DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

Very poor customer service! I am visiting from Australia and was interested in purchasing a pair of shoe that did not have a price on them. The two staff members took my number to call me the next day as they could not find the price. They did not call. I called the next day and spoke to Nic, the assistant manager. He said he would call me back later that day and never did. I guess they are not interested in selling shoes!

Lots of different kinds of shoes for all different kinds of people.
The only thing is that I am disappointed in is the higher prices.but I guess that's everywhere now unfortunately

Lots of variety in the styles and designs but limited numbers of each size in any of them. The special discounts change every couple of weeks, so keep going back to check if the one you want is on sale and they might have the one you want in the size you need.

I was returning a pair of shoes I had purchased for my daughter online, as they did not fit. I brought them back to this location however, I did not have the packing slip but I had my email confirmation of purchase with the order #. When I went to the cashier, Christine, she immediately assumed I wanted to exchange them, when I stated I had a return, and promptly showed me where the other shoes were. When attempting to tell her I preferred to just return them, she continued explaining there were other sizes in the back. When we finally returned to the counter, she asked for my receipt and I then stated I have the order number. She looked up the order number a few times and was unable to locate it. She then called out loudly to the customer in line apologizing for the wait, as I had forgotten the pay slip for my return.
I did not find that behavior professional, and she attempted to make it look as though the customer waiting was my fault. (I did not see any other employees in the busy store, either.
Because of this interaction, I will be second guessing my next shoe purchase.

Staff vocal about having to clean trays from being grungy and then computers not online (apparentlynew install). Had to ask about the discounts then did not receive it.more excuses.manager finally stepped in

Very busy on the 28th. Very low stock size wise. If you are a 5,6,7 or 11 you have choices. 8,9 and 10 pretty much nil unless you're buying winter boots but only high tops and laces. Customer service was ok but again they were very busy. Ended up at Factory Shoe just because there was lots of stock in low cut boots and size 8 in Clark's. Factory Shoe had plenty of choices. Very busy but help was there when needed.

Sales person on cash lied to me. She guaranteed I would not be contacted by email or by phone. Lie: I have been bombarded with unwanted emails and calls. Apparently asking for my personal email was "just in case I would lose my receipt".
I haven't been able to connect with the company to have my email removed from their f list

They always have a great selection of great quality shoes. It really is a one stop shop for our family. That's something I value, especially in times where you need to limit the places you visit.

DSW always has a wonderful selection at reasonable price, a great refund policy and the staff is great and always so helpful!

Ok it's open. Restricted number of people at a time. Better prices online elsewhere at the moment

I will never order from them again. Ordered online and they charged my card twice! Once when I placed the order, and another 9 days later (I already had the shoes). I have called and emailed them a couple of times and have had no response! Not impressed with their customer service.

I always find something special when i stop here. Not necessarily what i am looking for or need but sometimes. Great store can find staff when you need them but they don't hound or follow you around either!

I've found some nice things here, great prices on your clearance section if you are looking for quality at fair price! Staff always helpful and approach you with a smile.

Great, I can always find the right pair of shoes here. When I've had to return shoes there's been no issues.

Amazing selection - however, I find them to still be on the pricy side. They can’t compete with some online shops.

Great quality shoes many manufactured in Europe, some look hand stitched, at reasonable price points.

Its a great place to find name brand shoes, but it may not always have the ones you are looking for at the warehouse

Helpful staff on floor. Found just what I wanted from a really great selection. Only one person on checkout which was the only downside.

DSW is addicting. I love this place. This was a great location, had a large selection. The store was clean, well organized and well kept.

Great selections, membership deals are excellent value and the staff are always friendly and very helpful

Not even sure how I never knew about this place. Took my grandma shopping for shoes here for her birthday. Very classy and affordable.

Distressed soles. Never heard that one before but kudos to the manager for the most creative but ridiculous excuse. Went it yesterday to purchase dress shoes. One of the pair of shoes I found had clearly been worn before and showed signs of wear and tear at the bottom and was in the box without protective paper or wrapping. Only one in my size. Bring it to the cashier's attention, who calls her manager to ask what can be done. The manager shows up and pretends this is how the collection is, and that thise are distressed bottom shoes. Left laughing

We went to this store for the first time during Boxing week. They had a great deal on kids sneakers so we bought a pair of glow-up ones for our daughter who just loved them. There was a -30% discount and an additional -20% off on top of that, which was a great deal. The sales person who helped us was very friendly and she took all of our information and said they would let us know when it's here. I remember that I was surprised that we didn't have to pay in advance after we left the store, but didn't think too much of it.
Since we didn't receive a call for about 1.5 weeks I stopped in to make sure they didn't forget about us. Sure enough, no one found any records of this order anywhere. Not sure exactly what happened, but I assume the sales person must have been new and likely didn't know the process that well. Mistakes happen - I get that. What bothered me more, however, was the fact that management seemed more surprised and defensive about my story than apologetic and they didn't even honor the additional discount of -20% on top of the -30% that I would have received during Boxing week. Even the sales girl there seemed surprised with the manager's decision and apologized a few times. I ended up taking the shoes because my daughter would have been very sad, but I will definitely not come back again.
