something they should look into.

Otherwise, people looking for good food and willing to pay for what they pay for will enjoy this place. This is a great spot for peeps who live in the Richmond Hill and Markham areas.

How is the food?
the food was great, this is one of the better tasting dim sum shop that I’ve been to.definitely come back for the food.they also have other choices other than dim sum, like king crab plate etc, but we didn’t try those.

How is the service?
fairly common service that you would expect from a dim sum shop in Toronto. If you don’t speak Chinese or cantonese, you might struggle a bit.just remember don’t wait around to be served, look for the servers then you are fine

Would I recommend?
if you like dim sum, then yes.come with bigger group of people, if you are just 2 or 3 people.you are not going to be able to get enough variety of food to enjoy

Service: Came it for dim sum at 9: 20 yet had to wait 40 minutes for a table. Stood there watching them seat their regulars yet not even bothering with the queue. Maybe it was just a bad day but to seat only regulars instead of people who waited there seems really unprofessional. When I finally got most of my food I had to wait an hour just for rice rolls. So I spent about 40 minutes sitting around after all my other food had come and even started to watch others get their rice rolls. I ended up asking them about it 20 minutes into waiting and they eventually agreed to check on it for me.

Food: The food here was excellent really pretty presentation and very flavourful. The one food that seemed off was their Beef Rice Roll which has a sour taste for some reason. The rice rolls are hand made and take quite awhile to be served. Steam items come really quickly and so do the desserts.

This place is super busy so be prepared to wait or go at off hours. The interior is nice and looks modern for a dim sum Chinese restaurant. The food was ok but not really all that special. The service was average and didn't match the interior. I can't say I would recommend it since there is a long wait for average food and service at best.

Delicious bbq duck noodle soup lunch special. Offset by weekday wait time of about half an hour to an hour at noon for a table for 2 and about an hour or more if your party is bigger.

Quality of food and service would not make me to spend over 20 minutes to get a parking, and over an hour to get a table of 4 people again. I came around 1pm on a Wednesday. I have no clue about why it's full all the time.

Great dim sum place the food is actually different from traditional setups and gives dim sum a fresh new feel to it. Also they don't jam the tables so close together like other places do which would give you a much more relaxed feel when eating. The decor is very modern and clean looking.

Food is good the place is nice. Service was horrible even for Chinese restaurant standard. For the price of this restaurant, you'd expect better service. Our waitress doesn't smile, when we asked for our late dish, she replied rudely that she told us once that it was not ready. Calling the manager doesn't help much as she wasn't really in a good mood either. All in all, you can get the same food from two other restaurants by the same owner. Price is a little cheaper too, and service is by far better than this place. I'm sure your experience may be different, but this will be my last time visiting this place.

I was excited to try this restaurant, knowing that it's a sister restaurant of Dragon Boat, we do have some expectations going in. But from our dinner, I would say it has exceeded my expectations. The One Fusion Cuisine is probably one of the best place, that's opened recently as well as I've been too. Everything about the restaurant was aesthetic, from the interior design, the decorations, their live stock aquarium and even to the food they served were plated beautifully.

Love the fact they offer unique and extensive menu options and not the same old Chinese menu, all the dishes are specifically curated for Chinese and it does work well for all ages. We ordered the Peking Duck and along with the sides, it came with marshmallows, grapes, cantaloupes, honeydew amongst the normal items. It was definitely the kids favourite. Prices are fair, some might be higher but the total came out to what our normal dinner would roughly be at a similar restaurant, give or take.

I hope they can continue to keep up with the quality in their food, service and innovative menu items so they can truly be 'The One'. This will probably be our go-to restaurant from now on. We will definitely be back to try other dishes and hopefully try their dim sum too.

Remember to make reservations!

We were there for lunch dim sum. It was newly renovated and it looks much brighter and cleaner than the previous place. The foods were better compare to previous place, but not really outstanding. The price are way more expensive than we expected, and there are definitely places not too far that offer better dim sum with better price. Services are OK though. Wait time was crazy during long weekend. We reserved a table a few days ahead but still need to wait 30 mins for a table. We heard some people with no reservation would have to wait over 90 mins to 2 hours to get a table.

Food is as good as Dragon Boat. Decorating looks amazing. Service is quick and helpful. But all of us are having a hard time getting a parking. And the lineup is horrible. Definitely the best place to get Dim Sum, I guess I will go on weekdays instead next time.

Truly a 50.1% review as I did not die from the lack lustre food. This once great and much sought after restaurant has lost its lustre and the food quality is definitely showing the decline.the Curry tarts went bad and had to be returned, the shrimp in the shrimp dumplings must have been the b stock over runs and they lacked any sweetness and started to have a “fishy” taste. The seafood soup dumpling were a joke, the shrimp was absolute mush and even a cellulose sponge would have tasted better with the excessive white pepper used to mask the flavours.the other dishes were just meh.nothing that stood out for a top tier Toronto Dim Sum restaurant.there are many other restaurants now that offer a superior product and will be hard pressed to return for dim sum anytime soon. Btw, the parking situation there still sucks even with the overflow lot with the Keg

Great setting (nicely renovated, comfortable, and well lit), great food (complete with presentation, aroma, flavour and texture), and great service (professional staff and sociable servers - shout out to Yong). I'll be coming back.

What more can i say? This is a highend dim sum place. The food is great for the money you pay. Nothing worse than paying a thefty bill with the food being lousy. This place is worth the try but maybe not on a regular basis unless you got deep pockets. The downside to this place is the long wait time. But once your in you'll never want to leave without trying all the delicious food.

Tasted good but too many people waiting there. Dare not to come if in a hurry! Cannot have reservation for The morning Dim Sum.

Place was very busy and the wait is long, so make sure you make a reservation during prime times. What we ordered for dim was just ok, would not be coming back any time soon for this.

One of the best places for dim sum in markham. Only problem is it's very popular and gets packed regularly. Come early, make reservations to avoid disappointment. Dinner is best enjoyed with a big group of people.

The food was good though slightly more expensive than I would expect for what was served, the quality of the food was good, things were fresh and the serving size was large.

Ironically having a large serving size made it difficult to order and try more food, and there were no options for dimsum after the morning.

Decor was beautiful and the place was well kept. The service was acceptable and the staff were friendly enough.

Great restaurant that serves dim sum and high end cusine. Wedding reception reservations are also available here. The food is delicious and made with care, and servers are prompt.prices may be on the high side, but you get what you pay for. Parking space can be limited however, and accessibility can be slightly lacking.

Very crowded, we need to line up 20 mins before door is open. Parking is limited before restaurant, we need to park on other plaza.

Worst service ever. Waited 45 minutes for a table. They won’t let you look at the menu while you wait so you can decide whether you even want to stay. This is not ideal for elderly people or people with dietary restrictions. Then they crossed out a number of menu items because they ran out. Pathetic.

Holy Sumai Batman!
The dim sum here is pretty impressive. Priceyer then other dim sum places BUT the quality is slightly better. The Sumai are HUGE and taste like they're made in house.
And they're also known for their BBQ pork.itz pretty tastey and every table I saw ordered one.
They even have a dim sum sampler tray that has both savory and sweet options.
I've only been once, but it certainly was a treat and I cant wait to try it again.

Terrible hostess. Made a reservation for 11am on a Sun which was not honored but was guaranteed at time of booking. I even asked to make sure they make reservations and they assured me they do. Chloe, the hostess, was extremely rude and not understanding when we told her about our reservation. She gave us a number and told us to wait. I get it's super busy Sun for dimsum but they could've told us they didnt take reservations when I booked. We could've made other plans. So incconsiderate of their customers.

My girlfriend and I have tried almost every dim sum place in Markham, and this is by far the best. Good value for money too

Fusion dimsum restaurant that has been around for several years. Food quality, and decorations are top notch. Service is hit or miss. Price is higher than other places but if you combine the food, decorations and service it's worth the visit

Really great meal. We were seated immediately at 6: 45 on a Friday eventhough the place was packed. I would suggest a reservation.

Portion sizes are quite large compared to competitive dimsum restaurants. Food is very tasty and fresh. We thought our cost would be high, but for 4 people, our bill was about $60 and we ordered: fried calamari, lotus rice, bao, kalbi ribs, portugese tarts, custard bun, shumai and har gow. Will probably come here again- the wait was about 15 minutes on a Sunday around 2pm!
