Worst customer service, I've ever experience in all my years (7 years) working for dealerships. I even experienced gentlemen that works there being rude to other people standing in line. Rude in the phone as well. If you are not people person don't work in a customer service industry!

Hi, I went to that MTO office for a vehicle ownership transfer. The service was outstanding, excellent communication, very well organized and the team work is amazing. This visit made my week.

The girl that asks if you have an appointment is very nice. I can't say the same about the lady that came to talk to me after.

This afternoon, I lined up here less than one hour for vehicle ownership transfer, under covid-19 reduced hours, it's done, I'm happy.

Needed to know what I needed to bring in but they are not answering. Their voice mailbox is full and does not take any messages. What a disappointment!

The website says this place is open, drove half an hour to get here only to find out this place is closed, I understand COVID 19, but what I don't understand is how you cannot update your website, get your act together, it's not rocket science to change your site to closed?

They are not open. On Saturday like they normally are. I tried to call and got this mail box is full. It's beyond me why this day and age why they could not have had an answering machine message indicating that they will be closed. It also said they are closed after 2 pm during the week for anyone that wants to know.

This place is great, I have been going there for years. They are always friendly, helpful and quick. Lineups always move fast. Today I had a question about something I couldn't figure out online on the gov website and she was able to take care of it right away and made it easy:)

Took my wife to renew her health card at this location and the agent refused each and all three of the documents we were told to bring for this purpose. The agent then provided us with a pamphlet and said we had to bring one document from each of the three lists outlined.
One of the items in the pamphlet clearly states that a birth certificate is accepted for health card renewals but the employee at this location refused my wife's birth certificate, saying the birth certificate was only good for 'proof of citizenship'.
My wife also brought and produced a copy of her most recent internet bill with her name and address on it but the agent refused this document as well, saying the entire copy of the bill was required. I guess she was more interested in viewing what internet plan we had with our provider.
Lastly and more importantly I called head office earlier in the day to clarify what documents were required to renew a health card and was told that a birth certificate, a utility bill with my wife's name and address on it and something with my wife's signature on it was all that was required to renew her health card.
It was and is obvious this employee felt a need to express her "fictional" superiority, something government employees have a tendency to do at times.
A followup phone call with head office is pending to set this particular employee and issue straight.

Some thirteen hours later I placed a followup call to Service Canada (Ontario) regarding the issue above. This time the agent informed me that only two documents are required to renew one's health card. One being an entire copy of a utility bill with the person's name and current address on it and the other being something with the person's signature on it, as in a credit card that has not expired.
The agent also stated a birth certificate can be and is an acceptable document as one of the required pieces of information for renewing a health card.
In conclusion, it's obvious the employee at the location in Stittsville misinterpreted the required documents to renew one's health card. Best to avoid this location for future government documents.

This place is amazing! We showed up fifteen minutes before they opened on a Saturday morning. I had to change my address on everything, renew two car stickers, my driver's license, my health card, and my husband had to change the address on his driver's license. There were plenty of people to serve and we were in front of a teller within minutes of going in. She managed to do all those things plus take my photo in under four minutes. As I left I told the last people in line not to worry because they are incredibly fast and I'm pretty sure they must have been impressed too (they were standing outside when we left). The fact that we could get it done at all on a Saturday morning is a joy, but the experience of such great service was an added bonus!

I feel this location has changed for the better, a few years back I would have agreed with some of the negative comments (I too experienced it) BUT. I went at 9: 00 on Saturday morning, line up was reaching the door.within 20 minutes I was out of there. The representative was courteous, explained when to expect my new Drivers License and if i didn't have it by a certain date to contact them. I didn't feel rushed out of there. Good job

DISABILITY ARROGANCE. These people are arrogant, when dealing with anyone with a "Disability", I have a "Wheelchair Permit" but that does not matter to any of the staff, I read a story where a Man told the staff, he was unable to remain standing, for any extended amount of time, he was told to be quiet and sit down, he was eventually forced to lay down on a soiled floor, this is the only way he could continue to wait, the staff did nothing to process his request, as he laid there.
There needs to be a program review and a staff review, on this "Government Office", who ever is in charge, of this outlet, needs to go, the pervasiveness of this behaviour throughout this place, is both unconscionable, as well as inhumane, yet, it continues, UNCHECKED.

Does not answer the phone during regular business hours. Well actually they do, then hang up on your face right after.
