It is a good place for shoes. I like to go there. The selection of shoes are wide
But getting the right size can be challenging.

Horrible service. I have been calling the store for two days, several times throughout the day and no one is answering the phone.

I had ordered winter shoes online but size was wrong (my bad). Went back to store to return. My experience was very nice. The sales person, Chevonne, was extremely polite and helpful. She suggested the right shoe size, gave proper guidance. She helped me to do a order of new shoes at the desk. The store design is very nice. Even the other staff is nice and helpful. Lookin forward to get the shoes in store soon. Have to do more shopping of shoes.sports & office.will seek guidance from Chevonne again. It's like a trust has been established. Best wishes to Chevonne and all other staff members.

I'm very much disappointed. My toddler son wear this shoe in the store and walk around as he was feeling comfortable. However, one of the shoes toe tip was damaged within 15 minutes. We returned to this store and showed the damaged part and asking for repair or replace it. But the storekeeper denied it as they didn't sell this toe damaged product. We asked for repair suggestion or options but denied. Don't know why did they sell such item for kids. It seems they don't have any proper return/replace policy. It looks like a "Dollar" store for shoes. Don't recommend this store.

Use to be good deals here, not anymore. And cashier couldn’t give me a box for a pair of shoes and still charged me full price. I still bought 4 pairs. Then I asked for a bag and they couldn’t give me one. Have u ever tried to carry 4 pairs of shoes at once?

Online there were showings open till 8: 00pm.
But they closed door at 7: 07pm. They didn’t let us in.

I returned boots that were past the return date and they graciously refunded without a problem. Will definitely shop there again!

Literally found some nice pair of sandals that I bought for Mother’s Day and for my mom. Absolutely great deals and many selections to choose from! Plus the staff were super friendly and even honoured the price that was displayed on the sales floor at the registered. It came up as $89.99 at the cashier but I said it was marked $79.99 when I checked. The gentleman who helped me, Jeremy, said he will make an exception. Excellent customer service! Thank you so much!

Today myself and my fiance got our wedding shoes for great prices. Also don't talk about the sizes my fiance wears a size 14 and myself 9 in a half. Let me tell you if anyone is having trouble finding big or half sizes DSW is the LICK.

My fiance received disappointing service this evening. Customer service staff really need training on how to communicate with customers and how to handle situations where the customer is justifying a return from a different location on a pair of shoes to obtain a different shoe. Management really needs to learn how to step up and address the matter directly with the customer when situations escalate.

Online was still showing their store hours we’re 8pm, based on those hours I arrived to the location at exactly 6: 05pm to make a return. Upon my arrival a lady was locking the door, I explained that I simply wanted to make a return. She said since it was ten after the tills were closed, however I still saw a customer in the back of the store.so that was obviously untrue. I drove quite a distance, and had my two young kids. So now I have to travel again to attempt this return at a different date. It’s unfortunate that the hours of operation were not correct online/in person, but the lady in the store was rude and condescending

Good selection of affordably priced shoes. You won't find anything super fancy here but that's not the point of this store.

Bought a pair of Birkenstock sandals at the Eglinton Corners branch at Eglinton-Warden branch. Prices competitive but not spectacular. Staff not particularly helpful…or interested. Anyway, got the wrong size so returned them the following day. This time was helped by a sales associate called Hunter who went beyond the call of duty to help me. So the company is redeemed by her commitment to customer service.

Shopping for men's winter boots. No signage to point out where that is. Limited tags on shoes saying good for -40 or waterproof or something to indicate appropriate for Ontario winters. Only 3 colours, brown black or grey. They all basically look the same. When you find a style you like chances are they will not have your size. When I finally found something nice I look at the price. $199. The same as Hudson's Bay, where I just drove from, for the same boot. No Savings. What is the point of being here?

The reason I put One star because your return policy during strict lockdown does not exist. I bought couple pairs of shoes and have to wait one month to return some of them. Other stores like adidas and h&m accept returns. I believe you should have taken measurements and practise your stores to accepts returns.

Selection is VERY small. However, very good deals; especially on the clearance rack for size 5 or 6. Ladies if you're feet is a size 9 just forget about it!

I literally ran in to pick up a purchase that they had had for over 10 days and had not told me.however i was in and out as there was no one there.

Great selection of low end and name brand footwear. Very clean store plus a wide selection for you to choose from. The staff are friendly waiting to help you select the right footwear that your looking for.

I love the huge selection of shoes at DSW. Honestly unbeatable prices. I've also ordered from them online and it is very easy to do in-store returns, which is helpful

It doesn't allow mines rating otherwise I would. I order in the store online & delivery was 4 days, but they didn't do the delivery. Also they don't answer phone and email. It's just waste of money. Even DSW Canada didn't answer phone. Waited for half hour.

Place looks good, staff are really attentive and nice. Lots of styles, but it seemed even when the shelves were full, they were out of lots of sizes. Tried to order online, but online was “out of everything” too. Tried to order 1/2 sizes, but they insisted everything I was looking for only came in full sizes. Went next door to Sportchek - they had the same shoes, in stock, in 1/2 sizes, and cheaper. I’m not saying ‘don’t go to DSW - I’m just saying ‘don’t ONLY go to DSW.

Great place to check out shoe sales every now and then. When they have specials you can usually pickup a great pair of shoes at really good prices.

I really like the stores in the USA. Here the selection was not of the same calibre and the prices were much higher even before taxes. In say. Buffalo, you can find MK shoes for $60. No MK at all here. Plus, they were selling Jessica Simpson for $60 which is not the same even with our exchange.

Horrible size selection. My son and I looked for 4 different pairs we liked each no size in any. Garbage service. No one willing to help.

I have gone to this store for over 10 years, and the only thing that kept me going was once in a while you scored a great pair of shoes at an amazing price but often you are compromising what you'd want for what best suits the amount your willing to spend. As many noted, the staff are rude, and often you can't get help and when you do they spend more time talking to their coworkers in another language than answering your questions or helping in any great detail. Well today was the lat time, they were rude again, as a regular customer it's insulting. I'll pay more for better service elsewhere, and for staff that doesn't spend most of their time with you speaking to their coworkers in another language. It goes like this, you pose a question, they look at you without answering, talk to a coworker in a language they know you don't speak for some time, only to come back with a simple two letter one word answer. You wonder if they are just outright insulting you. This has been the consistency I've seen, again the savings aren't worth the degrading experience.

So disappointed in the clearance section. The '13 and over' section is full of size 12. It makes me wonder if the staff is capable of counting and understanding that 12 is less than 13, or maybe they're just lazy and refuse to put things back in the correct place. They lack contemporary and popular styles of shoes and good luck finding someone to actually help you. My wife loves the place, but I feel like the mens department is terrible.

Went to return something and the cashier happily helped me out and was very quick with the service (forgot her name)

I stopped before at DSW and vas always very satisfied. This ome exided all my expectations when it came to prices and stock, got two pairs of shoes for under $180 and they are perfect. Sales people are very polite, and helpful, they go out their way to help you find what you are looking for.

When you are out shopping and feeling confused it's never a good feeling especially in winter. The sales representative that assisted me was very patient and professional, she gave suggestions based on my preference and feedback from other customers. I got some great deals on items at the back of the store too. That is my favorite section can get up to 70% off.who wouldn't, for nice designer shoes, heels or branded sneakers.

Nice place to get some quality shoes. 3 Star is because of the customer service they provide during trying the sizes.

I purchased boots from another location and the boots were not suitable for me. Prior to the sales rep placing the shoe in the box the boots were fine. I went to return the merchandise which was unworn to the Scarborough location and was advised by the sales rep that the shoes were worn and they can give a store credit. I advised the sales rep I would not be accepting a store credit and the shoes were not worn. She spoke to her manager and said they would make an exception. The sales rep was very rude and told me that it was my problem that I purchased the product. This store experience was very negative. I wouldn't recommend going to this location. My experience with US locations have been positive and the Vaughn Mills location. Scarborough is not recommended.

Went to 3 stops before stopping here. Found everything we needed all in one stop. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well.
