Ohh I've done my Road test here too.way back.and I'm there again today. In my experience the staff in this location are really helpful and kind the service here is fast, place is clean and organized. My examiner in g2 I just can't remember his name was a nice man, then on my G road test he is amazing very friendly person I wish I can put his name since I still remember.
He points out things that I need to improve on but in a very nice way and he gives me advise. Chris is very professional examiner. Thank you so much Drive Test london for having good employees.

My driving instructor was very Polite And was very nice to me throughout my driving experience I definitely recommended Xiaoting Yu. Not sure what changed, but the staff here are not rude anymore. I had unpleasant experiences in the past but now everybody seems friendly to clients. Not that it is in their control, but I would have rated 5 star if the waiting time got better as well.

8 Wickets, yet only staffing 2 at most. This is a joke right? Over 100 people waiting, yet here I sit and watch the staff walking around aimlessly. Get you act together and staff this place. It shouldn't be this difficult.

Been waiting for an hour and a half in the blistering hot with no ac and no water. I've seen employees just hanging out outside. Why have a schedule if your going to be hours behind I dont even understand how they can be so far behind schedule

Worst experience of my life.first of all the skipped my test booked for 10: 20am.i had to figure it out on my own when i asked someone what time there test was. I had to wait almost 2 hours. I got A heavy set white woman with curly hair. Then i was failed for not doing blind spot checks, which i did every time! When i told her i always did my blind spot checks. (And Demonstrated a normal Blindspot check of turning head and neck) she said if you don't turn your whole body it is not a blind spot check. Unbelievable! Watch any instructors videos you turn your head not your shoulders.

Extremely unprofessional experience, the staff was uncooperative with providing information since the time of closing was approaching, I'm fine with the test being closed 30 minutes prior to closing time, but unwilling to provide any information just because they were in a hurry to close is unjust, it's pretty frustrating when one has to travel for more than an hour and wait for 3+ hours just to tolerate this kind of behavior.

Anyways i would suggest to look for some better location or to reach this location at 7 am to achieve what you're expecting.

Really busy over the weekend. You get to print out a turn number from the kiosk once you get through the door. Had over 300 people visit on the day I visited and to get write my drive test. The staffs were really cool and warm while attending to clients. Overall nice place though really long waiting time. Note that you have to pay 16$ each time you get to rewrite the test

This company is not only uselss but criminal. I went in there for my Driver's License. Passed the test. They asked for my Photo ID. I gave it to them. They handed me a paper Driver's license. I asked for my photo ID back and they wouldn't give it to me. I asked for the manager and she said the same thing. They told me that i surrendered it and that it was to be destroyed. I just paid $35 for it 3 months ago so now i do not have a photo ID. It's been 6 weeks and i am still waiting for my photo Driver's license Doug Ford needs to shut these places down. They never should have been privatized. Ineptitude and curuption at its best. But the first lady at the counter was very Nice.

I wish I could leaving zero stars. By far THE WORST costumer service I have ever experienced. After waiting hours the sent me away, and the old bitty at the desk was the most miserable person I've ever heard, their was a mother and son duo being "helped" by her, the lady then raised her voice at them because they couldn't find the BLUE feet on the floor, when their is feet ALLL over the floor. Like if your going to work a job that heavily deals with customer service then at least have the decorum to respect someone when there is a language barrier.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Employees barely work, seen taking their time and up from their counter while the centre is completely jam packed. You need to grab a ticket and wait for your number to be called. 24 numbers climbed in 2 hours. Biggest bunch of overpaid government employees I have ever seen.
Do yourself a favour and head to Tillsonburg.

Really a shame how all of your staff are handpicked from the most insufferable and impatient subhumans that London could muster - especially that old, fat, bald tub of lard that clearly has no interest in his job and probably hates his life in general. Request a female instructor or do the test in another city.

Extremely long wait times. Upward of 4+ hours, just to get some extremely rude and unhelpful old lady. I understand that wait times vary and everyone can’t always be helped after waiting, but to be unprofessional and dismissive when I present my forms of ID was too much. She asked “why are you even showing me this? ” when I handed her my drivers license from another country and explained 3 times that I was trying to get my G. There was NO ONE giving information to anyone waiting, only 2-3 people working at a time and only 1 gentleman (with ponytail) trying streamline things. Professionalism and kindness goes a long way when you have to tell people they can’t be helped after waiting 4 hours.

The staff has no knowledge about their work.
First of all, they gave me a G license instead of a G2 license.
Then, they sent me a letter that it was a mistake and wanted me to visit DriveTest again to get it changed.
So, today (Saturday) I went to this place with all the documents mentioned in the letter. The man at the counter yelled at me to come on Monday because he did not know the procedure and said that his supervisor can help me on Monday. He wasn't ready to listen to anything I wanted to say and just kept yelling.
My main question is why should I come again on Monday? And what's the guarantee that they will assist me on Monday?
I went on a Saturday as I work Mon to Fri until 5pm and have to travel over an hour to reach this place. The letter doesn't mention that I cannot go on Saturday.
And that man says, "it's not my problem! "
I don't understand why they are open if they can't help us?
It was their mistake who gave me the wrong license. Now, they are asking me to come another day for assistance. What does this mean? Is it because they are not well-trained? Or is the management poor?
I am very disappointed with their service.
This place needs to shut down.

Because my first test which I didn't pass. It was so bad because of who tested me. Unfortunately I don't know what her name is, but she was a terrible person.
As for Laurie, she completely changed my impression. She is very kind and very understanding person and her style makes the driver feel comfortable and at ease.
Here I want to tell her that I am so grateful and thankful that she was such a nice person.

If you need to do the G1 test, you should go to this place as early as possible, otherwise there would be a lot of people waiting in line. After the pandemic, you can take a seat in the building instead of standing outside.

Took my daughter to write her G1, Policies were great for entering the building ONLY. Most of the staff were amazing. That being said. Unfortunately Some of the people behind the counter were rude and unpleasant she said. I understand this a high stress situation for everyone, but simple kindness and courtesy is not that hard. She is a minor and your actions reflect on how she views situations and how she will handle things moving forward.
Not professional at all.
When sitting outside waiting for her seen many student drivers go by with instructors, the driver’s had masks on and yet the instructors did not and neither did the students in the back seat. Extremely close environment for everyone in that vehicle. They are being strict with COVID policy for the entry of the building that I could not enter with my daughter yet not enforcing it with young students in a vehicle. Backwards!

Took nephew there for his road test. Arrived 15 minutes early, by the time he got to the kiosk to sign in, he was one minute late. They canceled the appointment on him. Need a better way to get people through the lineup.

Passed my G exam. It was smooth. Just go inside and get self check in ticket from the computer by entering your license no and car details and parking spot. The route was 401 and 402 and then wonderland road and then back. Everything was done in less then hour.

Worst place in London.you need to wait 1-2 hour for any service. I got my ticket at 5: 25 pm, with around 50 persons in the waiting room. 6: 30 still waiting.only 2 agent are serving people.plus one of the Stuff was rude!

Horrible treatment from staff. The place was extremely overbooked with very long waiting times. The staff are extremely mood and transfer their bad energy from one encounter and take it out on the next. The chances of you passing depend mostly on their mood. The people inside the building are also very miserable and don’t enjoy their job at all.

I have very bad experience from this office. I had a 10 years of Indian driving experience. When I taking G1 test I have given the driving extract and I was in the thought that they have considered my extract. However, they have returned the documents. Once I checked the account, I realized that I am eligible to apply for G2 only after 1 year. Again I have consultants the office and they informed me to provide new one since it's validity is only 6 month. I have prepared new one and visited again. This time they said that this driving extract not match with their ministry of standards and not ready to provider the reason behind that. I have repteadly asked the reason to thin dark lady but she refused to share the reason. At least they need to tell why it not considered right? Such a bad experience.

Give one star totally because cannot give a zero. Waited two hours for road test, when I came in to ask, they said I was dropped off the list. After they manually add my name in again, I still waited more than half an hour. After I doney road test, I need to get the temporarily license at contour A, but no one was there. I waited more than one hour to get someone finally there and helped with people who done the road test. More than 15people were there waited.

I dropped off my son to do his written test for his G1 and he got through the line pretty quick, even at 445pm! There was a lineup before you get into the building so bring an umbrella if it's raining. Convenient location right off of the 401 in London. You can do written tests here road tests, and pretty much anything to do with licence renewals, etc.

The guy at the front door so rude and unprofessional at all, I don't know his name but hes a big dark skin guy they shd train him how to deal with customers he's bully and he shouldn't stay in his job any more

Excellent attention! They helped me from before presenting the test by providing the necessary information in an effective way. The supremely professional instructors, the attention of each of the people was very friendly. I was grateful to have this institution in London. When I showed up for the G2 it was a positive experience. Now in my G everything was improved, without having any complaints from the first time

I had a G test at this location. My test was at 9.34 a.m. I was at the location at 9 a.m. I did my check-in and they asked me to wait in the car for examiner. I waited for one hour and no examiner came. So I had to go in again and ask when will the test start. Examiner came after that. People have so many other commitments, office meetings etc.everything is getting affected because of this delay and this is also resulting in more stress which affects the performance on the actual test. If the examiner can't make it in time why would you schedule the test for 9.34 a.m. It took forever to complete the G test. Please change the timing according to examiner availability schedule so that it's not misleading people and affecting their entire work day.

How on earth can you sit at this location for 2 hours and in that time they fail to process 5 people?

Passed my G test. Was so nervous. Instructor was Sam, she was so calm which made it better. And she gives good pointers/ corrections when the test is done. Wow one of my best experience at a drive test.

Had my G test, failed it even. The examiner was yelling at me the whole time, putting tons of extra pressure on me. One example of when he yelled at me is that he yelled at me to change lanes while on the 401 so that we wouldn't miss the exit even though it wasn't fully safe. When I did change lanes, being close to the person behind me, he then yelled at me again saying that it was unsafe to do that. I wouldn't have done it had he not been yelling. At the end of the test, after he said I failed, he said something about "women shouldn't drive" before getting out of my car. I felt very unsafe during the test. Now trying to call to report him and I can't get through to a person. This is the worst drive test center

My road test was delayed a little bit but the examiners were super nice and communicative all day! Overall, I had great test with Jassy. She is a super fair examiner and made me feel comfortable driving during my test️

The experience was good. But we need to wait in que for hours to get in. It's better to keep an extra que for G1 test takers and could make some arrangements to those who fail first attempt of their G1 to reappear right away than going back to the long que and waiting again for hours for their next chance. Better to go there after 3 pm so that rush will be less.
Staffs are all good and nice approach received.

I completed my G test recently and was thrilled with the service that I was provided. I arrived early and was finished my test before I was even supposed to start! The driving examiner (I believe her name was Jessy), was very professional, kind, calm and friendly. She conversed with me in the car like a friend, which significantly calmed my nerves. She was clear on her instructions, but still remained very friendly.

After having negative experiences in the past, prior to this test, I was relieved to see how the customer service has excelled in that time.

Great staff team, was very friendly and understanding. I came here for my G test and the person who was doing my test made it easy by talking to me. He understood that I was not from London and gave me extra notice for turns and lights. There wasn’t much line up and I was able to give my test right on time.

It's always busy and I'm trying to cand I'm trying to call and apparently their mailboxes are always full so you can't even leave a message or talk to anybody which gets really annoying

Went for my G driving test today. I had read previous reviews and was nervous given some of the content being written on the testers. My wait was about 15 minutes in line and then only a 5 min wait for the instructor to arrive at my vehicle. I did not catch his name but he was insanely nice which instantly calmed my nerves. He made it so I was not as anxious and felt more comfortable if I needed to ask for clarification. It was a pleasant surprise! Good luck to anyone else going for a G2 or G test. Hope you have a similar experience.

I visit yesterday this test with some fir his class G test.
The person drove very good. No major mistake.
The examiner failed him that when he took hwy exit recommended speed was 30 yellow board he maintained near 40 and still examiner told him u r slow.
Yellow boards are recommended safe speed still you can drive 10 km above but not high.
The problem is there must be some system where you cam challenge their decision.
When we will approach serco or their supervisor.
Nobody listen.second now a days they only told verbally. They have to explain by hwy traffic law book.

Pathetic. Website and phone systems are useless almost designed to waste your time. No easy access to important informatiion which means you must torture yourself with one system or another and try to reach a person. Email is a waste of time too. Sent an email 3 months ago and still no response. Trash current website and phone system and start again.

Pathetic, I feel bad for anybody trying to get there license through this BS. Drive test Ontario is absolute garbage, probably run by Trudeau himself. Both can disappear - would be a much better world.

People working here are very socialble, very kind, and very professional. They explain what I did wrong and what I did great perfectly.

Horrific wait times.
We needed to change a Driver's License from another province to Ontario. An easy administrative task. Was told to go to Service Ontario. Waited in line 1&1/2 hours to be told to go to Drive Test. Then waited there from 3: 30 pm to 7 pm outside, to be told at 7: 01 p.m. To come back tomorrow at 7 a.m.
2 staff working in an 8 wicket office. And there are apparently no other Drive Test locations within 100 km's. Not sure what the solution is, although the system needs help.
If you go, line up at 6 a.m. Or earlier.

I passed my G test here even though I made a couple of mistakes. These examiners are all very kind and will treat you with so much respect. They were a very busy centre so it was a fast test and very fair. I drove all the way from Peel region and it was worth it.

I did my G road test today, the customer service was fantastic the lady that helped me behind the counter was great and very friendly the lady who did my road test was very friendly and she was very clear on her instructions I did pass today on my first try

Long line everyday but the line moves fairly quickly. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean area and sanitized. I went to get my license exchanged and the process is a lot easier than expected.

The truth was I had a very bad experience in that place, I have more than 20 years driving, I drove in Mexico, USA and Canada, with my Mexican license, here I process my license and they told me that I had to first process the G1, and bring documents to go from G1 to Gfull, and I did so, they told me that with G1 I could not drive alone, neither at night, nor on the haigway, and I did so, soon after I was able to make my appointment for Gfull, having barely 3 months With my G1, I followed the rules they told me, but when I got to the drive test they asked me if I had driven on the higway in the last 3 months to which I said no, I did it many times before but exactly in the last 3 months no, and for this reason, my examiner canceled my test, and when I asked the reason he told me that because he had no experience in the last 3 months (I have been driving for more than 20 years) the truth is I understand the policy, but that I had to do? I am not supposed to drive in higway with G1, the truth does not seem fair to me.

Everything went as plan. Try finding a tutor in London before you take the road test. Take your time and check your blind spots

I called 3 days before my test to see if I had to renew my sticker and the answer was no. I even called service Ontario and they said no. When the province says you don't need to renew your license plate sticker yet, you should honor that, and not create your own laws. I went and paid anyways same day to try to salvage my driving test and they still said no. Worst people ever. They live under their own rules and have excuses. Where are your problem solving skills when you know there is a massive backlog? They don't treat people well. Put a notice on my file for expression of speech you hypocrites. If the police won't pull you over for a expired sticker due to covid, you shouldn't worry about it. But.you did. Your decision. Another political decision to make money. Good job Ontario. Regardless of Premiere I will blame this service center for Lack of professionalism. Now we have to wait a year for a driver's test. Won't be coming back here. You should not operate a business anywhere. Anytime. Nobody will appreciate your lack of effort.

Successfully passed my G2 at this location. My examiner Brian was very nice and clear with instructions. Had no nerves during the exam and everything went well!

Honestly when I was there I was happy not much of a wait. The staff was friendly. The few I met had a great sense of humor.

Worst ever experience. I arrived exactly on time but the front desk lady said you are supposed to be here 30 mins before the driving test. I explained her that I drove 3 hours to London for this test and there was a crash on route. I waited for a road test for more than a year due to COVID-19 but the front desk lady and inside staff was extremely rude and disrepectful.

Two months before I went to Drive Test in New Market for my G Test they returned me back by saying that I am from Peel Region and are not allowed for a road test.why did you booked my test in the first place?

Far too concerned about squeezing as many road tests in as possible despite the restricted amount of people allowed inside, but not concerned about it enough to maybe set up a small area to handle just that so other people that are forced to do business with this private company because the Government decided to contract out their responsibilities can do so in a timely fashion.

Waited 50 minutes to hand in a form I was later informed could have gone in a drop box, but the person in charge of handling the line up "is new" and didn't know

Me and everyone I know who has been here has had a terrible experience. The staff is extremely rude. The line outside was managed terrible. Every person working there left everyone in the line outside waiting in the rain and made me wait in the line twice which was extremely unnecessary. They were also very rude to my mother and kept telling her to leave when she was simply trying to give me her credit card so I could pay for my test. If I could give a lower star review, I would.

I went for my G license.honestly the staff is really nice. Special thanks to my instructor, Darcy he was so nice, i was so nervous but he made me so comfortable, my nervousness was all gone by talking to him. I really appreciate how he works because 1000s of people come for driving test and the anxiety on the test day is very high.but if you get a good instructor.there is less chance of making mistakes. I went for my G test and I had a girl examiner named Linda. She made the test incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. She wore goggles that looked too much like sunglasses and a hat, including her mask I have no idea what she looks like which doesn’t help my nerves. When she gave directions it was rude and demanding almost like she didn’t want to be there and I was an inconvenience to her, it was as if she hates her job. I already have terrible nerves but she didn’t even help them the tiniest bit, when I tried to make conversation she would get irritated so we had to sit in awkward silence at red lights etc. When I took my G2 there I had a guy examiner who was so kind and helpful towards my nerves during my test I passed with flying colors. If you get Linda as your examiner I wish you all the luck.

Very subjective in accepting the previous driving experience. There is no clear standard to accept the previous experience and the rejection decision has no rational basis.

Jesse was my road test examiner and she was great! When I was getting nervous she assured me I was doing fine and she was really easy to talk to:). People at the booths where you get your picture taken are really nice too, I saw they were very supportive of test takers who passed or failed.

Special mention to Jessy, as she was my examiner on my G2 test. When I felt nervous, she helped with a small talk. That improvised my confidence and was able to pass the test with an ease. Great service overall!

Was pretty dead when I got there around 11 am but picked up quite quickly, my appointment for my road test was at noon and I was told to wait in the car, to which I waited for around an hour for my instructor to come out. However Paula made me feel really comfortable and listened to me when I had a question while driving. Im not from the London area but she made my experience better than I could have asked for.

There is one employee there that is not helpful at all, she refused my foreign driving experience and i had to contact the ministry of transportation to fix that.the employee asked me to go back to my home country to fix some paperwork which was weird considering the current covid-19 situation. And when i contacted the MTO they answered that they reviewed my paperwork and it's okay.
Next time i went in with an email from the ministry of transportation the same lady told me you have to print out that email, i tried showing it to her on my cellphone but she didn't wanna see it.
So basically she will look for any minor reason in order to avoid doing her job which is helping you finish your major purpose of the visit.she starts by looking at missing papers/items or even small mistakes in paperwork that will help her to avoid doing her job.such employees should be relocated as the front desk requires someone who really wants to help not just hate his job and wants to get rid of people

I knew this place had a reputation as being terrible before I booked my road test, but man did I underestimate how bad it really was.

The first driving test I took here (G-2), I got an instructor that spoke literally zero English. He was rude and I couldn't understand anything he was saying. He also yelled a lot. It's a miracle I ended up getting my G-2.

For my G road test, I got a short hair, chubby woman that was extremely rude and condensing. It's like she wanted me to feel as uncomfortable as possible for the entire ride

It's worth it to travel outside of London for the test. Your chances of getting a competent instructor are significantly better.

My cousin went with two pieces of documents needed to do it but was refused and met with a rude and disrespectful worker. Would rather drive 2hrs to another center then talk to her again.

Recently, I got my license from london drive test. The examiner Jessy was amazing and she made me feel comfortable throughout the test. I wish other people who gonna give test could have Jessy, so that they can feel more comfy and can easily get through the test without any stress.

We got there at opening time of 7am. 5 people in front of us. My daughter grabbed a number, waited a bit, took her G1 test and out with her G1 by 7: 45am!

My son's appointment was cancelled via email hours before the test! No reason given. Not able to get a hold or anyone to discuss or able to reply to email. Just notification to rebook.which will probably take months to get in. This test is needed for employment and lots of work was done to make it happen in the first place. So angry!

Got my G license few days ago. I was scared to go here because of bad reviews. But I had an amazing examiner (don’t know her name) and the staff inside the test centre was also very helpful. Highly recommended.

Nice receptions, but the examiner is disgusting.met the same guy twice in the same place.he failed me twice for minor problems. His instructions are not ever clearly stated because of the ambigious words being used. When I questioned, he said this is the MTO stanadrd for road test.without any further explainations and you would have to be lucky to figure out what he really means.
If you got a chance, probably have another examiner, they might be better and nice to you.

Great experience with the examiner, passed my G, but the clerk behind counter did not advise me of what to do next as my G2 licence was expired and I supposed to go online and request one after my G test so then it can be mailed. I waited 6 weeks thinking it was all set after I passed my test and the new licence will be mailed to me. I only came to know about the proper process after I called the helpline. Wasted 6 weeks in waiting for nothing only because the clerk did not bother to advise me of my next steps. Very unhappy.

Great experience with the examiner Linda. Passed my G. Told her I was really anxious I dont like test. She was reasuring polite and understanding. Talked to her for a couple of minutes before we went on the road test. Which that helped! Thank you Linda:) keep doing what your doing your amazing!

I was rudely and unfairly turned away for my roadtest. Last week, I called drivetest and was told I couldn't take my road test due to my Toronto address during COVID-19 unless I go to ServiceOntario to change my address and bring proof of my address. Checked the drivetest website thoroughly (word for word says: If you changed your residential address on or after November 26,2020 you will be required to show proof of your new address when you arrive for your road test.) and called them 3 separate times to make sure I could take my test after changing my address and bringing my NOA and bank statement (which are clearly acceptable documents issued within the last 12 months as per the website) with my current London address. The manager (blonde middle age) at drivetest was ready to fight me when I wanted to speak to her about me being turned away and she pretty much said she doesn't know who I spoke to on the phone and what the website says doesn't matter. After coming back home I called drivetest and they apologized for what happened. They also said they would look into it and try not to have anyone else be in my position. It is really hard not to get frustrated when the staff all say different things and not own up to how they essentially wasted a lot of my time.

Because there is no phone number listed, anywhere for this place, I have had no choice but to risk it and go in person. I have come twice now, waited in line, for approx an hr, only to be told I didn't have the proper materials required for my reason being there. However, the last two times, I asked specifically what was needed, and was given misinformation. It would be nice if all employees were updated on, and dishing out the same, clear, and concise advice/ direction. It would be even nicer, if there was a phone number listed, that is for the direct drive test centre, rather then the 1-888 # for ministry of transportation. So citizens didn't have to go in person, during a pandemic.

Why is there no number to call? During covid 19 people would like to call before just walking in

Even during this pandemic the staff were kind, understanding, friendly, and very polite with any and all questions. I went for my G test, not originally from or live in London. Thanks to covid this was the closest place for me. Before my test I drove around the area testing each ability needed to pass. The instructor was professional and polite, wasn't impatient or grouchy, any questions or clarification on his instructions he answered.
