Driftwood Motel

One of the worst staying aver, bugs, very dirty, black bed sheets, bad smell, I left the room in the mid night.

I like it here. Others have seemed to have problems with disabled staying here but we had no such experience. The man and woman who own it seem very nice. Nice enough that we’ve extended our stay a few times. It’s reasonably priced, not extremely fancy, but it’s clean and we like it here. My husband has some mobility issues but we haven’t noticed it as an issue here. He sometimes uses a wheelchair when we go out and a cane usually. We just needed a place to decompress and stay for a while as we found our footing. This place gave us that, with friendly smiles, some chats and how are you’s.

Beware the website does not reflect the motel at all. Room was below standard. I needed their HST for the Ontario Government’s Staycation Claim, they refused to help and accused me of trying to steal from them. They don’t deserve your business!
