Driftwood Community Recreation Centre

Driftwood is a large facility with the ability to have three pickleball courts. The place is a bit tired so they are currently making modest changes to improve it. Lots of parking. Lighting could be better in the Gym.

Many activities. Community news, bulletins, announcements nd opportunities are posted here. Also a pool during summer season nd a basketball court for all season based on user tolerance.

Driftwood Community Center is a boon to the neighborhood. It is also one of the official cooling centers of Toronto.
The center carries out many activities, and most of them are free of charge. Anyone can take advantage of the gymnassium that is equipped with machines like trademills and ellipticals.
The center has an outdoor swimming pool with life guards which is open for all during summer.
The center is not posh, but it is clean, and the staff members are friendly.
Finding a spot to park your vehicle is not difficult, for the parking lot is considerably big.

The outdoor pool is big, great very little ones because they have a big shallow end with a walk in with steps not a ladder.

It was really organized and fast. People in line were informed all the time of what was happening. Really kind of them to have some music. We got there at 5: 30 pm and we got the shot at 6: 00pm.

If you want to improve on anything sports you will and as soon as you walk in they greet you and the staff are so nice

Place is usually empty since most of the kids play on the courts across the street. Downside is the ball can bounce towards the grass or over the fence fairly easily.

Its a decent community center. I come here to vote during the federal and provincial elections. Its well maintained and has a really good parking lot.

I enjoy playing badminton here. 4 courts and the age range is from 14-40. Well run (20 minute buzzer for games) and the skill range is varied too (beginner, medium and experts play here).

The pool was great on a hot day like today. The people are nice and it's a great community centre.
