That guy knows pretty well why he’s charging 60 CD per G-license training session, and he’s not shy about it!
As I found out, his prices might seem Expensive Yet they are Cheap. Why?
1. He would never trick you into buying more sessions than you need. In fact, I was the one to insist on another session with him, even though he said I don’t need it. Turns out he is right. Why?
2. I passed the G exam, straight from my G1 license, from the first Attempt, EASILY! Not a mean feat by any means, as a failure would have knocked me back into G2 Territory.
3. His behaviour, remarks, notes, advice, even tone of voice mimic those of a driving test instructor to an incredible extent. You would never feel out of home during the actual test, during which I was very confident and prepared.
4. He has a logical answer to whatever question you throw at him.
5. Especially Respectful, Agreeable and Honest Gentleman.

I went directly for G road test from G1
I had contacted and took lessons from 3 instructors but I did feel comfortable and did not feel i was learning anything new
The first consultation and lesson with Mr Akbar showed how exceptionally brilliant he was at teaching
He was very kind, respecting, supportive and comforting
He taught all the rules with great logics
And after a few lessons once he said I was ready, we went for the test and got my G licence in first attempt without breaking any sweat
Will highly recommend anyone to take lessons from him as it will save you a lot of time and money rather than going with an instructor who charges less but u learn nothing

This driving school is amazing. After having barely any experience driving in a car I was taught everything I needed to know for the G2 test and passed the first time around. I was so pleased with my experience that I came back and trained for my G, which I passed the first time around thanks to Drive Guru. My instructor was extremely patient, easy going and didn’t stress me out. He knew I was a extremely nervous but, reassured me that I was doing fine. This is a driving school I 100% recommend.
