I cannot stress enough how absolutely wonderful the staff at this Drive Test location are! I took my test with John, he was incredibly professional and fair. Even if I hadn’t passed, I would still be writing a shining review for all the employees here. It was well worth the drive from Ottawa to receive such pleasant service. Thank you all again!

Well I failed my G test. Honestly I drive daily and have drove over 200,000km in 2 years. I have drove downtown Toronto, Montreal and always Ottawa. I'm a very comfortable driver. I had John as a driving instructor honestly I was shocked when he told me I didn't meet the requirements. Considering I have no tickets or accidents and I'v had a my G2 twice and have so much experience I was blown away.

I now have to get my G2 for a third time as there are no more available days anywhere in Ontario.

I was reading the reviews and got really nervous. I read to try and be verbal with your mirror checks. If ever you take the test make sure you don't verbally say anything you are doing! It honestly made him upset So please just don't say a word and listen to but don't speak too much.

I also slowed down too much at the pedestrian cross walk. He said if nobody is there you don't slow down.

I also dropped my speed to 79km for a split second in the 90km highway zone. He said I merged at 90km which was perfect but if you go under 80km you will fail.

I will be heading back here tomorrow so I can write my G1 and I'm also doing my G2 road test here again because I have something to prove.

I’ve been waiting and even called with no answer as the test centre was supposed to be open at 2pm. It’s now 2: 31pm and they still haven’t opened.

Excellent customer service at this location and as far as the negative reviews are concerned about attitude, we never experienced that whatsoever ever…I think the problem might be with the people giving the reviews!

Immediately, the receptionists incredibly kind to me. Incredibly helpful and also lighthearted - exactly what you need before a test. I had John for my G and he is hands down the nicest examiner I’ve ever had. Only one that has ever spoken to me or even acknowledged that I’m nervous. Very reassuring, genuinely just a great guy. 10/10, great people all around

Went in for my G2 and had Josh as my examiner. I was very nervous but still passed and he was very nice and informative. People up front were very friendly too:)

I can not believe that this is a service provided in a first world country like Canada! For shame…. Disrespectful, unprofessional and racist.

The instructor was extremely nice and welcoming, which helped me dealing with my anxiety.
My test was at 9: 27 am and there's no traffic. Definitely recommend this center for your G! Just make sure to arrive 30min prior to the test so you can find a good spot to park.

The driver instructor that I had today was incredibly professional and was very helpful at reassuring anxiety and fears. So long as you have the driving skills to back it up

I've heard that this location's examiners are biased against anyone with an address outside of Renfrew, and after my road test today I believe it.

The major reason that my examiner gave for failing me was that I didn't come to a full stop before turning right on a red light, which is fair I should have known better. But the other reason he cited was that I was missing shoulder and mirror checks, which is completely ridiculous. Obviously I knew that those checks were part of the evalution, so I was doing them fervently in every appropriate direction whenever I changed direction. If you have the misfortune of taking a road test here, I highly recommend saying out loud whenever you're doing a check.

I'm apalled that I had to waste over 2 hours of my day, almost 200km worth of gas, and an additional $90 just because the examiner is miserable.

The first time my daughter took the G2, she was unsuccessful, being from another town, this was unfamiliar to her and she was nervous. HOWEVER, The tester took her through the entire coarse anyway and he EDUCATED her! He was amazing and my daughter learned her mistakes and fixed them! She aced it the second time! She was so happy.
The staff was extremely friendly and social while I waited for my daughter to finish.

Not sure how many driving test people there are at this location. One, in particular should be fired. The guy that smells like cigarettes and vomit needs to learn how to deal with young people who may not be from Renfrew. You are biased, uninformed and your treatment of people is despicable. We will be speaking with authorities to seek your dismissal.

1 star only because I had to give something. Don’t book here, go to Carleton Place or Ottawa. Lady behind the desk was polite and very helpful but she ignores the phones.
The tester was terrible, I believe he fails you if your address is anything other than Renfrew and I do believe he discriminated against my son because he had tattoos. I will be filing a formal complaint.

I attended this location to obtain my DZ licence test. The staff were very polite. I was the last appointment of the day and the examiner, (Crystal) was very pleasant and professional. I was surprised regarding other negative reviews. I believe it's very important to be prepared and simply know your stuff.

Went for my G2 test here. I was very nervous to take it not knowing the location because I am from Ottawa. I went to the Renfrew location because I wanted to take my test as soon as possible and that location had the most recent availability. I took my G2 test and listened to all of the directions I was given. I parallel parked perfectly and drove well. The driving instructor failed me for little stupid reasons that were not clear to the way I drove. Would not recommend this driving centre for any driving tests. Will be retaking my G2 at Walkley in Ottawa where it will hopefully be fair.

The staff are so kind and informative.the secretary was extreamly nice and very positive. The driving instructor was incredible and gave plenty of warning with directions. Overall incredible experience, very clean and professional.

Went here for my G Test. I was worried having read the negative reviews, but there was honestly nothing to worry about. The staff inside were great and my examiner was very kind, clear and fair. If you practice and know what to do, you will be fine!
