Lots of selection but the prices are not 'warehouse' deals. Appreciated the layout and sizing.

Overall ok experience. We went there midday on a Tuesday so it wasn't busy. Store is nicely organized and clean but not the best selection BUT they also looked like they were in the process of doing a restock. Only two stars because, even though it was not busy, we were never greeted or asked if we needed help finding anything by any of the staff members. Easily would give 3 or 4 stars, despite lack of selection, if the customer service was better.

There are some deals to be had, but you will need to hunt and be knowledgeable about the prices. Staff seemed friendly both times I have been there.

Purchased some new shoes. After wearing them for 20 mins realized there was something wrong with one of the shoes and it was causing foot pain. Stopped back in the store and it was no issue swapping the single bad shoe for a replacement. Great customer service and it was hastle free.

Ordered online recived the wrong size was told I'd have to get a new pair shipped to store and exchange defeats the whole purpose of ordering online and absolutely no compensation for My time or gas. Mistake/accidents happen I'm aware but the customer shouldn't be the one who has to deal with the consequences of someone else's error. Think customer service could/ should have handled it differently

After getting the run around on a new pair of work boots at Apple saddlery, I was staggered with how helpful the team was at this location. My first pair of birks started to fall apart after less than 3-months and it was simple value-affirming to the business. “Oh this is very unusual, did you want another pair? Or maybe a credit to try something else? ” Considering they had been worn and were not in the same condition as the boots, it was just SO refreshing.

My hats off to the manager there and his team! Thank you making a call that made all the difference to me and my outlook on your business!

DSW in Newmarket has great name brand shoes for any and all occasions for the entire family. Great reasonable prices for foot wear. Love the great selection and staff is friendly, helpful and approachable. Highly recommend this location for sneakers, for the entire family.

Pricing is not too bad, majority of things are like 10-20$ off the regular retail price.they probably wont have size you looking for unfortunately.the selection could be better, staff definitely need improvement.not once in the hour and bit i was there did anyone offer me help but offered others.

Staff are attentive but not overbearing. Really appreciate that all stock is in the showroom and you can self-serve. Range of styles and sizes is as good if not better than other local stores. Lots of kids options. Always our first stop for footwear, and usually our only stop.

Great place to find shoes with such a great variety of options. I took a star off because the music is very loud and not music everyone wants to listen to

Good service. Wide selection, but not many sizes available. However, I was looking for winter boots late in the season. I found the prices a bit high tho.

Great selection. Caveat: Watch for quality (glue marks, actual matching lengths of soles, etc). Also, if you leave a mess, the staff don't mind.

Good selection, very neat, well organized, and clean. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return.

What a great shoe store. Lots of choices for the whole family shoes including Dress, casual, slippers, boots and heels. Well laid out and very organized, Can't wait for it to reopen again, Staff are knowledgeable and show Patience, good traits when you are shoe shopping. Loads of parking here.

I went in for a very comfortable running/walking shoe. I walk anywhere from 22 to 25 kms a day four days a week. I told this to the sales lady and she gave me 5 different shoes to try on. I settled with the charged pursuit from Under Armour. The shoe has deluxe foam inserts so when walking for some 7 hours they are unbelievably comfortable and my feet feel great. Highly recommended for walking long hours.

Customer service is excellent, but the store need to be a little bit easier to navigate to what you need.

Since my last review more than 2 years ago, I like to change it to 4 star.better vale and service.

They had a size 13 pair of Adidas that I have been looking for. I really am impressed Love this place

The customer service is really poor. No cashier (she was busy with her cellphone), nobody to help you to find your shoes.

Good big box style shoe store with great sizes. My toddler has WIDE feet. Like super wide. Every other shoe store just showed me normal widths and told me they “fit wide”. DSW I could order a REAL wide toddler shoe and ship it to the store for free. The staff were super helpful.

Great selection. Staff were extremely helpful! Especially Desiree, she made my experience worth it, we will be back!
